his latest, believe it or not rap video reaching out to the younger set. melissa: the dow closing on wall street. [closing bell rings] the dow turning positive in last half hour, barely though. we're trying to hang on at the close. we're ending the day on major indices here as bells ring. didn't hold on to positive territory. down just a point on the dow. s&p, nasdaq, crude oil and gold all trading to the downside on the day. david: while markets wait for tomorrow, here is everything you need to know right now. melissa: trump is still towering. new "fox news poll" donald trump is still the number one choice for american voters for the 2016 republican presidential nomination. ben carson nipping at his heels. blake burman live from washington, d.c. with what else he is seeing in those polls. blake? reporter: the latest fox news poll shows three-tiered race for the moment on republican side. at the top donald trump and

dr. ben carson with 26 and 23%. lined them senators ted cruz and marco rubio. only others to top double digits both at 11. there is everyone else at 4% or lower. rubio filed his new hampshire paperwork this morning and continued to downplay a now reemerging story of his credit card spending during his days as florida lawmaker and whether he mixed personal spending with the political. trump in the recent days, called rubio spending, a quote disaster. rubio turned tables on trump this morning. >> i find it ironic only person running for president ever declared bankruptcy four times in last 25 years is attacking anyone on finances. reporter: fox news polls, republicans do trust trump when it comes to the finances. that the billionaire businessman is the most qualified to handle the economy. back to you in new york. melissa: blake, thank you so much. david: we have political news.
4:02 pm
senator bernie sanders calling for a political revolution. the democrat socialist filing paperwork to be on the new hampshire primary ballot. he might have trouble in florida because some people say he is not a democrat. fox business's peter barnes is in washington, d.c. with the very latest. peter? reporter: he has been describing himself socialist democrat for years. officially in the u.s. senate he is listed as independent, something he doesn't mention at televised debates or massive rallies. there is real concern what he complete ad formality, handling paperwork and handing over the $1,000 to get on the ballot in new hampshire, that somebody would challenge his eligibility and say he can't run there as democrat because of his record as an independent. so he brought a democratic party official along with him and a lawyer. and, both there just in case. but there was no issue, at least not today. now the newest polls show hillary clinton far ahead of
4:03 pm
sanders but clinton is struggling an slipping with the important ratings on honesty and trustworthiness down 10 point, just since june from 45% to 35%. as she trend down in the category, sanders is reversing course. remember in las vegas at the big debate when he said people don't care about clinton's email controversy? now he says there are valid questions about the case, basically telling "wall street journal" that he didn't have time to elaborate at the debate. that quote, you get 12 seconds so say these things. there is investigation boeing on. i did not say end the investigation. that's silly. let the investigation proceed unimpeded. many news cycles away from early voting in iowa and new hampshire. we'll have to see if this moves the needle at all now that clinton is taking heat from the top democratic rival on -- david: he already lost his move on that one.
4:04 pm
peter, thank you very much. dreamworks just reporting their third quarter results. lori rothman with the numbers. >> apparently "kung fu panda" crushing it. a nice beat on top and bottom line for dreamworks animation. they were expected to come in with a loss of 5 cents a share. revenue was better, $259.2 million. next installment, the third installment of the "kung fu panda" franchise comes out in january. dreamworks is having tremendous success with relationship with netflix. they're taking all the popular movies, "turbo" and, mr. peabody, and turning that into a news session. back to you. david: thank you, lori. gary kaltbaum from kaltbaum capital management. fox news contributor. kimberly foss. and gary shaver.
4:05 pm
are you into the "kung fu panda" stuff? is dreamworks for you? >> i'm into the great relative strength companies with strong earnings and revenue growth and this one really doesn't have it. they report losses three out of four quarters a year. based on a good movie, versus not a good movie. it is okay stock. that is as far as i go. david: they have this affiliation, kimberly with netflix and netflix is gold. >> absolutely, david. since they didn't have a release since march of this year, a little surprising they came out with positive earnings which is a good thing. i'm in the camp too. i can take the stop or leave it. it is in our small cap stock portfolio. i wish them well but we're -- david: two non-takers. that leaves you, eric. >> i think it is terrible stock. i agree with everyone. david: just looking right now, by the way, if you guys tipped scales. i don't see the stock going down
4:06 pm
anymore after-hours but go ahead. >> i just don't like it. it is not to me a viable investment. with all the different types of investments why would anyone want to put their money in this company? frankly their best days are behind them. david: gary? >> yes? david: is there any way you buy into this stock in i mean it is cheap, isn't it? >> but let me just say this. i use two words when i look at market, that is relative strength and how is that stock performing versus the market. i want the stock thats are leading markets up. if you look right now, very, big, big, cap market. facebook gaps up on earnings, google, amazon, gap up on earnings. they're leading the markets. those are stocks i want to look for. i don't want a stock drawn up by the market. it doesn't make the grade for me. melissa: let me jump in there for a second as somebody that could be assumed their products lately. talking about new offerings on netflix.
4:07 pm
my kids have plowed through all of those. series on "turbo" they watched yesterday. "mr. peabody & sherman." we were all over that. endless need for content on netflix. you need any tie to character kids already know. seems like there is an opportunity for them right here because the kids consume stuff so fast on netflix they have to keep buying content. does this make, this stock compelling to any of you on that front, kimberly? >> no. i mean, not really. because, you can get it, you can get it all over the place. can buy dv. dids. you can get content anywhere you want to. melissa: okay. >> money flows where it is rewarded and -- melissa: david, get me out of my misery. liz macdonald has earnings. what do you see? >> coming in at 10 cents a share. expectation was seven cents.
4:08 pm
beating on the top line, coming in at 53.3 million. expectation was 47 1/2 million. giving 2016 revenue estimate of 237 million to 242 million. so shake shack coming in strong on same-store sales growth, topping at 17%. the look see there was 9.6%. we're watching these shares basically, possibly moving in the after-hours. the bid-ask coming up. we'll seeing what shake shack is working for them, is still limited menu. baby boomers are lining up. like limited menu. kids don't have a lot of choices to ask. baby boomer parent like you, melissa and david, enjoy taking kids there. they can only have a few limited choices. interesting thing with shake shack. they will talk about whether or not they do an offering. that weighed on the last quarter's, you know, results. but shake shack now, for consecutive quarter since it went public in january has been
4:09 pm
beating results. we'll watch shares for you. back to you guys. melissa: no, that is phenomenal beat. let's bring our panel back in. you were bored with dreamworks. you must be excited about this one. they were looking for same-store sales growth of 9.6%. that was ambitious. here shake shack crushed that at 17%. what do you think about that? >> i think there is definite potential here but a couple of things. the burger industry now is more crowded than the republican primaries. everybody is opening upham burger joint, especially out in orlando. it is on every corner. other thing is valuation. it is trading 250 times earnings. has a $2 billion market cap with a couple hundred million in revenues. i'm not so sure this takes off. maybe it goes higher from here. i think they came out with too high valuation. melissa: i hear you on valuation. kimberly, let me ask you. you say it is too crowded. you can't go to shake shack not wait in line forever.
4:10 pm
the only reason why we don't go because the line is so long. it doesn't seem to impact. more they open, they have them open all over the city. still the line is down the street and around the corner. it is combination of a good burger that people perceive to be healthier. i don't know how burger can be healthy. organic, blah, blah, whatever. they serve alcohol. fun experience for kids and for parents. kimberly, i don't know, i think this one sets itself apart. >> i do think, i agree with you. we're shake shack virgins out here. we're in california. we're waiting for l.a. shake shack to open, right, guys? so i actually think that there is room for potential for growth here and i think it is really in their stores. they're opening one in tokyo. they're opening one in dallas. we're still waiting out here for california. our equivalent is in-n-out burger. i think there is room for growth. we own it in our portfolios as well. melissa: yeah. eric what do you think? the point on valuation though, it is quite rich.
4:11 pm
seen stock rocketed higher. another beat with this one. got to think it will rocket higher today as well. is it too rich? >> way too rich. to me this is from an investor standpoint vegan burger. there is no beef in terms of what they are able to prove from long-term story. we don't know. very speculative. with that kind of valuation, in, an economy that we don't know what is going to happen, i wouldn't do it. melissa: yeah. we showed the chart which seemed to tell a different story. the stock had been a lot higher. that was after secondary offering. that's where you saw the slump. talked about it being rich even though it is lower. thanks so much, all three of you for joining us. inside the mouse house, disney's fourth quarter report out any minute. analysts anxiously waiting to hear if there are cuts at espn, how that affects the bottom line. david: i think they will go more for this than dreamworks. i just suspect more than
4:12 pm
dreamworks. melissa: i don't know. david: meanwhile, live from new york, it is donald trump. "the donald" hosting "snl." protests continuing to grow. how which kurtz giving us his take. melissa: iran's military forces now hacked our government's social media account. ♪ it's a fact. kind of like mute buttons equal danger. ...that sound good? not being on this phone call sounds good. it's not muted. was that you jason? it was geoffrey! it was jason. it could've been brenda. when a moment turns romantic why pause to take a pill? or stop to find a bathroom? cialis for daily use is approved to treat both erectile dysfunction and the urinary symptoms of bph, like needing to go frequently, day or night. tell your doctor about all your medical conditions and medicines, and ask if your heart is healthy enough for sex. do not take cialis if you take nitrates for chest pain, as it may cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure.

david: another earnings alert, craft heinz reporting third quarter earnings results, not good. reporter: miss on eps adjusted basis and top line. eps came in at 44 cents a share. expectation was 62 cents a share. revenues came in 3.26 billion.
4:16 pm
expectation was 3.67 billion. they say they will raise its dividend. this comes on heels of kraft-heinz announcing layoffs at seven plants no north america this third largest food and beverage company. they will talk a lot about restructuring and effect on bottom line and cutting back on costs and expenses adhering to the bottom line. we're tracking this story the, the stock for you. looks like the stock, might be under pressure going forward. back to you. david: down after-hours. eric, to you first on this one. this is one of those brand names that people like warren buffett love. do you like it? >> you know, look i like anything, almost anything warren buffett likes. i think that this is a great company in terms of its competitive advantage, there is no question. 3g smart guys they will definitely cut things further. you're going to see even greater savings long term. david: okay. >> obviously there have been layoffs.
4:17 pm
long term this company will continue to be -- david: eric i have to cut you off in mid-sentence. we have disney earnings. everybody waiting for those. lori, what are the results? >> it's a mixed picture in after-hours session. disney down 2%. at first blush investors not pleased with the report. >> 1.20 a share. revenue is soft. this is a program -- problem. reading obviously everybody is talking about the "star wars: the force awakens" comes out next month. so much excitement and anticipation. there has been a lot of concern about the cable unit, espn. disney of course owns espn. they have these tremendous contracts with the major sporting leagues and cable affiliate revenue has been soft. they have been reporting declining numbers on that front. that may be problem there. continuing to look into it. david: they have been overspending for those contracts at espn. that is the problem. lori, thank you very much. melissa.
4:18 pm
melissa: our panel is back along with entertainment reporter "in touch weekly" entertainment editor. kim, let me ask you, a lot of focus on cash cow espn which has always been a revenue generator for the company. they warned earlier of a modest decline as more millenials and younger people disconnect and go directly online and aren't getting cable at all. how big of a drag do you think that will be on the company? >> you're right, exactly. if you're under the age of 25 you don't have cable. do everything on streaming. watching it on netflix or hulu or completely disconnecting. that is definitely why maybe you're seeing that. but as you mentioned, "star wars," think about movie franchises disney owns, pixar or lucas film or marvel. that is where it just dominates. melissa: gary, look around. everything is "star wars" right now. everywhere you go. they made about $4 billion for the franchise. sounded like a lot at the time. seems like it was a complete
4:19 pm
bargain. whether clothes apparel, gadgets, cartoons. they have taken franchise. they spread it over everything they have. disney hd. every kid's channel has disney series on it now. i'm sorry, has star wars series on it now. they have exploited "star wars" to the extreme and still kids can't get enough. do you like this stock? >> i'm okay with the stock. look, "star wars" is going to be humongous. if anything disney knows how to do is leverage brands. that is a garr grand juan brand. i'm here in orlando, florida. they're rushing it out left and right all over the place. disney is not just that. theme parks are going big guns. they're building disney springs, a retail restaurant complex that will be gargantuan as well. the big issue is espn. that is a cash cow. that is heading south. i do not think it is a start. i think it will continue going and going.
4:20 pm
i think there is big trouble with that going forward. melissa: kimberly, as we said, they beat on earnings per share. revenue a little bit light. what would your first question be on the call? >> you know, like, why? what is the reason why they missed earnings and really where was the pinpoint reason? if it is the espn, what are they going to do to rectify that in the next quarter? that would be my first call. i agree with gary. this is, i like disney for the long term. it is in our large cap portfolio. it pays a nice dividend a decent dividend. you know, "star wars" thing like you saw, it is all over the place. melissa: all over. >> my kid is watching all the "star wars" with my husband until this comes out. he is 11 years old. plus they will start ground breaking next year in the theme parks as well for "star wars." there is a big cash cow there. melissa: eric, seems like there is huge revenue opportunity for them.
4:21 pm
they did get a bargain on that. meantime they do have other issues. we're looking at theme parks. what would your first question be on the call for the future. what would you want to know about this company? >> what do they really think in terms of when cable will be fully cut to significantly accretive to earnings. i think it is longer time than everyone really thinks. i think short term it will not be big issue. this is great company, great leadership, greatly. weak wall property. a great long-term investment without a doubt. obviously "star wars" will be fabulous. melissa: gary, if the cable properties continue to deteriorate is there enough other here, is there enough other products to make this attractive in the long run? seems like there is between the parks, everything they have, involvement with netflix and itunes, everything else, that they are fully integrated in every other platform? >> look, unless the economy really starts to tank you are dealing with one of the greatest brand names of world.
4:22 pm
when i go to the parks the lines are gargantuan, which is pain in rear end. they went to disney bands which helped them out also. this is great future going forward. the problem once again, they banked on espn for a long time. i think the northbound move of espn is stopped now. it is going to head southbound. depends how much and what they will do about it. melissa: gary, you're fans sir, need one of the expensive tour guides, if you don't like standing in line. that is how you go. >> i have done it a couple times. melissa: i bet you have. david: he lives in orlando. probably lives in the case -- castle there. a few other stories on our radar. iran ramped up cyber warfare in attacks that are related to arrest of an american businessman. this comes after the big nuclear treaty the obama administration secured with iran, supposed to spur a lot more cooperation between the two countries. that has not happened yet.

4:26 pm
4:27 pm
melissa: new developments on deadly russian airliner crash in egypt. british intelligence suggesting this is likely act of terrorism. chairman mike mccaul from the house homeland security committee spoke earlier on fox news. >> this is most likely an isis attack. which would be the largest attack of the aviation sector by terrorists since 9/11. melissa: russian president vladmir putin says this is still speculation, urging western leaders to be patient and wait for investigators to determine what caused the deadly crash. david: here with reaction, general jack keane, retired four-star general and military analyst. good to see you. if the evidence becomes incontrovertible and russians say we're on board, do we work with the russians on this particular terror threat?
4:28 pm
>> this is huge stunner for the russians. we've been in the middle east fighting wars for 13 years. we have had not a terrorist attack in 140 years. there have been many attempts -- 14 years. they have may have lost 200 plus of their citizens. that is huge setback. putin will move decisively if confirmed isis will do this. he clearly has to demonstrate to his people he will protect them. david: i can think of a lot of reasons why we wouldn't want to share intel and other stuff with the russians. what are reasons we would not work with the russians even though we have common enemy in this case? >> well, i think the whole competitive nature of what russia did to come in and prop up the assad regime. they're there to for that regime. their narrative playing at home, david, interesting, we're there for isis. that is who we're attacking. david: this is outside of syria. talking about egypt itself. is there a way to perhaps join forces to target isis or whoever
4:29 pm
is responsible for this in egypt, why not do it? >> it is not going to happen. we're not going to enter into a strategic relationship and go to war with russia against isis. because, of the competitive relationship we have with them and way they intervened in syria to prop up the assad regime. david: yeah. >> it is not going to happen. david: general, another issue is trust. we don't trust the russians. a lot of our americans don't trust the commander-in-chief. the trust issue is putting pressure on his ability to be commander-in-chief. six in 10 people are unhappy with isis plan if there is a plan. what do you make of this? >> yeah, i think it is perfectly understandable on american people's part. fall of kobani. syrian training failure and russian military intervention. american people know a year or ago the president said they we
4:30 pm
would degrade and defeat isis. when we see isis they're healthy organization. recruiting thousands of people each year. it develop ad worldwide following. they have same amount of territory they had a year ago. they're saying what is going on here? why isn't the united states making more progress than what we are making. the fact they're skeptical and have doubts about it i think is a healthy thing. david: their skepticism is healthy. i don't know how healthy it is to have commander-in-chief we don't trust. general, thank you very much. >> good talking to you, david. david: donald trump keeping his lead in a new "fox news poll" but what is the one thing voters think ben carson does better? we'll tell you next. melissa: move over bedtime stories. there is new way to get your kids ready for bed and it is as easy as netflix. active management can tap global insights.

david: voters apparently following doctors orders. in new "fox news poll," voters say ben carson is the most honest and trustworthy candidate. donald trump on the other hand got negative honesty rating but still one to beat overall. here to break down trust issues, steve moore, distinguished have is iting fellow at heritage foundation. brad blakeman, senior advisor for president george w. bush. good to see you all. brad, first to you, can you imagine if it is hillary and donald trump, the two folks who have the most issues with the trust? i mean, that's going to be kind
4:35 pm
of strange for the voters, no? >> without a doubt who do you trust the least? and the most? here is bottom line. let's remember that. david: who among those you trust the least, do you trust the most. i think that is -- >> exactly. but here's the problem. in order to be a candidate in the general, you need to have trust and likability before people ever get to policy. and the fact of the matter is, with the deficit like we're seeing with donald trump and hillary, they're going to have real problem in general election process. the question, what about the election process? no doubt national polls will help dr. carson. not enough to be liked and trusted. people want to see your policies as well. where all the likability and trust can fail. david: steve, i had a friend email me latest insurance letter he got from his insurance
4:36 pm
carrier telling him why his rates go up 45%. after this, this is after a president told us that we weren't going to be spending money on insurance, wasn't going to change our plans. we're so accustomed to being lied to, i'm wondering if the trust issue is going away as factor in terms of getting elected president? >> i was just shocked this poll, the world's greatest surgeon, people trust him more than a politician. a shocking revelation. here is what he say about the trust issue. i actually think it matters a lot. brad is right, you need policy. i devoted my whole life to policy one of the problems for people like hillary clinton, who has really damaging trust factor on her side, once people loved trust, you never go back. i trust you now. that is bigger problem for hillary. so many people after benghazi crisis and email crisis, i just
4:37 pm
don't trust half of what this woman says. how do you get that back? david: rachel, during the benghazi hearings she seemed to contradict herself on couple of points and emailing daughter and prime minister of egypt it wasn't video. saying it was a video. she seemed to contradict herself in hearings but improved in the polls after the hearings. i would argue that trust doesn't matter as much now. >> i don't know if as much about trust or performance. i think her performance was solid. and people wonder if she could be warm and connect. not only was she warm and not only did she connect but she was good on the substance. david: i disagree. i thought she was bad on substance, because as i mentioned she did contradict herself on one issue. i agree her performance was terrific. brad, let me bring in hillary's husband, bill clinton. people obviously knew he was a liar, even after he was a liar he got stuff done.
4:38 pm
he managed to work with the republican congress. that is where people finally judged him. whether he could get stuff done, whether on welfare reform, lowering capital-gains tax, whatever. >> look he had nowhere to go but up. he had divided government as well. he was going for his legacy. did he want his legacy a person impeached but not removed? he was forced into the deals i believe that he made for his legacy. he understood that he had to have accomplishments in order to be viewed favorably. you know what? he rehabilitated himself. i give him a lot of credit for doing that. david: finally, very quickly, steve what about paul ryan? he is a guy a lot of people trust. will he change the tenor of that trust issue in american politics? >> i think he is one of the most trusted republicans out there one reason it's a great choice. i say this. there are two issues hire. trust and likability. one of the reasons ben carson could be good general election candidate, guess what, he is likeable.
