if we don't start to retake our freedom soon, america is doomed. that's our show. see you next week. we'll see you here tomorrow. good night from new york. [♪] kennedy: happy to have you. i'm watching regrets watch over presidential back runner marco rubio like flotsam and jetsam in the miami river. marco rubio carried so much confidence and money into the race. his attacks on trump have backfired and the anvil is pulling him mercilessley to the bottom of the back.
8:01 am
as marco recently shared with megyn kelly. reporter: you got a little dirty. you got a little naughty. >> that's not who i am. my kids were embarrassed. my wife didn't like it. that's not who i am. kennedy: marco, that's totally who you are. and that's a man who has all but given up. either he can't be trusted or he can't trust his own gut or he's not ready for the presidency. he can see the top of everest at 1600 pennsylvania avenue, but ominous black clouds rolled in and he needs to go back to base camp and share hot soup with ben carson and jeb bush.
8:02 am
rubio is behind 20 points in his home state. john kasich has just enough delusion in his oxygen tank to keep going it's a different story in ohio because he has an astronomical job approval rating. trump has been full of insults for all of the other candidates past and present. remember? >> we call him lying ted. >> don't worry about it, little marco, that's a low-energy individual. i never atangd him on his looks and there is plenty subject matter right there. kennedy: while he hasn't spread knoxous sauce on kasich so far. >> we have ohio where you have an absentee governor.

all eyes are on ohio and florida as the next super tuesday looms. but can trump be stopped? that's what i'm going to ask my party panel tonight. gavin is well bearded. megyn mccain is also here, fox news contributor and a smiling glorious ray of sunshine. so i'm going to start with you. how should trump be going after kasich? >> i think he should go after his face, his looks. he looks hung over. you know when you wake up and you have the below thed puppy eyes? just focus on that and we can have a good laugh. kennedy: did he imply john kasich has a drinking problem?
8:05 am
>> yes, that would be a good move to do. kennedy: what will he do? >> he will mock him for the absentee thing. he will stick to what trump does best, keeping it fun and keeping it light. kennedy: trump is most effective when he pulls other people down. he has don't from scott walker to perry. how much changes for the race tuesday night? >> everything changes. it depend on if marco rubio will get out before florida. it's going to be hard for me to watch this because i want him to get out and save what's left of his political credibility. he wants to run for governor. if you look like you are going to lose to donald trump and ted cruz that's pretty brutal. >> i think rubio is coming in third in florida. i think the rumors he's dropping
8:06 am
out are going to get stuck in people's mind and i think he's mortally wounded. it doesn't matter if his future is in the senate or he's going to run for governor. how does cruz convince rubio to get out of the race between now and tuesday? >> i don't think he can. i think rubio' mind is made up. it's getting uncomfortable to watch at this point. i want to say good job. kennedy: in a beauty pageant that's a big deal. >> if you place in the top five your career is set. >> it's difficult for voters going into tuesday -- super tuesday not knowing if that person is going to drop out. >> it's a subtle psychological game candidates have to play. did you think when he sat down with megyn and talked about regrets for the trump insult
8:07 am
which i had to say i thought were effective and entertaining. >> they were pretty funny. he just said, see that trump? kennedy: was it and admission of failure to say that? >> politic is hollywood for ugly people. these guys are megalomaniacs. we need to get everybody out but trump and cruz and have our superman and batman. kennedy: who is kasich? >> he's gone web's the joker. >> i agree. kennedy: in his mind he's captain america. >> that's how you are when you are hung over. >> there is a lot of per theories out there that he's waiting to be trump's vp. >> that's why trurm is not
