$200 billion in cash. >> mike, like it? >> i'm nervous. this company lost its mojo when steve jobs passed away. >> that's it for "forbes on f " fox." have a great weekend. here's eric bolling. the donald doubling down on his syrian refugee stance at the fox business debate. trump going on a tirade after president obama suggested he's putting a face of fear and terror on all refugees. >> it's not fear and terror. it's reality. look at indonesia, bombings all over. you look at california. look, frankly, at paris. that could be the great trojan horse. it could be people going to do great destruction. we can't let these people come into our country and break our borders. we can't do it. >> who's right -- trump or the president? hi, everyone. i'm eric bolling. welcome to "cashin' in." our crew this week, jonathan hoenig, michelle fields and dr.
3:31 am
jessica tarlov. welcome, everybody . terror was the hot topic at the big debate and the senate will decide whether to allow refugees to come here. michelle, i don't know. considering the costs, okay. and new terror threats shouldn't all americans echo trump on this? >> absolutely. look, this isn't cheap to bring in all these refugees. we spend $500 million. over $500 million a year on refugee resettlement. the cost of screening these people is very expensive. then you have to think about we provide job training programs for them. we provide a stipend when they get here, money for job placement. this is expensive. we don't even have money to take care of the veterans and the homeless. yet the government thinks we have money to take care of people who aren't even american citizens? >> i get the costs. i understand that. the real cost is in the potential of losing lives. you bring syrian refugees here and donald trump points out
3:32 am
maybe it's a trojan horse. isis has said they will infiltrate the syrian refugee program. i'm less concerned about the $500 million. i'm more concerned about the 500 people who could die because they are blowing themselves up in high schools. >> to michelle's point, costs should be discovered. i know you think democrats never think about money. we do sometimes. i would say we have the potential security risk here which is why we are talking about tightening the visa waiver program, that it takes 18 to 24 months to vet each refugee. basically we have leaders in the areas. >> didn't james comey say we couldn't properly vet them. is that enough for you? >> it is enough for me . >> so president obama is wrong, therefore? >> no. >> doctor? >> using that doesn't mean i will change my mind. i'm not saying president obama is wrong. president obama knows, as james
3:33 am
comey knows as well. he didn't say to stop the program because there is a risk. kissinger, al bright all said -- >> jonathan. there is a risk even though it is minute. do we want to risk our lives and our kids life with the risks? >> if this is a state of war we should first adopt a war policy. that's what makes things like what trump is proposing, a ban on immigration whether it's from muslims outright. declaring war on the enemy. something like that is a temporary measure. it's something that's a byproduct of a military advance to crush militant islam. what worries me is trump equates mexican immigrants trying to work and be part of the american dream with jihadi killers coming to bring down america. >> also calls it temporary. go ahead, michelle. >> we are talking about syrian refugees. there needs to be a temporary ban on refugees coming in here
3:34 am
from countries with significant jihadi movements. this situation is happening in america. we have a war with isis. that's what we are talking about. >> when you say -- >> it's not the same thing. >> the list of countries that rand paul put forward, ted cruz put forward include our european allie allies. this is a 34 country ban. that the best of the gop is putting out. donald trump's full muslim ban doubled down. he said my great muslim friends. when is the end of tech rare? you're on us all the time. >> this happened in history -- >> figure out what's in place for screening refugees. people say, oh, it's fine. look what happened in california. that person was screened -- the terrorist who committed that awful terrorist attack in san bernardino. >> jessica, would your opinion change if a state of war was declared? to eric and michelle's point why wouldn't donald trump advocate
3:35 am
declaring a state of war to ban muslim immigrants? >> jonathan, we are on the same page. barack obama called it out in the state of the union. he said, vote on it. let's get to it. if you want to be in a state of war, let's do this. >> yeah . >> that would not make it any less un-american to say we are going to ban muslims from the country, that we are not going to take refugees. look at the statue of liberty, people. >> hold on. stay on the refugee s. if i'm not mistaken the two losers who bombed the boston marathon, weren't they also refugee status? >> yes, they were. a lot of liberals this past year have been saying, oh, germany is amazing. they have been praising germany for taking in refugees. i don't know if many of you know this, but did you see what happened on new year's eve where tons of women were attacked. men in gangs of people were attacking them, sexual assault, many refugees and from syria. >> exactly. very, very important point.
3:36 am
germany said they will take in a million refugees thinking how bad can it be? this is just a few months later, jessica. a few months into this program, there are already rapes, attacks. it's becoming widespread by the refugee s on the citizens of germany. >> why does everything have to be black and white. >> what color do you prefer ? >> i love pink. let's make it pink. i don't know. >> how do you make it pink? >> by saying, strengthen the controls we have already. make sure no fiance visas are going to radicals who will come over and shoot people in san bernardino. >> can you stay on the refugee program? that's the problem. some will fall through the cracks and go bad. do we want to expose americans to these costs? >> that's it, eric. you hit the point on the head. we are in a state of war whether we want to declare it or not. any type of ban whether it's muslim immigrants, immigrants
3:37 am
from jihadi countries should be seen as an act of self-defense. if you take the step and deeclair war people say you are being mean. if this is a serious threat let's treat it as such. >> your issue is the declaration of war? >> absolutely. >> aside from that you're okay with that. you worry about what we are calling it? >> that's what makes it a temporary act and something like a ban a temporary measure in the military forces. >> what it does -- >> i agree with jonathan. i take it back. >> it adds congress. i guess jonathan is pointing it out to do this, both sides. >> right. i think the senate will smack it down next week when it comes before them. basically what the house bill does is make it so the refugee program will be so slowed it will cease to exist which is their plan. >> one question for you, dr. jessica tarlov. if there were a refugee
3:38 am
situation, we were going to take 50,000 or 60,000 as president obama suggests he may take. >> right. you're okay living next to a receive g -- refugee. >> i have invited them to my apartment. we have been through this. donald trump saying it's only men coming. the fact is it will be mostly women and children. michelle pointed out that we have women now who have been radicalized. >> jessica, don't joke about it unless you have. we talk about charity starting at home. unlessle you have, i wouldn't joke about it. >> michelle. >> i would say let's remember many of these syrian refugees, many of them are coming here and seeking a better life, trying to get away from a terrible situation. many of them take advantage of it like they did in paris and pretend they are syrian refugees when they want to harm us. paris, germany, united

states? i don't know. i want you to stay with us until the very end of the show today. i have a special wake-up america. the left wants you to forget about benghazi. hillary prays you forget benghazi, but americans died there and questions remain about her roll in the deaths. watch # wake up america today and never forget about benghazi. coming up, destroying the neighborhood to save the neighborhood. more and more big cities are demolishing run-down buildings to re vitalize the area. is this the right prescription for the eyesores where we all
3:43 am
in despair and in need of your tax dollars the government of maryland planning to spend $75 million to demolish 400 vacant houses in baltimore. detroit and other cities, areas in michigan announcing similar plans recently. is this a good investment? le should oh cities spend cash to do the same? >> don't spend it, sell it. just sell it to the highest bidder, not one of the charitable things where they sell to the next door neighbor for $100 a lot. we want the villages to come down here. we want disney to open celebration crab cakes or something in baltimore. you want to bring investment dollars with a low tax, low regulation environment. there is no reason why baltimore could not be macao or singapore of america. >> in the past you have
3:44 am
recommended maybe selling it to big groups of investors, hedge funds and whatnot. >> absolutely. when it's privately owned it is owned by no one. sell toyota the private markets to develop it. >> some would rather see a city park there. >> developers might be interested in a park. there are benefits to green spaces and maryland will be working with public-private partnerships. so the private sector will be involved and that's great. the issue is they are not building affordable housing. it had 16,000 units and now they will have none which got the residents of the surrounding areas who said they would stay there if they could but there won't be anywhere they can afford. google, verizon , big insurance companies have gotten in on the tax credits to work to build more affordable housing. that's what baltimore should be doing. >> jonathan? >> they can afford the housing. they can't afford the government
3:45 am
and the pension liabilities built up over decades of mismanagement. >> most things when they end up the way they look is some form of government ovenregulating or getting their hands mixed in it. the idea of public-private partnership or completely private to sell it to the highest bidder? >> well, look, i think this is stupid to waste this money to tear down these places. there is no strategy of what happens next. they don't know. they said they may turn it into parks. that's silly. sell it to a private company. if no private company wants to come and buy that property, d o demolish it and build something else, there is a reason. maybe it's because baltimore has bad policies. it's one of the top ten liberal cities in america. maybe that's why people are fleeing it and there isn't incentury sieve for businesses to move in. they should focus on what's driving people out? >> this is pred indicated on
3:46 am
detroit. we talked about it here on the show. a lot of that was because of the unions. the unions had a strong hold on the detroit audit industry so people were fleeing detroit. >> it's not like the water is that different in pyongyang, silicon valley or other areas. when you let people be free to invest , keep and manage their money, amazing wealth creation could happen in baltimore as well. >> leave it right there on that positive note. we want to save time for this. coming up, telling high school students they can't chant "usa." the latest p.c. move
3:50 am
switzerland. we'll see you at the top of the hour for more. >> we warned you about the growing p.c. culture throughout 2015. it seems to be getting worse in 2016. penn state is asking students to report so-called micro aggressions to administrators and the athletic association is banning certain cheers at sporting events. no more chanting "usa, usa." apparently there are some other words and phrases that are off limits, too. the wussification of america is spreading like wildfire and the schools are to blame. michelle. what say you? >> it's sad so many people go to an institution that teaches these things and they go into
3:51 am
debt. wisconsin is ridiculous. you can't chant "usa, usa"? donald trump needs to deport whoever came up with this. it's ridiculous. >> very good. you also can't chant "airball." you're watching the game. someone throws up the ball, it misses the rim and the whole stands go "airball, airball." it's the greatest chant ever. it's a micro aggression now. >> i don't know. as the resident wuss, none of this bothers me. why having some fun at the game is a problem. the penn state thing is interesting. i read the letter from the dean. it seems like they are trying to get students to report intolerance and hate speech. >> you're beating the other
3:52 am
team. the other team throws up a good shot and they start talking back going, score board. you can't do that anymore. >> that's outrageous. even if it is hate speech as jessica -- >> jess ka didn't say that. jessica talked about the penn state letter. >> all right. i understand that. that need s to be protected. it's unpopular speech that needs protect ing. especially on college campuses. micro aggression is when you hold up a knife or threaten to hurt them. speech is different. your rights haven't been violated because you are offended or had a bad day. i'm not saying i believe that type of speech but it should be protected. whether you love it or hate it is protected by the first amendment. good example. westboro baptist church in front
3:53 am
of a sole jer's funeral yelling -- hateful things about the soldier lying in a casket who died serve ing his country. it's protected. >> this is america. everyone wants to live in a country with a safe space. that's not how it works. you need to ex press them freely. you know i'm for the first amendment and protecting speech. >> some speech. not all. >> i didn't say people should go to jail. >> i let you have your speech. let me have mine. i don't want liberal institutions called names.
3:54 am
they say kids shouldn't go to college if they want a safe space. i agree. >> jonathan, milwaukee it quick. >> people are called bad names all the time. usually you walk away. that's what should be done with speech that you don't like that you find hateful. >> i have to leave it there. i agree. i get called bad stuff all the time. you should see my twitter and facebook feed. the new movie about benghazi reigniting fury about the death of innocent american peoples. the message behind the amazing film next.
3:58 am
i want to say thanks to the "cashin' in" crew for joining us. head over to foxnews.com/cashinin for jonathan's stock picks. time to wake up america. i got to screen kwo"13 hours" wh depicts the benghazi attacks on u.s. facilities. i found myself moved. waves of iraqis attacking our few men t. frustration of the chief begging for support when none came. it crushed me to see what happened to ambassador stevens and the guys who died trying to hold down the facilities. ty woods, sean smith and glen dougherty. good americans trying to do their jobs. now they are dead. while others fretted about who blamed the video , i have been
3:59 am
asking about the stand down for two years. where was the help? director michael bay depicted no response from the state department and the white house. why were our guys left to fend for themselves s? the film is graphic, bloody and accurate according to survivors. before you liberal idiots start tweeting and facebooking me that it was just a hollywood movie or not a documentary, i might remind you that mark oz, and chris tiegen were advisers and stand by its accuracy. for 13 hours the waves of bullets and rpgs pinned them down and hillary's state department sent no help. think about it the next time hillary clinton complains about spending 11 hours testifying on capitol hill or re call the last time these words slithered through her hypocritical lips. >> what difference at this point does it make? >> really?
4:00 am
and you want to be commander in chief? why didn't you send help? why? mrs. clinton, i hope you have a chance to see the movie out of respect for these men, if -p tonight on "war storiee," one of the most blistering and bloody battles of the vietnam war. >> wasn't that i thought i was going to die. i kind of knew i was going to die. >> 6,000 marines and soldiers fighting for their lives cuttoff by 20,000 north vietnamese hell bent on victory. >> a joung l outpost, the most bombed place on the face of the earth. the siege of khe sahn. that's next on "war stories."
