and slow checkouts that started on thanksgiving were reported at victoria secret, foot locker and wal-mart. wal-mart saying mobile made up 70% of traffic to its website on cybermonday and nearly half of the orders were placed on a mobile device. cybermonday sales were up 14-point from a year ago on track to set a record and consumer shelling out $400 million on midnight and 10:00 a.m. eastern. >> cheryl: november used to be a slow month for car sales but numbers could show that last month set a record for u.s. auto sales. the industry is on track to sell 1.3 million new cars and truck in november, that would be the highest on record for the month of november. strong sales are likely to continue through the end of this year and the next year.
