some people are watching whether they'll do it at the end of the month. up 3%. >> cheryl: ftse about 49 points. a gabe of almost 1%. cac up up almost 1%. >> nicole: energy has been the star of the market. s&p 15 and nasdaq bouncing back, that was the worst yesterday, it's looking the best. >> cheryl: oil is one of the reasons that we saw the market taking off. take a look at crude. 49.56. a gain of more than 2%. gold is trending a little bit higher but only by $2, really the story is oil. >> nicole: let's take a look at the currency. euro weaker but everything

pound, canadian dollar peso and yen all stronger this morning. >> cheryl: take a look at the yelled, a little higher 4.4 basis points. >> nicole: there's trouble, walk off the job of chrysler tonight. it will be the first work stoppage since 2007. they had rejected a proposed contract but does say that negotiations are continuing with fiat chrysler, it runs out at mid night tonight. we will keep you posted on that. >> cheryl: volkswagon a recall of cars by scandal will start in january. they hope they can be fixed by the end of next year. 11million vehicles worldwide had

diesel engine with software use to cheat in u.s. emission test. some vehicle could need new ejectors. >> nicole: we are talking volkswagon and audi. they are trying again sweetening the whole thing. brewer of corona. $4billion. this is a third offer it has made for asb miller. meantime, they are saying, it doesn't value the company properly. they are still fighting back. the combined company would have a major presence in u.s., china and africa as well, latin america, austria, it would create significant value. again, they are not liking the
