dagen: veteran corrections officer jean palmer has been suspended from his job with pay is now behind ours at the clinton county jail. he is charged with four criminal counts in connection with the prison break. those charges promoting prison contraband, allegedly provided inmates with tools they use to repair electrical equipment according to the district attorney the tools were not used in the escape. two counts of tampering with physical evidence for allegedly destroyed artwork given to him by one of the inmates and a misdemeanor, accepting her work is against. according to the district attorney, accused accomplice joyce mitchell hacksaw blades and other things in fresen hamburger meat for the two inmates as they plan their escape. mitchell gave the first of may to the corrections officer, jean palmer who handed the contraband to dma. the district attorney says palmer did not know there was contraband in the meat and for
