the founder is joining us now. how did you come up with this idea. >> it was actually for me. i have a very busy lifestyle. i just took to wearing high heels all the time. eventually it just became too painful. i really do my foot. i got really angry. why is it not possible to just remove that high heel and replace it with something smaller. melissa: we have like an extra pair of shoes most the time with us when we are going to work. why is this better than that john mark. >> because sometimes you cannot do that. you do not always have a big

handbag. four example for me, i would often be going from downtown paris to the suburbs for a meeting. you do not want be changing your shoes all the time. it is not always convenient to carry that spare pair. melissa: little bit slow out of the gate. what changes did you make? >> the big reason that comes over response was slow is we got a lot of media attention here in france before we were truly ready. a lot of brands competing for consumer attention. you have to be beautiful and fashionable. what actually changed is two things. we got good at designing fashionable footwear and we also improved our supply chain.
