i am sandra smith joined by laura simonetti in nicole petadilles. welcome to "fbn:am" come your first look at what is moving today's markets and what to expect the day ahead. major announcements expected from apple today. one is on the story. what can we expect? lauren: it was basically confirmed by sony music ceo over the weekend reportedly saying apple has $170 billion in the bank appeared 800 million credit cards in itunes. my guess is apple will promote this i crazy and i think you'll have a halo effect of the streaming business. apple business costing $10 a month, channels curated by human djs. apple also expected to update its operating system for iphones and ipad to ios nine. major improvements in more predictivpredictiv e services that can help you out during your day. watch for a new mac os and the

that happening today. president ibarra in germany for the second day of the g-7 summit. what are we watching their. nicole: europe angela merkel merkel and the olympics were held, the g-7 are the biggest leaders meeting today, discussing everything from greece to global warming peer pressure and sanctions. just to name a few. there's been some big talk from the european commissioner who's been putting pressure on alexis to press something on wednesday. he expected something from greece the following day and he still waiting. that is what we've been watching. bloomberg was quoting a french official that president obama said a strong dollar was problematic. u.s. officials coming up in standout is not what president obama said.

meeting. u.s. futures right here at home give us some indication of where things will open on wall street. the dow, the s&p and nasdaq futures are trading lower. not big loss there, but a lot to happen between now and the opening bell. we will keep watching it. general electric making is reportedly nearing a deal to sell private equity lending unit to canada's biggest pension fund. sandra: welcome back. happy monday morning, everybody. a quick look at the markets. dow, s&p and nasdaq have been lowered the overnight session. the dow flirting with training positives, but the knicks trading in overseas markets as well. looking at crude oil this morning. we morning. we got some news out of china to their oil imports specifically were stopped after opec decided to keep its production level unchanged. you can see oil prices slipping even further below $60 a barrel. gold prices back up a bit of $1172 up about four tenths of a percent on the session. a somewhat muted day on the economic front. a few potential market moving items. a items. a poll, but watching? transport certainly a few things to watch. first we'll hear from series
