breaking markets and breaking news and what to expect in the day ahead and of course remembering 9/11. breaking news, president will be able to start scaling back u.s. sanctions against iran next week. seven democrats voting to uphold the iran nuclear deal. >> people around the world should know today's outcome wag clear, decisive and final. there is no now doubt whatsoever that congress of the united states will allow this historic agreement to go forward. nicole: disapproval of the resolution falling 2 votes short of 60 needed to derail the deal. house republicans will try to stop the deal in its tracks today but the bill is expected to fail. bill expected to formally adopted is aimed at curbing iran's nuclear program. lauren: opec, turning more pessimistic about the future of oil prices this year. "wall street journal" says members of the cartel believe prices won't go much higher than

they are right now amid plentiful supply and softening demand from china. one official says opec expects brent crude to trade between 40 to $50 a barrel by end of this year. that is down from 70 to $80 a barrel as previously forecast. nicole: breaking this morning, war of words continues between donald trump and carly fiorina. now the top gop presidential candidate under fire for making disparaging comments about his republican rival in "rolling stone" article earlier this week. we told you about that. trump defending those words "on the record." >> she mentioned something about me. she knocks me and when somebody knocks me like jeb bush or anybody else, i at least decide to the, i think it is appropriate to fight back. but we're talking only about

persson no. nicole: mean while governor bobby jindal stepped up his attack against trump's candidacy. >> he doesn't have any policy depth. he tells us his stacks plan will be fabulous and health care plan will be great. in reality he doesn't for anything but donald trump. he is not here to make america great. he is here to make donald trump great. nicole: talking tough. trump firing back jindal. he did not make the debate stage and i never met him. i only respond to people reg officering more than 1% in the polls. i never thought he had a chance and i've been proven right. tough talk. lauren: how is this going shape up next week when 11 republican presidential candidates qualified for prime time debate on wednesday. front-runner, donald trump, will be there along with carly fiorina.

110% of who they are. lauren: and he is right. i agree with that. global markets with hang seng, kospi to the downside. >> there you go. you can see the footsie down half of 1%. cac selling off by .8%. dax almost down 1%, feeling brunt of selling there in germany. nicole: look at u.s. stock futures. we're seeing dow down. s&p and nasdaq with down arrows. lauren: great week, nicole. nicole: we managed to squeeze out gains. a manage charged with killing his father over a cut in his allowance, may end up a psychiatric facility. the judge ruled yesterday that 30-year-old tommy gilbert is not mentally fit to stand trial in the shooting death of his trial thomas gilbert, sr. in manhattan. the firm ace website, that

billions of dollars into some of these start-ups. we're looking at general electric, nearing decision to relocating headquarters. plans to decide whether to move the headquarters of more than 40 years from connecticut. verizon's g90 video service targets millenials. go90, wasn't into that. not my thing. watch that on the phones and tablets via an app. it is all aimed at of course younger folks. lauren: everything is aimed at younger folks. nicole: i'm looking a the stock charts and the like to bet on that. >> the nation marks the 14th anniversary of the september 11th terrorist attacks. nearly 3,000 men, women and children were killed in those attacks 14 years ago. in new york city the commemoration ceremony will begin at the 9/11 memorial plaza, at 8:30 eastern this morning. it will paws six times. twice to mark when each plane hit the towers. twice to mark the time when each

tower fell and mark moments of attacks on pentagon and on flight 93. family members of victims will participate in the reading of names in the nation's capitol. president obama and white house staff will also observe a moment of silence this morning. and the pentagon will unfurl a large american flag on the side of the building that was hit in the attack. at 10:03 eastern. the names of the flight 93 passengers and crew will be read in shanksville, pennsylvania. nicole: we will be right back everybody. stay with us.

[laughter]. nicole: all right. let's get you caught up here. global markets a mixed bag. shanghai composite a little bit after gain. hang seng, nikkei and kospi, being worst of the bunch down 1%. lauren: how did europe open today? look to the downside. ftse, cac and dax all lower. dacs and germany feeling brunt of selling down about 1%. nicole: let's take a look at u.s. stock index futures. we've had a decent week but seeing them to the downside. the dow down 60 points. a loss of half of 1/3 of 1%. s&p down eight. nasdaq down 26. great day for oil yesterday. popping 4%. it is to the downside by 2%. if you saw goldman sachs forecast for u.s. oil prices this year and next, 48.10 this

year. down to 45 for next year. that $45 down from earlier forecast of 57. imagine that. bigger cut. nicole: going nowhere fast. oil sort of stagnant. a jump yesterday because of gasoline demand. gold, 1106, down 2 1/2 bucks. lauren: let's see how currencies are doing, u.s. dollar how it is faring against other currencies around the world. only currency with weakness is u.k. pound. nicole: this is interesting interview -- i'm sorry. here is the 10-year treasury down 2.2%. lauren: basically flat. nicole: now we're getting on to floyd mayweather, jr. a guest yesterday on "making money with charles payne." it was great interview. charles asked mayweather about sb nation report that he took saline inject unshun of vitamins before the second fight with manny pacquiao. listen to this. >> people have been taking shot at me for many, many years trying to find different things

bit, lauren. lauren: the range yesterday, nicole was pretty tight. that is so rare lately. this is how asian markets closed. shanghai with an up arrow but barely. red arrows in hong kong and japan. in south korea, down 1%. nicole: look at europe under pressure all morning long but off the lows of the day. foot down 1/3 of 1%. lauren: crude prices move lower. $494.85 a barrel after opec cut its price forecast for the year to essentially current levels. nicole: every forecast coming out, nothing like 55 or $60. that's what we're seeing. oil and gold both to the downside. gold down 2.50, at at 1106 for gold. lauren: tough week for gold.

takes place at the reagan presidential library in california. there will also be a prior debate of five lesser scoring contenders but you can watch that as well. so it will be interesting. interesting how they're battling out, exchanging words, tough blows. in the end they will all have to support actually the real nominee and come together in the head. lauren: in my head i'm thinking of tag-team that will shape up together. time nor another market check. we'll start in asia. asian stocks mostly to the downside. hang seng, kospi all down. nicole: on europe we've seen europe under pressure with down arrows. ftse, cac and dax all lower. right now the dacs almost 1% to the downside. ftse down 1/3 of 1%. lauren: i don't want to jinx it, nicole, looks like we might see some stability here in the u.s. look, dow futures only down 50 points. yesterday they were up only 76. so we're not seeing those

445-point swings we saw just a few days ago. dow futures down 50. s&p futures down 7. nasdaq futures down 24 points. nicole: wait and see mode. lauren: what are you doing this weekend before you head out the door? look at the weekend forecast. we have fox meteorologist maria molina with us. good morning. >> good morning, lauren. hello, everybody at home. we're tracking weather today. we're looking at several areas of active weather one being new england associated with a widespread cold front that brought in rain across gulf coast and east coast throughout the day yesterday. this morning really focused across parts of new england, most of it already exited the coast. farther west we have the next system. bringing in heavy rain across illinois, missouri, parts of arkansas. we could look at localized flash flooding. very heavy rain from some of the storms. that is something to watch. bigger story behind these systems, we're getting reinforcing shots of cooler air. this morning you're already on the chilly side out there across

nasdaq down 22. but it has been a winning week on wall street. most of averages up one-half of 1%. we've got your first look at robert de niro as bernie madoff. oscar-winning actor star in hbo new biopic, the wiz ard of lies, filming in new york. image with uncanny likeness. de niro son the right, okay, folks? michelle phieffer as bernie's wife, rude madoff. the movie will delve into madoff's multimillion-dollar ponzi scheme and victims and family. currently in production over at abc is madoff. that is starting richard dreyfuss as bernie and blythe damager as ruth. madoff is currently serving 150-year sentence at a federal prison. lauren: can you believe he was arrests seven years ago? i remember following that story
