people. i said this is beautiful. he goes no. no. no. this is just temporary. the real airport is being built over there, and he appointed this 40 cranes building the most incredible airport. and then i get back on my plane, i land at laguardia with potholes all over; right? we're becoming third world. you look at what's going on. so here's the story, folks. so important you've got to vote tomorrow. you've got to vote. if you have a headache -- if you're dying, i mean if you're dying -- if you just went to your doctor -- although that would cost too much because obamacare. you're going to be dead in three weeks, it doesn't matter. get out tomorrow and vote. think about your children. think about your family. get out tomorrow and vote. okay? you've got to do it. lou: donald trump. he's obviously a man who wants their votes. he wants all of the votes if he can get them. and he's not alone of course in that. republican presidential candidates tonight are making their final pitches to voters ahead of the critical primaries in five states tomorrow. they are ohio of course, florida, illinois, missouri, north carolina, all going to the polls to award more than a quarter of the delegates needed for the republican nomination. 367 delegates in total. the real clear politics polling average shows trump leading in four of those states. but running just behind john kasich and ohio now. trump today was in tampa, florida. there he acknowledged the high stakes and the formidable challenges while he attacked

his opponents. >> big election coming up. we could really change things. and, you know, marco's not going to do it. not going to do it. and lying ted -- thank you. i will. and lying ted, lying ted. lying ted. lyin with an apostrophe. you know, we call him lying ted because, look, even marco said you're a liar. lou: trump's rivals aren't going down without a fight, however. >> tomorrow we have a chance to make a powerful statement to the country. and that is that the republican party is not going to allow itself to be hijacked by fake conservatives and people who go around dividing us against each other. >> if we nominate donald trump, hillary wins. why do you think the media so desperately wants republicans to nominate donald trump? they are ready for hillary, and they recognize donald trump may be the only

the post. and a little later here i'll ask foreman reagan economic advisor who he believes is the best candidate to drive our economy and bring prosperity back to this country. our top story tonight, donald trump seemingly uncanning ability to steal the spotlight in the race for the white house. we are one day from critical primaries in ohio, florida, three other states. but all democrats and republicans can talk about today is whether trump is handling clashes between his supporters and demonstrators or disrupts as he puts it at his rallies. fox news chief political correspondent carl cameron in west palm beach with our report. >> ahead of the first winner take all primaries tomorrow, it was a weekend of ruckus outburst and violence in donald trump events. >> thpress is now calling saying there's so much violence. violence. you know how many people have

been hurt at our rallies? basically none. these are love fests. >> trump was pretty amped up in a q and a moderated by chris christie. at one point he said there was not an issue. but he canceled the democrat and it secret service had to circle the front-runner for his own safety. later in the afternoon sarah palin complained and subsidized. and. >> leadership is not dividing people. leadership is not encouraging a toxic environment where we blame one group because of the failure of another or the success of another. this country is about us coming together. >> in florida, marco rubio's in trouble. putting on a brave face. >> tomorrow's a day where we going to shock the country and do what needs to be done and win the 99 delegates here in florida. and it's going to give us the

momentum we need to go into arizona and utah and beyond. >> it would be a shock since most polls including the latest survey show trump widening his lead over rubio. trump at 44, john kasich at 9. trump leads polls in north carolina and missouri. but in ohio, a quinnipiac poll shows trump and kasich in an actual tie at 38% with cruz at 16 and rubio not even registering within the poll's margin of error. ted cruz in illinois today a state with 69 gop delegates that he reminded voters trump for years has sighted with and funded democrats. >> just how rich are you you've got 50 grand and say i've got nothing better to do than to give this to rop emanuel to hammer the people of chicago. >> trump leads with 15 states, one and 460 delegates. john kasich says if he loses his home state, he will drop out. and marco rubio if defeated in florida he will go all the way

to the convention in cleveland. >> in the wake of last week's rally in north carolina at which an audience member was punched in the face, the sheriff's department is looking at the possibility of charges. a misdemeanor as well as their own techniques and whether or not they could have done a better job of keeping the peace. >> carl cameron, thank you very much. carl cameron with north carolina politics apparently going on. troubling new statistics showing one of the devastating affects of president obama so-called catch and release policy for illegally immigrants. a new report finds 124 illegal immigrants who were caught and then released over the past fife years were charged for committing murder after they were set free. that according to data obtained by the center of studies. republican critics are saying -- well, like congressman lamar smith, they're saying they're outraged saying quote this would be considered the worst prison break in american history.

except it was sanctioned by the president and perpetrated by our own immigration officials. the obama unquestionable bears responsibility for each of the deaths committed by illegal immigrants who under that policy were set free under the president's so-called catch and release program. and a massive illegal immigration crisis in europe is -- well, sparking voter backlash. and germany doing more than that. german chancellor merkel democratic union party suffered sharp losses in regional elections over the weekend. the sharpest ever. voters punishing merkel for asylum seekers and illegal immigrants. admitted her party suffered a quote difficult day but german's immigration policies will not change. thousands of illegal immigrants who were massing on the border between grease and macedonia as you see there, today divide greek authorities and broke through a fence,

victims of them have two choices. they can submit to them and meekly just do whatever those protesters want them to do, or they can fight back. and if they decide to fight back, there could be an escalation. lou: dr. ben carson. i mean that's about as forthrightly as you can put it; right? >> i love ben carson with a beach ball shot. it's just, like, wow, been. i mean come on. instead of what have you done for me lately, i'm feeling myself some ben carson. he seems pretty passionate and almost better advocate on behalf of donald trump than he was for himself. in terms of -- yeah, his level of passion, his advocacy and kind of what he has to say laying it out. he's playing it not so safe. lou: your view on whether you see some kind of orchestration. or is it just a confluence of interest that is coincidental. i mean you've got the aclu with the democratic party and all of its candidates

combining with three. donald trump's opponents. and the entire republican establishment attacking him because his rallies are being subverted and disrupted by -- within the person of the black lives matter, moveon.org, bernie sanders supporters, your thought. >> yeah. i think this is no coincidence. the evidence, the proof is there in terms of of the recruitment to say, hey, come to these events, disrupt them, and then there's no respect whatsoever for the first amendment. god forbid if this happened at one of hillary clinton's event and someone suggested hillary clinton would bear the responsibility because that's what hillary clinton says today that this falls on donald trump, this is his responsibility. he's the one that should be to blame for this. legally she couldn't be more inaccurate. but really it's a concerted effort, and it goes to show you how worried they are about

his candidacy him being, in fact, the nominee for the gop . lou: as an attorney your views on level of securities that are appropriate. what should be done with these protesters? how they should be dealt with. humanly, reasonable. but they cannot be allowed, can they? to subvert the first amendment to subvert the will of voters and the audience who venue to hear their perspective candidate in the case of donald trump. >> you're absolutely right. i think they shouldn't be allowed to because we're looking at -- this was a bernie sanders event or hillary clinton event, they should be able to meet and assemble and listen to their candidate and the people who were there express their first amendment right. why shouldn't the same civility and be allotted to the gop candidates? whether it's trump or anybody else? and i think if trump wasn't the nominee, would it look like potential, we'll know more after tomorrow night -- if you think these protests and this kind of thing will stop, it won't because it

really is in a level of escalating to try to demonize and positive tray in a bad way. it's a concerted effort to try to maintain the white house by putting forward these kinds of individuals to and rest disrupt. and you're not allowed to disturb the peace or commit batteries, et cetera. if you want to protest, there's a right way to do it. no surprise, very organized with respect to chicago. and you have somebody like bill who is a professor at meredith there who also. lou: what did she this was the guy who lives in the neighborhood. >> guy from the hood. yeah. from the hood. so, yeah, he shows up and they've got this ground support from the students there. you're not fooling anybody. we see what's going on. you know? and this is about disenfranchising people who are expressing the right and turning out in record droves to vote in these primaries caucuses. lou: kimberly, always great to see you. >> see you again. lou: good deal. and it's going to be a big day as you know tomorrow. >> yeah. lou: can't wait to see that one. br

lou: going into tomorrow's critical presidential primaries a few thoughts tonight on the republican establishment made up of course of the chamber of commerce business roundtable, the coke brothers, dozens of others, the bush family and whoever happens to be in the gop leadership in the house and the senate. they've all made a mess of this election cycle, don't you think? none of their designated or anointed candidates have been able to compete with the political phenomenon that is donald trump. first scott walker appeared to be the standard bearer for the establishment. and then felt never could get back up. and then marco rubio who seemed to melt before our very eyes and the next man up is john kasich? but he's built his campaign around being a democrat. embracing free trade no matter

the cost and job losses for working men and women in ohio. amnesty for illegal immigrants. and working men and women in ohio and taxpayers. but he's in trouble too. who else would be sent in to rescue him but mitt romney? whose taken the lead and attacking donald trump, hitting the campaign trail today with kasich. the tent cals of the bush family also extending through the primary and jeb bush last week meeting with kasich and rubio and cruz. and what looks like a desperate effort to broker power and organize the -- well, and take out donald trump out any cost. president george w. bush last month hit the trail for jeb in a last-ditch effort to keep the family in the race. and now brother neil has joined ted cruz's finance team. but this is the year of the outsider in presidential politics. and among trump's many advantages is the fact he's the only outsider in either party. and all the polls show that he

will do very well tomorrow. he's in position, depending on the turnout of the trump forces, to sweep another super tuesday. what many of the political gurus have failed to note is that trump, a political novice, has set the republican primary agenda from the very day he entered the race. and that isn't likely to change even if he were not to do as well tomorrow as most of us expect. i would hope all elements of the gop, particularly the establishment, would set aside their differences and come together with all the candidates and unite behind donald trump. trump has been stronger, smarter, shrewder, and more energic than all of otherwise opponents. trump aligned himself with middle class americans, working men and women, he did so consciously and quickly. and as uncomfortable as the establishment may be with it all, trump looks to be the very kind of leader we need in these trouble times.

both fox news contributors. great to have you you here. in florida how convinceing are the polls there? >> overwhelming. trump has been ahead for a long time by landslide. it what's california used to be. it indicates that support everywhere for him, and he's going to crush rubio. lou: trump successfully tagging rubio as the absentee senator. >> rubio hasn't performed well ever since governor christie beat him up in a debate. he's not functioning well. lou: there is a poll that shows a tie. others with a slight lead 4-6 points for kasich. what do you make of it. >> that could go either way.

would you think kasich would have better operation there, he would know the state better and have more people on the ground, so that should give him an fejt polls are close. but this idea that what's going to happen tomorrow will determine whether kasich stays in or rubio. you look at these numbers, kasich has nothing florida and rubio has nothing ohio. how can you be the nominee of the party if you couldn't show up in those two states which are required states to win? lou: it is fair to call them bottom feeders? they don't have enough delegates to even be in the discussion. >> i think their potential is great think exaggerated. >> even if they were going to win, they are still at the bottom of the pack. i'm amazed that governor kasich

with a 72% approval rate hog has lived and functioned in that state is dead even with trump. lou: who do you think will win there tomorrow? >> i think trump will come ahead in a close race. >> i was surprised between romney and kasich coming out for four-square amnesty. lou: in the days of his campaign he decides to make that his chief appeal. >> that issue has been discredited so much throughout the country i don't see why he's embracing it at this 11th hour. >> romney is defending all his offshore accounts. >> i talked to you earlier. the other part of this, it seems

to me is trump and these rallies. it's almost as though someone built a bank in a community that gets robbed and the local paper goes after the bank with money instead of talking about the robbers. this is being used to tag trump, to blame for protesters disrupt higgs rally. >> keep the protest sellers outside and put them a penned off place. trump is entitled under the first amendment or any other amendment to come to his supporters. he has a lot of supporters. this a strategy by moveon.org to disrupt these things and get on the air and make trump look like a bad guy. >> he used the right word. this isn't protesting.

it's more an act of vandalism. it's designed to stop the event. not protest the event. you have a right to protest but you don't have the right to disrupt or vandalize somebody else's event. >> there is a strategy and moveon.org is going to stay all the way to cleveland. lou: there is an intelligent and effective counter strategy to this disruption george or owes and black police matter, bernie sanders supporters. >> you have to examine your security and have barricades in area where the demonstrators can go and do their thing. >> i think trump has to be careful what he says. if they are trying to hang you don't give them any rope. lou: that's sage advice. not advice he will likely take. the great charms of the man is

i was saying he's a great speaker within a great debater. now you see he has not been able to gain traction. when he went on offense against donald trump use liesing some of the same tack d utilizing -- utilizing the same tactics it didn't go well for him. he and and lot of establishment backers who prior supported jeb bush are saying why didn't this guy pick up stream and it's a shock. lou: he wasn't ready for prime time and i think anybody who watched this knows that. he may have a bright future ahead of him. lou: these guys recover from everything. he's a politician. trump early on started talking about the middle class, working man and woman and their families. he hit trade and illegal immigration and border security.

he hit all these issues. he's on the campaign trail working his mess waj his supporters -- his message with his supporters. now come these protests and donald trump is being blamed because protesters are going into his venues and disrupting his talks in those rallies. it looks like a complicit arrangement amongst the national media, the democrats, and the republican opponents of donald trump. i cannot understand how they come up with the idea that's sufficient precious, disrupting someone else's first nest rights is the fault of that person who is after all the victim? >> sure you can understand. we reached a point where mr. trump is about to lock up the republican nomination. this is an individual who has touched the middle class and has beenible toll broaden the base,

someone winning over reagan democrats. this is a threat to business as usual in washington. mr. trump is not backed by the global banks and the global corporations like everyone else on the democratic side. we can understand why the republicans have joined the democrats when it comes to race baiting and class warfare. in trump touched a nerve in the american public and it's the right nerve. and that's why it's work. they are talking about trying to steal the nomination from mr. trump which would be devastating for the party. lou: they say ludicrous things like 60% aren't voting for trump here, only 40%. how do you have get away from the madness. i call them bottom feeders.

when you look at kasich with 63 delegates, 163 for rubio and they are talking about the convention. are you have kidding me? >> what was interesting when you look at the last two elections, conservatives had an issue with mitt romney, they were told to sit down, that that was the guy that could unseat obama. but now, you see the same people calling for division and calling for you to rise up. do you want unity behind the person? this is your frontrunner whether you like him or not. he's in the lead and you have got to accept that and no one else is even close. lou: that's a great point. one thing trump has taken out of this. people are looking for honest, effective government and an effective leader. they don't seem to be too absorbed with favorabilities and likabilities.
