xi jinping. the hang seng up 2.1%. nikkei and kospi up. >> cheryl: let's see how europe is following with those asia numbers. kind of a mix bag. you have the ftse, the dax in germany down 20 points. >> nicole: u.s. stock market futures have been to the upside, want 2%, dow futures and nasdaq futures up 6. >> cheryl: let's look at oil, a gain of 5 cents, pretty flat so far. gold up $4. >> nicole: let's bring back the greenback. you have the euro and the japanese yen weaker against the u.s. dollar, you are seeing some strength for the greenbacks. >> cheryl: look yield 2.2%.

>> nicole: let's check this out. investors getting tired up about tesla motors, electric car maker said it expects to meet target of producing 50,000 vehicles this year. the forecast overshadowed more red ink, loss of $75 million. hired the foormer google executive as new cfo. >> cheryl: well, the number of e. coli has risen to 35, forced the restaurant chain to close 43 locations. state officials stating that the strength has been identified ant isn't the most severe form of the bacteria. it likely came from contaminated produce. chipotle said it's cleaning and replacing all food within those

restaurants, 12 people have been hospitalized but so far no deaths, there's chipotle mexican grill and the stock has been under pressure since monday when the news broke. >> nicole: potential disaster in the sky. forced to make an emergency parachute landing in arkansas yesterday after running into engine trouble. two passengers in the train and woman who is car was hit, flying for nearby to waco texas where he teaches at baylor university. >> cheryl: very lucky guy. auditing you, they are going down. yes, good morning, the number of audits of individual taxpayers fell to the lowest rate in 11 years last year.

they blame budget cuts. fewer than 1% of individual taxpayers of 2015 physical rate. less money for the irs. revenue from audits declined by 41%. i don't think anybody is upset. >> nicole: that's right. facebook reports earnings after the closing bell today and strong numbers are expected. $43.7billion up from $36 billion from last year. earnings are expected to come in at 52 cents a share and facebook shares are up. 36% from a year ago. so your facebook shareholder happy. we will watch for that. the company said the market cap is $290 billion.

>> cheryl: earnings season is rolling out. we are going to see from time warner and looks like for a property 1.09 a share. 6 and a half billion and 21st century fox expected to report lower earnings of $6.4 billion. twenty-first century fox is a parent company of the fox business network. >> nicole: federal reserve janet yellen to appear and answer actions for bank regulations and overseeing the financial system. the hearing is the first of its kind, yellen is not expected to express specifics. comments will be closely watched. this is the first report of the day, so we will be waiting for the adp report about the nonfarm

payrolls. that's expected to show 180,000 jobs and so obviously they've been somewhat dismal for the job growth. >> cheryl: markets are going to be reacting so that market. there's a lot of big expectations for friday's job report, we are going to have it right here on fox business for you. take a look at the headlines in today's edition of the wall street journal. cad -- canadian crude still flows to u.s. despite keystone pipeline delay. the last one, ab inbev extends bud light's nfl sponsorship, going to continue for another six years, it's valued $1.4 billion. because we can't talk enough about football on the show. >> nicole: they go together on the show, that's right. coming up the tigers top the first college football rankings

marking, the hong kong -- sorry, excuse me, stock program will be in place before year end, the same news market in hong kong as well more than 2% and in tokyo japanese stock had 1.3%, gains on wall street overnight and claiming the 1 is 9-thousand level in three weeks. also strong debut and finally in south korea, kospi also landed in the green gaining about two tenths of one percent but investors stay cautious. everybody is loving it. >> cheryl: that was was a huge ipo. stock correction is over.

the dax is down one tenth of 1%. you see dow futures up and s&p back in the green slightly and key an eye on key names, potbelly looking in the upside today. >> cheryl: all right. this stock is about 7% affleck trick car maker said it expect to meet its target of producing at least 50,000 vehicles this year. more red ink, adjusted third quarter loss. $75million, tesla also announcing former google executive jason whiler as new cfo. >> nicole: the odds of the internal revenue service auditing you are actually going down, failed to the lowest rate in 11 years last year, the irs commissioner blames the drop on budget cuts, it audited fewer than 1% of individual taxpayers in the 2015 fiscal year.
