snyder said last month he just learned about the rise in legionnaires' cases. nicole: there is new information about explosion tore in the side after jet in somalia that took off last week. they believe a passenger who boarded the plane in wheelchair may have been a suicide bomber. it is believed the man was able to use the wheelchair to bypass strict security screening in mogadishu. the explosion ripped a hole in the fuselage but did not bring down the plane. the explosion ejected the alleged bomber from the cac bin and his body felt fell to either. lauren: this is how stocks ended the day. hang seng is up half a percent and kospi up slightly. nicole: see what it was doing in europe right now ahead of jobs day. we're seeing up arrows for the ftse and cac. both up half a percent. dax up fractionally.

lauren: has been a tough week for stocks. s&p futures up almost five. nasdaq futures gaining 13. nicole: check out key commodities here. we're watching ol' closely. oil up 44 cents. gold is graining slightly, not even a buck at 1158 a troy ounce. lauren: let's look at the u.s. dollar trading against key currencies. peso higher against the dollar. yen is lower. nicole: treasurys are yielding 1.84%. lauren: investors looking for slower growth when the january jobs report is released later this morning. the estimate for 190,000 new jobs to have been added compared to december's 292,000. with unemployment rate holding steady at 5%. this very closely watched jobs report follows disappointing economic data recently that could give federal reserve a reason to postpone further hikes in interest rates. "mornings with maria" will have

complete coverage with a special jobs in america report. that all starts 8:00 a.m. eastern time. nicole: linkedin had good news, bad news in the fourth quarter earnings report. investors are focusing on the bad news as you see the stock. they beat analysts estimates on income and revenue but disappointing outlook and earnings guidance sent linkedin shares down nearly 30% in after-hours trading. linkedin makes most of its money from premium services for job seekers. after hours tumble, linkedin in shares were already down 15% this year. so when that opening bell rings this morning at 9:30 watch for linkedin to sink. lauren: viacom board of directors claimed chief executive officer phillipe dumond as executive chairman replacing majority owner sumner redstone. 92-year-old chairman becomes chairman emeritus. a day after cbs, the company's majority owner was stepping down as executive chairman. nicole: former drug company ceo

and hedge fund manager martin shkreli testified before congress yesterday. he didn't answer any questions but made the most of it on social media. the house committee on oversight and government reform held a hearing to explore escalating drug costs. skelly was called the most hated man in america when his company, turing pharmaceuticals, raised the price of an hiv drug 5000%. when asked questions by committee members skelly refused to answer. >> on the advice of counsel i invoke my fifth amendment privilege against self-incrimination. on the advice of counsel i invoke my fifth amendment privilege against self-incrimination. i intend the follow the advice of my counsel. not yours. nicole: skelly angered committee members by smirking during the hearing and posted a message on twitter insulting members of the congress and calling them imbeciles. he post ad live stream on youtube which he defended the
