doesn't matter to them very much. they don't know mccarthy, boehner. lori: well, they know speaker of the house, and they know how much trouble republicans have been in terms of the organization. >> right. lori: so come on in here. what is the news of a bombshell of mccarthy dropping out of the race and what does it do to the republican party? >> it shows that the republican party's in chaos, at least on capitol hill. i don't think there's anyone even paul ryan who can unify the party in the house, a few dozen malcontents who are disrupting and demanding things that no speaker can grant. he don't think people like mitt romney are doing paul ryan any favor. he doesn't want the job, he wants to be chairman of the house committee and handle tax reform and entitlement reform and house speaker -- look, a lot of these conservatives are already calling him a rhino for heaven sakes.

>> or boehner-like. i've heard that. >> it's ridiculous the winner in all of this is barack obama because he looks like the grownup in all of this. like, eric erickson, i disagree it was barack obama. because obama the one that looks like the statesman, and the one reducing to go to capitol hill and the republicans aren't taking advantage of that. lori: so are you optimistic at all that the republican party could work this out? do you think it could have a outcome by 2016. >> i don't know. that's a long time off but in the short time here they're not going to work it out because they -- the person who can unify the party doesn't exist. they may have to take somebody who is just a standin for some months or until the election in 2016. lori: you know, you don't have to be a member of the house of representatives to be a speaker of the house. >> it helps, however,. lori: it does help.

tee, what's the lawsuit for? there's no ininfringement, there's no money damages that donald is sustaining. it's only quite frankly benefiting him because although anything anyone does in opposition to him helps him. so in the long run, i don't think there will be anything major because he's not going to file a lawsuit. lori: can we talk about the biggest infraction here in that how lame this hat is? make america fair again? it's, like, come on. every kid on the soccer field deserves a trophy these days. it's a little bit -- it's a little -- >> off. lori: there's really nothing there. do you think that's an offensive saying? >> no. and all it is doing is giving donald trump more and more press and he's doing other things, got other things on his mind, he's need going to take the time to file the law but the fact that he marketed it in 2012 shows that would some cheers challenge come about, he would take action there. but not here. >> i think it's also reflective of de blasio who

has had such a hard time in new york city as mayor, and i think it's shining the light of how poor job as mayor. >> didn't i it's best for him to start back and marrying rather than trying to have all of these -- why is he as he getting into this? why? >> right. >> first of all, he's not in the presidential race. lori: right. >> and he's got a lot of important things in this city to really focus on, stop and crime, why are we now getting into a debate with donald trump? donald trump lives in new york and actually pays taxes. lori: yeah, so why are we talking about him? let's move on. let's talk about the fantasy sports of insider trading that went on, one employee won 350,000 grand or something using information that he had at his job and applied it to the competing fantasy football league. is there a class-action lawsuit here for all the players who missed out having this info? >> well, perhaps not all the other players but the one person filed thus far was in competition with the employee that won all of that money. this is an example when you

have unregulated gambling. gambling is highly regulated, and i know a lot of people don't want to view something like this as gambling, but when you think about what you're doing, you're betting money to see if you can win money, you can't really call it anything else and it's under those regulations or i should say lack thereof that some people think they have a suit. >> fantasy football leagues are just so much fun. >> they are. >> and it's big bucks, major sporting arenas, you have teams themselves with huge investments in them. so is the government getting involved and going to ruin all the fun? >> i don't know about ruin the fun but regulate it a bit. because you have someone who has an advantage, they're doing all the stacks at one company and going to another company, some of the people there really up against -- it's an unfair advantage, and we can't have that. lori: you've got yahoo today, the nhl saying workers are not permitted to participant, can it stop there? >> well, what's interesting

175 polls and wondering if he'll drop out? george pataki -- >> cruz saying i don't think he'll make the best candidate and i expect his base to come to me. they were tight, ted cruz, that is a surprise. >> i think ted cruz is running against donald trump. i don't think he would be the most objective guy. lori: they were supportive of one another. what's more interesting than the specific trump debate is the anti-establishment theme in terms of the republican contenders, you've got trump, carson and fiorina, one, two, three, they've had it with the establishment. is that a fair point? >> lori, definitely, and carly fiorina had on the show this week is the most establishment and outsider at the same time. carson is the most interesting even more than trump to me. he's been engaged in debates that go on for a week or more over the muslim president thing, the gun stuff this week, robbed in a popeyes and all it does is seem to bump him up.
