shares of twitter right now, a different story for twitter this morning. that stock is tumbling. the company issued a disappointing revenue forecast for the holiday period. twitter coming up short on the number of active users. the results showed the challenges facing jack dorsey who was recently hired as the company ceo. dorsey give a reason for the revenue during conference call to the company. it would take some time to show meaningful useful growth. that's the key that was awful. >> nicole: federal reserve wraps up two-day policy meeting. no rate hike is expected even though fed officials have warned that a raise is possible, hints when the feds will pull the

trigger. fed statement said it's monitoring abroad. any changes to that wording, of course, could signal a possible rate hike in december. fedex pressed concerns in september about overseas weakness. it could make a december liftoff less likely. >> cheryl: let's get you caught up on global action market. first to asia, let's take a look at those markets on the hills of u.s. markets closing last night. hang seng losing a half percent. nikkei, shanghai and kospi, pretty flat day for asia.
