>> phil: that could be it. i know the market is waiting for some shoot of a drop. when you consider the fact that we canceled almost $400 billion of energy projects just in the last area, i mean, that's an outstanding number. shows that oil production could fall a million barrels. that's a number that we are not going to see from iran right away. but the thing you lack is confident. we are not seeing confidence in the global market until we see some type of stability in groabl markets, oil is going to have a hard time rallying. >> nicole: what areas need to see the confidence first? we see the selloff, we have a glut of supply. not enough demand. where does the confidence even start? >> phil: i would argue that we have plenty of demand. that's one of the biggest confusions about this market, we

please have a way to get the weather warnings throughout the night hours. extensive weather watches and blizzard that are in effect. we did have a new weather watch for new york city area, so you are expect to go see possible blizzard conditions saturday into sunday but the storm is going to get going already as we head into tomorrow. a lot of discussion as to how much snow we are expecting across the mid-atlantic, heavier snow totals, potentially 2 feet but there's a sharp cutoff to where the snowfall is going to be coming across northeast. a lot of debate, we are expecting 6 to 12-inches of know across parts of new york city. then you're looking at very strong winds, gusting potentially over 50 miles per hour, so we are going to see a storm developing here along coastal areas. atlantic city could be one of

the hard-hit areas with high waters and coastal flood washes out here and beach erosion a big concern as well. >> lauren: it's going to be tough. markets in asia, slid in negative territory. let's get a closer look at the asian markets with reporter tracy yu, reporter for chinese television. good morning, tracy. >> tracy: good morning, ladies, asian market had terrible day. stocks fell across the board. that is despite of pbo's efforts to inject 250 billion u.s. dollars to ease liquidity ahead of chinese new year. market turned south after 28-dollar a barrel again and volatility of hong kong dollar intensifying and the hang sen down about 1.8%. move to go tokyo, japanese stocks can't catch a break.

effect till sunday. the washington, d.c. area could get the worst of it. delta, american, waivers traveling to and from. maria molina has the latest for us. good morning, maria. >> maria: it's very exciting and scary for some of us across on the northeast because we are looking at dangerous weather over the next couple of days, it's not just in the form of snowfall. we are looking for potential of tornadoes today and the overnight hours in the overnight coast and also louisiana, mississippi and dangerous coastal flooding and floodings aloss delaware. the concern out here is we are going to see onshore winds.

so we will be watching that very closely. the other concern now is the snowfall and evennizing across the southern areas that are under advisories specially like places like to carolinas. we did have advisories at places like missouri and also into arkansas and blizzard watches in effect in dc, baltimore and also for the new york city area. a lot of debate as how much snow morn areas are going to be seeing, new york and even in boston because of cut off so we can be seen the storm in terms of snow accumulation of places like new york city. that's just to be seen. you're not out of the woods yet. you need to track the storm in the next couple of days. take a look at the snowfall totals that are being forecast. potentially more than 2 feet across the mid atlantic, that's significant for dc and
