and a political resolution to the syrian war. kennedy: blah, blah, blah blah blah, it's the same malarkey. he then added a few more non-solutions. >> congress should act to make sure no one on a no-fly list is able to buy a gun. >> i posed a question how do you get off the no-fly list if you have been placed there erroneously. how rough spelled to get off the damn thing. the list isn't being used as a punitive political tool for which there is no due process. i'm diewb yustles our lists, mr. president. no ban on assault weapons would have prevented san bernardino. the president called anyone a bigot who should mention islam.

i like cruz a lot. the person i'm looking for is that conservative. and when you get into conservative following the constitution. somebody who can bring us back to the consider of what this country was found on. i'm not sure one person dock that. but we have several involved in this race who are capable of doing it, and we'll see. kennedy: ted cruz seems to be the guy that fills your bill best. he's a constitutionalist. he does a lot of things right. but for some reason he rubs people the wrong way. and because of that i don't know if he can be a presidential victor. >> cruz is an interesting person. he has the establishment of the republican party against him an has the democrats against him. i can understand that because he's rub both of theft wrong way. kennedy: is that a good thing?

>> yes, it is because he's trying to do the right thing. when you try to do the right thing all these people in these institutions doing the wrong thing, they are comfortable with the wrong thing. that's why i like cruz. i want somebody who stirs it up. kennedy: he does that. that's why a lot of people are leaning towards these outsiders. the establishment on both sides very satisfied with the status question. and do you think that ted cruz can position himself as enough of an outsider in this strange race? >> absolutely. i'm not promoting ted cruz. i like him a lot. but he's been an outsider ever since he has been in washington an has proven that. he has bind attack by the republican party more than any single senator i'm awaiver or congressman. so has scene outsider position at this point. anybody that goes up against the

establishment in either party will be in that situation it's unsafe. kennedy: marco riewb yoaf is scene establishment republican, but there are things about him, the people gravitating toward outsiders, they really like. if it comes down to rubio versus cruz, who do you think the american people will choose? will they cruz or lose? >> when i first heard of rubio i heard shim speak at the reagan library in los angeles. i thought this guy is someone who speaks in a way i understand. but since then he has been pulled into the mist of the establishment. people in the democratic party say give me somebody i can work with. and i don't think the american people want somebody who will work with them because they are a mess of vipers.
