to go forward, ben carson has events in south carolina, 2% year and placed fourth in iowa. many folks looking at those three in upcoming weeks. nicole: we will wait to hear more from the chris christie campaign. let's get more perspective on the results from the new hampshire primary from darren shaw. bernie sanders by twice the vote, what does this mean for clinton as we move south to south carolina. >> reporter: most experts will tell you, hillary clinton, we sought a pivot in new hampshire, closing hours of the campaign. they have talked about firewalls for weeks and this will put it to the test but there are numbers that are disturbing if you are a hillary clinton supporter. the lack of trust, and a friend

south carolina. >> minimal to appeal to non white voters. and south carolina, fort from, pretty good shape for the next couple contest. the question is what happens if the establishment candidate start to drop out and consolidate. lauren: ted cruz did not do well in new hampshire but there are a lot of evangelicals, what happens when you start to see them drop off? christine may drop off and then from gets his vote but now all of the other votes get consolidated into the second guy, the second candidate so what happens to donald trump? does he keep that lead or not necessarily? >> not necessarily. that is trump's challenge. he is not the second choice of

many candidates, many voters and there's a strong possibility that the feeling is under 50%. lauren: back to the democratic side, the top candidate when it comes to be untrustworthy and honest is by far bernie sanders and 91% according to exit polls. clinton gets 5%. how do you reconcile that? how does that shape up in the general if clinton is the nominee versus a republican? >> it is the challenge for her. that has always been a pretty strong freight that voters look for inert president so that is something she has to address as she gets to the general election and hope people take a second look. lauren: she is not resonating with young voters, most of her voters are 65 and older, she has a lot of work to do. how about other players on the lower end, carson, carly fiorina, chris christie, at what point should they step aside and

let the gop focus on getting that nominee out there and really giving the message so they can take on whoever the democratic candidate is? >> probably time. i think ben carson will go to south carolina, new hampshire was never std would make a strong play in but for chris christie and carly fiorina new hampshire was there state where they were going to try to break out and they fell short. it is an end of the line for an. lauren: senior elections analyst for real fair politics. nicole: we are seeing overnight selling in asia. look at japan in particular 2.3%, china closed until next week's lunar new year, hong kong tomorrow. in europe stocks looking good, the ftse up 75 points, the cac up 95, almost 2.5% and the dax is at 204 points above 9,000 and that is 2.3 to the upside.
