lauren: can you believe the dow and s&p are only down 1% this year? it certainly has been rally past couple weeks. oil at 37p .72. gold at 1256 an ounce down $3. nicole: extreme weather wreaking havoc coast to coast this weekend n louisiana nearly 5,000 homes have been destroyed by floodwaters in the past week. at least five people were killed in historic rainfall. flood warnings remain in effect there. lauren: in mississippi nearly 200 homes have been damaged and two fishermen are missing. more than 3,000 people have been vac wayed. flooding remains a major concern there today. lauren: in the northwest a toddler survives this devastating accident. high winds topple a tree crushing this suv on a seattle road. the driver did not make it. way out west in california, volunteers rescue four people from their cars after heavy rains swept them into a creek. we have fox meteorologist

kurdish separatists are to blame. nicole: we're learning more about a an attack on a popular ivory coast resort that killed at least 16 people. diplomatic source tells fox news that the attack most likely target ad u.s. delegation led built u.s. secretary of commerce. he was leading a group of americans, including college recruiters from the university of florida. terrorists struck a hotel popular with westerners before the delegation was due to arrive there. a group linked to al qaeda is believed to be responsible. the six attackers were also killed. lauren: the u.s. and south korea conducting a major military exercise over the weekend as tensions on the korean peninsula continue to rise. u.s. and south korean sailors staging landing drills on south korea yeahs east coast as part of annual exercises which the south says are the largest ever. north korea reportedly calling the drills nuclear war moves and threatening to respond with attacks.
