anytime soon. hang seng gained about 1.2% after very positive data coming out of main mainland china over the weekend. moving to tokyo, japanese shares followed u.s. and european markets higher and machinery orders actually jumped 15%. that boosted confidence as well. nikkei jumping about 1.8%. reached highest level in over a month. over in south korea, the kospi traded flat as they wait for the fomc later this week. lauren: tracy you, thank you very much. stocks are trading to the upside. cac in paris is up 23. the dax in germany up 160 points. that is big gain of 1.6% this morning. nicole: after four weeks of gains, a little bit of a pull back for the dow. down just three. we're off lows of the morning. s&p down almost two. nasdaq looked at a little bit of green. giving it a try here, folks.
