speaking with a lot of caution and doveishness. cheap money on the way. [closing bell rings] quarter% hike in interest rates we apparently can't handle it. david and melissa bring it up here after the bell. melissa: stocks getting a big boost today after fed chair janet yellen indicated she would hold off interest rate hikes for a while. take a look there. the dow ending you up 100 points. i'm melissa francis. david: i'm david asman. this is after the bell, new at this hour all of the candidates, republican and democrat alike have descended on wisconsin. we're one week away from primary. race is on with ted cruz and donald trump neck-and-neck in state's latest poll. trump supporters and protersers alike turning out in droves ahead after town hall in janesville. set to begin in less than an hour. we'll bring it to you live as soon as it happens. melissa: blake burman at the trump event. a lot of headlines to say the
4:01 pm
least. you have a lot of ground to cover for us. get started. reporter: all right, melissa, i'll try. if i get 75% of it i think we're covered. so we are in janesville as you mentioned. donald trump is set to hold a rally here in paul ryan's hometown in front of about 1000 people or so here inside of a hotel. this was supposed to be the headline today for trump, getting here to wisconsin. he is the third of three candidates to finally get here. however his campaign was more than sidetracked today when his campaign manager corey lewandowski, police in jupiter, florida, southeastern part of the state, would be charged with simple battery, a misdemeanor in state of florida for incident dating back to march 8th. was that night trump picked up several state during that primary day. there was an incident involving then breitbart reporter michelle fields which she states she was grabbed by lewandowski. there is new video suggests
4:02 pm
might be the case. hence charges from jupiter police. however trump subpoena standing by his campaign manager, so much so that the campaign announced there are two different law firms in south florida representing lewandoski. they feel lewandoski will be exonerated. just a little while ago, melissa and david, trump sent out this tweet. let me give it to you. quote, victory press conference is over. why is she allowed to grab me and shout questions? can i press charges? donald trump clearly fighting back against this one. john kasich, ted cruz they are here in wisconsin as well. as you might imagine they were asked about this earlier today and they were none too pleased. expressed serious disappointment with trump and his campaign. take a listen. >> it is a very sad development and this is the consequence of the culture of the trump campaign. the abusive culture. >> i can only talk about what i would do.
4:03 pm
we probably would suspend somebody. >> reporter: the trump campaign had made other news, david and melissa. they hired a convention manager to help them navigate that potential rough waters here at mid-summer. they also announced that they have set up an office in washington, d.c. to kind of tie up affairs with folks in washington. however all of that got lost today with the jupiter police announcing the charges of trump campaign manage ircory lewandoski. david, melissa, back to you. melissa: that is a lot to digest. blake, thanks for that. david: that last story cast a very big shad dome. over in milwaukee protesters are expected with a republican town hall taking place. jeff flock is there. jeff, what is the scene? reporter: two hours away from the start of that protest. this is wisconsin avenue which already has been shut down. lori, if you're able to show them. that is the milwaukee river that
4:04 pm
bridge runs across. milwaukee's finest shut that down and milwaukee for three blocks. this is the requireside theater. you see milwaukee police incident command post in place. we have fences out here to keep people at bay. i guess it is fair to say that they are preparing for the worst. on social media today, the folks have been planning this protest which is supposed to get underway in two hours in advance of this town hall, all they have been talking about the lewandoski news and basically getting a big a crowd together tonight as they can, as they say on social media, stop the hate. we'll be outside. always a good place to be at a trump rally. david: there should be a lot of excitement. jeff, thank you very much. we look forward to your reports. melissa? melissa: trump-cruz feud is heating up. battle over their wives is getting more personal. i didn't think that was possible but still the texas senator dodging questions after a
4:05 pm
tabloid accused him having an affair. carly fiorina steps in. listen to the exchange. >> national "enquirer" piece, tell on e record, have you been unfaithful to your wife. >> no, i asked asked the senator a question. >> i will comment. >> this is example of media playing to donald trump too. >> this "national enquirer" story is complete garbage. it is total lies. it is planted by donald trump's henchmen. i don't think people of wisconsin or people of america have any interest in tabloid trash. melissa: oh, boy. here is ed rollins, reagan campaign advisor and fox news contributor. just when i think ted cruz's response to this story was so tawdry and tap lloyd, shopped around, can't get any clumsy or worse. he tops himself. this was the most bizarre exchange yet. inserting carly fiorina in there, and also, i mean, it
4:06 pm
looks bad, ed. because when the reporter says can you tell us on the record that you have never been unfaithful to your wife, and then he does this dance and launches into this same rehearsed answer as before and never actually answers that question directly, yikes!. >> well, you have to basically say, absolutely not. i have never, my marriage vows are very sacred to me. melissa: but he didn't. >> he should have. melissa: and he has had three shots at it. >> he needs to take the next one to hit it out of the ballpark. what you do you leave this story alive if you don't knock it down. every single person who is pointed at as coconspirator in this has to basically say, absolutely not. it didn't happen. if that is the truth. you have to my sense, ted cruz is not on behavior. whole argument at this point in time badly affects trump,
4:07 pm
republicans cruz, among women voters. 41% of women voters say he -- 47% of women voters say they will not vote for donald trump. we can not win without women voters. they made obama president by 12%. the way you close the gap you're sensitive to issues that matter to women and basically don't start accusing people of things. at the end of the day, even corey incident throwing down a reporter, also happens to be a woman is pretty outrageous. i would try as campaign manager to get as far as away from this as possible. melissa: what do you think of trump's response to that one? we saw the tweet how she grabbed him. does he get to sue her for grabbing him? some people say that gets the people who support him even more excited. >> first of all that is very narrow group that supports him. may be plurality of those -- melissa: well -- >> plurality of those participate in the process. i go back to the point. you can not lose 47% of the republican women which is your base. you have to close that gap. and i would argue this point in
4:08 pm
time i know corey, i like corey, a campaign manager should not be running around as body man or security man with the candidate. melissa: no, that is true. >> he should be back at headquarters running a campaign. cruz is running a real campaign. trump is running a marketing campaign. corey is along for the ride. he is talented guy needs to get back at headquarters. what happens now he is totally distracted by legal issues for weeks and weeks. needs to get the thing behind him, when you're working 16 hours a day trying to work wisconsin and other places you can't be distracted by legal stuff. my sense, close the thing down, get it behind you. melissa: we'll see if they take your advice. >> they won't but that's okay. melissa: david? david: they should take it and pay him for it. terrifying experience meanwhile for passengers of domestic egypt air flight, a man claiming to be wearing a suicide explosive belt forced the plane to land in the mediterranean island of cyprus. fox news's conor powell joins us
4:09 pm
with very latest onth story. hi, connell? reporter: hi, david. bizarre series of events in cairo. a flight bound for alexandria bound for cairo, a egyptian national told pilot and crew he had suicide belt with explosives they diverted flight almost immediately after landing here he released most of the passengers on the plane. he kept seven of passengers including some of the staff and pilot that were on the plane for several hours. the whole ordeal lasted six hours. it was clear from the beginning this was not act of terrorism, according to officials here in cyprus and egypt. they described mustafa as mentally unhinged and unstable. they talked about him being rambling. he made requests to meet an
4:10 pm
ex-wife who lived here on cypress. demanded that the female prisoners in egypt be released. he made several other bizarre demands as well. ultimately he did surrender. everybody was unharmed. did not in fact have suicide vest or explosives there was concern that the egyptian airport security had been once again released, and russian jet on isis bomb. turned out to be a fake incident here but still obviously had a lot of people concerned, david, about the potential breach of security here here or in egypt and possibly in egypt as well. the big question now is what happens to mustafa. we're told he is in custody here. he will be in court tomorrow. it isn't clear what he will be charged with. it isn't clear what his end goal was but sounds as if it was somebody mentally unstable which led to this incident. fortunately for everybody involved, it was an did that
4:11 pm
left nobody injured or hurt. dived? david: thanks for that. conor powell, thank you very much. good to see you. melissa. melissa: new details on the man who shut down capitol hill when he stormed the visitor center yesterday. we now know more. the suspect, 66-year-old larry dawson from tennessee, he was armed with a pellet gun. police believed it to be a conventional weapon when they shot him. dawson is still in critical condition but stable condition at an area hospital and has been charged with two counts of assault. david: meanwhile belgian officials are asking america for more help to find third terrorist, the guy in the white coat who is still at large. we're learning even more about major intel and interrogation failures that could have prevented last week's attacks. lea gabrielle is here. she will join us with her take in a moment. melissa: florida police charging donald trump's campaign managewer misdemeanor battery. judge andrew napolitano is here
4:12 pm
to tell us what this means for him and the campaign going forward. david: i want to hear what the judge says. could be hillary clinton's 2008 nightmare all over again. details of bernie sanders new strategy to win the democratic nomination. and he has got a shot. >> in the last two weeks we have cut hillary clinton's pledge delegate lead by 1/3. 4:16 pm
brussels with the very latest. mike? reporter: and, david, we show a lot of fingerpointing from the different agencies each saying that the other agency was alerted but still nothing was down about the the bakraoui brothers or najim laachraoui. local media that was the mysterious third bomber from the airport images. whoever he is, the person had to be released, whoever the third bomber is from the airport that man is still at lark. that is why investigators released video often called the man in the hat or light coat or in the hat. 51 leads came in for investigators. third bomb is the biggest but did not go off.
4:17 pm
other two people caught by cctv video both killed during the attack. islamic recruiters working troubled neighborhoods filled up with immigrants out here. one is molenbeek. this is neighborhood the only surviving suspect from the paris attack existed undetected for a month. there is text message circulating in the neighborhood urging young men to stand up against the west and join the jihad. a local councilman became aware of this text message when a parent confronted him. >> translator: he called me and i think it is type of information that is so important that you have to talk about it and report it to the authorities. that is why i did so we can fight back these recruiters and these predators who hang around our youngsters because youngsters are in danger like that. reporter: phones and computers and laptops and hard drives are becoming key parts of investigation as they are seized from houses stretching from
4:18 pm
france all the way to the netherlands. we know fbi is participating in this investigation. one role of the fbi is playing that the dutch authorities or i should sable began authorities are handing them these phones and hard drives and iphones with the intention of getting the fbi to break the encryption of the dade? david: good luck to the fbi. they seem to be only ones doing serious job. mike tobin, thank you very much. meanwhile brussels investigators underfire for their interrogation of salah abdeslam. belgian officials getting slammed for way they handled terrorism investigation. here to weigh in, lea gabrielle, retired navy pilot and fox news contributor and has been briefed in the past how to interrogate people. first 24 hours there was no inteargation at all. the point where interrogation would be most important. they only interviewed him for two hours because he was tired, seriously. >> to say i didn't retire from the navy. got out of the navy. i'm not that old.
4:19 pm
you're right they didn't go into the intear nation. one of the biggest mistakes they made they went chronologically. they're more concerned about the past acts than what might happen in the future. david: they asked him nothing about future attacks as far as i understand. >> right. when i was trained as case operator or intelligence operator, sometimes people you walk in give you information. the very first question you ask is there immediate threat? that is the question it appears they did not ask. they certainly did not interrogate him on that to the point where they gaat actionable intelligence to prevent something that could have happened. david: remind viewers, less than four days later 35 people were killed, hundreds of injured because of the attack perhaps he knew something about! >> right. in this case you have to consider intelligence diminishes quickly with passage of time. what time allows someone who is terrorist, has already demonstrated the ability, willingness to kill people, time gives them the opportunity to think and gives their cohorts
4:20 pm
the ability to act and -- david: you knows these people, this is prime example of it from my perspective anyways, political correctness this is political correctness actually killing people or leading to the death of people. >> you really hit the nail on the head from an intelligence perspective what is most frustrating to people trying to do their job as interrogators, particularly united states, u.s. interrogators, that political correctness hampering them doing their job, when you give someone rights and more worried about rights than security an they have demonstrated willingness or ability to kill people, you have to be willing to look at trying to stop things before worry about their rights. david: insult to injury, the belgian officials couple days after they captured the guy they were bragging about it, naming him by name, alerting his cohorts, tipping off his buddies are captured. you shouldn't have been doing that, right? >> i don't think that would happen in the u.s. hope it would not have. our law enforcement and intelligence professionals some of the best in the world i do
4:21 pm
believe they would be more careful to not let that information be released until they get right information and conduct interrogation. important to note that abdeslam probably was not cooperative but there are other ways to interrogate people. sometimes, someone might not even know they're in interrogation. may feel like interview but could actually be an interrogation. bottom line you have to use whatever technique possible. you have to find out is there immediate threat. didn't happen here. david: bottom line, pc is killing people. we didn't talk a guy they released may also be a terrorist. still going on as we speak. lea gabrielle, thank you very much. melissa. melissa: death by terrorism around the globe, costing thousands of lives, rising 800% over the past five years. plus the investigation into hillary clinton's emails next. why a federal court thinks the government didn't do enough. judge andrew napolitano sounds off on this latest development.

melissa: some legal troubles brewing for team trump today. police department in jupiter, florida, charging the campaign manager cory lewandoski with battery releasing this security video as evidence. it appears to show lewandoski grabbing breitbart reporter michelle fields at a rally on march 11th. here to, fox news's legal judicial analyst, judge andrew napolitano. how much legal weight to do you give this. >> prosecution? i would disit what he said, known michelle many years, having read what mr. lewandoski said, i don't know him and having observed the tape. there is principle in law, in latin translated to english, the law does not concern itself with trifles this is trifle. this is moral equivalent. melissa: and even though put his
4:26 pm
hands on her and causing a bruise. >> moral equivalent of pushing someone away on a subway. you expect a little push and pull. you don't wait three or four weeks to file criminal complaint. if someone is bruised or excessive file civil lawsuit against him. the government has no business in. the police has no business in this. melissa: why were they able to file charges? >> i don't know why they're willing to file charges except that they are obliged to take any case seriously, whether there is any evidence and perhaps to them, this is evidence. melissa: what do you think happens from here in terms of the case, not politically, but just legally? >> cory lewandoski because it is donald trump there will probably be a big deal made out of it. there shouldn't be. police and courts have more important things to do. melissa: more important, let me move you on to the hillary clinton case. judicial watch getting a second green light in freedom of information act overruling government's objections to allow
4:27 pm
judicial watch to gain access to documents. all this means very little to me. decode it. >> okay. judicial watch filed two lawsuits, one against the state department, one seeking mrs. clinton's emails on benghazi. state department said we don't have any. that is what resulted in the discovery of server. melissa: right. >> other seeking huma abedin's employment records because of judicial watch's now well-founded belief that she was being employed outside of the state department as well as in the state department a permission, dual position not permitted by law. each of these cases went to a different judge. each judge independent of the other concluded there probably existed in the state department a conspiracy to avoid the transparency laws of federal government and i want you to take testimony from the people around mrs. clinton to see if they conspired. and if you come up with evidence of a conspiracy, i will, i will listen to your application to
4:28 pm
take testimony from mrs. clinton herself. so this may force hillary clinton to testify in a deposition before the criminal investigation is over that could be catastrophic for her. melissa: this is big deal? a lot of people in the media saying this is really big deal. why? boil it down for me. because she may have to give testimony before the convention? she could be forced to do that? >> yes. before the fbi investigation is over and national convention she would have to answer questions or have to take the fifth. because it's a civil case the public can observe the testimony and it can be taped. the i am maaing of mrs. clinton taking the fifth amendment on the eve of her coronation as the presumptive democratic nominee will be catastrophic to her political future. melissa: thank you for decoding all of this for me, judge. >> you're welcome. melissa: we love you. thank you. david? david: he is the best. donald trump is hoping for his 20th state victory in the state of wisconsin but it might be an uphill battle as
4:29 pm
anti-trump groups are flooding the airwaves. coming up jonah goldberg and former senator scott brown on opposite sides of trump, respond to the trump backlash in the badger state. kasich is hoping to be the establishment pick in contested convention if goes there but does the establishment still want him? more on that next. >> we've had 10 contested republican conventions. only three times did the front-runner get picked at the convention. opens your nose up to 38% more than cold medicine alone. shut your mouth and say goodnight mouthbreathers. breathe right when a moment turns romantic why pause to take a pill? or stop to find a bathroom? cialis for daily use is approved to treat both erectile dysfunction and the urinary symptoms of bph, like needing to go frequently, day or night. tell your doctor about all your medical conditions and medicines, and ask if your heart is healthy enough for sex.

4:33 pm
melissa: all right. donald trump is addressing the media in his private plane in janesville, wisconsin. let's listen in. >> somebody wants over here to be in the picture. >> in the picture. okay. >> okay. >> okay? melissa: apparently getting all set. not that makes it any less interesting to what he does right here before he gets ready. i will let you listen. >> [inaudible]. >> congratulations on the grandchildren. >> thank you very much. >> we're ready to get started i think. it will be very orderly. one question at a time. >> do you want to start this way. >> they said i might have an opening statement. do you? >> no.
4:34 pm
>> let me ask you about governor scott walker. today he endorsed ted cruz. he says cruz is the common sense conservative and suggested that your brandpolitics would not work in wisconsin? >> he stole the word common sense conservative from me. he came up with the term. he never used that term before in his life. look, i beat him very badly. he was going in as favorite in the presidential run. i knew he couldn't endorse me. i never called to ask him for endorsement. i told him a lot of people what was going on in wisconsin, real numbers in terms of jobs, in terms of what is happening with trade. in terms after $2.2 billion balance and lots of other problems. after saying that, well there is no way he is going to endorse me. now i will say, once i told them the facts, once i told the public facts he went from 22 or 24%, down to zero and quit the race. so obviously i would have loved to have gotten his support. i didn't expect it and didn't
4:35 pm
mean anything. >> you gave money to him and helped him get reelected. >> not only i helped him and came up a year or so prior to his run which didn't work out so well, he came up to my office, gave me a beautiful plaque, which at some point i will bring over to wisconsin. >> could you comment today on battery charge of cory louse louse. >> i can only say cory is fine person. those tapes this, is very high-end club. we had tapes all over the place. we supplied the tapes. those tapes to me are very conclusive, saying how could anybody be charged? she was actually if you look at her, according to a lot of people she is grabbing at me. and he is acting as intermediary trying to block her from doing that the news conference was over. it was done. it was finished. and she was running up and grabbing and asking questions. she wasn't supposed to be doing that.
4:36 pm
i think he should, i told him i should never settle the case. you should go all the way. i think they really hurt a very good person. and i know it would be very easy for me to discard people. i don't discard people. i stay with people. that is why i stay with this country. that is why i stay with a lot of people treated unfairly. that is one of the reasons i'm the front-runner by a lot. if you look at that tape, he was very, very, seriously maligned. i think it is very unfair. >> only allegation but what does it say about the campaign? >> i think it says nothing about the campaign. i think if you look at it, he was trying to block her. that is the way i would view it. she is grabbing me and asking questions. she is not even supposed to ask questions. you know the press conference lasted for a long time, like 45 minutes. i was leaving, and she runs up and you can see, in fact there are pictures where she is grabbing -- i could show you some. i have some in the other room. there are pictures where she is grabbing my arm. and i'm going like this trying to get her off. i think it is a disgrace that
4:37 pm
something like that could take place and i'm shocked by it. i will stick by people. i know it is probably not even politically good for me to do but when somebody is maligned so unfairly as that, i will stick by him. >> mr. trump you made -- >> wisconsin, what did you mean by that and who -- >> we have a lot of people are saying a lot of false things. i will make much better trade deals than anybody in wisconsin. nobody can create jobs like i can create. nobody is better on border. sheriff joe arpaio as you know from the phoenix area, from arizona, is with me 100% and endorsed me because i'm the strongest on the border by far. you look at a guy like ted cruz, he is very weak on jobs. he doesn't know anything about jobs. he knows nothing about jobs. we call him lyin' ted what he did with ben carson where he said ben carson left the race and hadn't left the race at all. but there are many other things. look, i don't see ted cruz making it. i don't think ted cruz could win general at all. i think he will beat hillary
4:38 pm
clinton very easily, once i put my mind to beating hillary clinton. right now i have two other people i want to beat. and hopefully i will start that process and complete that process in wisconsin. >> you said that you will stick by corey but will his role change at all in the campaign as case unfolds? >> i hope not. i think it is really unfair. it is very unfair thing to a person. i was watching some of the television coverage and a lot of people on television how could somebody be charged for that. they see it. i'm the one gave the tapes. nobody else gave the tapes. the tapes were from me. they see it and see what took place and it is so minor. look at her initial statements before she knew we had tapes of her, talk about being pulled down or dragged down something to that effect. all of sudden when she saw there were tapes she changed her tone a little bit. i think it is a very, very sad thing. i think it is very unfair to a good person. he has to the a family. he has four beautiful children. i think it is very, very unfair
4:39 pm
to a man with wonderful family back in new hampshire who gets, what, criminal situation over that? in fact some of the reporters are saying, a number of them tweeted, someone said, wow, that was minor -- you get pushed around, you get shoved. she was grabbing me. does that mean i'm supposed to file charges against her? she was grabbing me. that's why you see the picture of that. maybe he was trying to get her off of me. this is very, very sad day in this country a man can be destroyed over something like that. you look at that tape throughout the whole process and you see how unfair it is. that is very unfair. he is a good person. he is a good person with a wonderful family. and for him to be charged over something like that, and remember, she grabbed me before even broke anything. almost look like he is just trying to create a little room, because to be honest with you, the news conference had finished it was over. it was done.
4:40 pm
i was leaving, rapidly leaving the premises. all of sudden she bolts out of nowhere. i think it is very, very unfair. >> let me ask you about paul ryan. you're in paul ryan country here this is blue-collar union. >> right. >> what policies do you think you can work with with speaker ryan on that you would both agree on? >> tell you one policy whether we agree or not i'm going to do if i win, it will be great for wisconsin and for the country and that's trade because our jobs are being sucked away. i have some of the statistics from wisconsin. wisconsin is doing very poorly by the way for those that know. the reason that walker went way down, even though i supported him initially and he thanked me by coming up to my office and handing me a plaque, the reason walker went way down is because when i gave all of the statistics on how badly wisconsin is doing, the jobs that are being taken away, the businesses, the lack of growth, when i gave all of those statistics he couldn't dispute them. i mean they're there.
4:41 pm
>> -- dispute some of those. >> poe lit toe fact -- i can't care. i get statistics from government agencies. they're perfect statistics. i will be during that first speech. >> do you think he mishandled public union issue? >> i will say this. wisconsin is in turmoil. it is always in turmoil. i sit back in different states. i see that wisconsin is constantly fighting, recall elections and, i never seen anything like it frankly in the country. so you could make a case that is a good thing that they're fighters. you could make a case it's a bad thing. there is a lot of hate going on in wisconsin i think it is bad. worse than that are the numbers. your numbers are terrible. i will give you those numbers. i have them if i want i can get them right now. >> scott walker's numbers look at approval rating among gop primary voters is very high. you're going after him. is that a gamble. >> i don't care about a gamble. here is the thing. i think he is probably a nice guy. came in dressed with a motorcycle outfit, like a big
4:42 pm
strong motorcycle guy. by the way motorcycle people love me. my highest demographic. they love me. have 700 motorcycles waiting for me with people. so i don't know what he was doing but he was constantly riding around on motorcycles. if the people like him that's fine. i think he is a nice person. i don't choir whether he is nice or not. you look at statistics what is happening with jobs and many other factors in wisconsin. you look at your $2.2 billion deficit. you look at your numbers. they were so negative, i didn't even use all of them. i didn't know how bad they were until i looked today. he is now fair game. i would have never said this because he is now fair game who endorsed cruz who will never win by the way. he is too strident. cruz has no chance winning general election, zero. i don't think he has a chance of getting the nomination frankly. and he is way behind. he has won six states or seven states. i've won i think 21 or 22 already. i say this. it is only results oriented.
4:43 pm
i look what is going on in wisconsin. i have so many friends in wisconsin. it's a great place. i think i will do really well in wisconsin i hope. i will be here for long period of time until tuesday evening, until the election evening. maybe stay overnight then. if i win i will stay overnight. if i don't win i may get out of there a little quicker, right. i think he have a good chance winning wisconsin. i say this, reveal today at my speech how bad numbers are in wisconsin. how jobs have been taken away by foreign countries it is unbelievable. i had no idea. even when i beat him, don't forget i was the one beat scott walker in prior mays are. there was nobody else. that's why he said we have to stop donald trump. we have to stop donald trump. all i did, i want bad to him, i told numbers how poorly wisconsin was doing. he left the race very early. he gave up and quit very, very early. earlier than most.
4:44 pm
jeb stayed around and others stayed around but he left very early. frankly i don't know why he left that early. his poll numbers went way down, like being leader of the pack to almost the back of the pack. the reason i was able to do that so easily because his numbers are horrible in wisconsin. i will be revealing those numbers. they are numbers you probably have you don't report them. a lot of people think he does a good job as governor. he is nice person. i don't mind. i will reveal numbers. you see for yourself. look what happened to the jobs. look what happened to your growth. look what happened to trade. how horrible trade has been for wisconsin. how devastating it has been for wisconsin. and you're in middle of pack. so we'll be talking about it at the -- >> wisconsin conservative talk radio you got kick around on that. >> not kicked around. >> sykes, i don't know anything about sykes. i think i did well with sykes. >> did you not know --
4:45 pm
>> i heard there -- >> was never trump. >> i heard they were against me. i understand that. you know they're for the establishment and they're for guys that are running. the problem with this country we establishment out there, look at those people, rush limbaugh he likes trump. a lot of other ones, michael savage they really like trump a lot. this particular group i was told they're not going to be very nice and frankly they were fine. i, if you listened to that debate you would say trump won on merits. because it was wisconsin is not doing well. it is not doing well. now people can say, oh that is insulting. it is not insulting. it can do well but we have to change trade policies because we are getting ripped off in the whole country by trade, by jobs, by other countries. >> how is your -- >> a lot of what? >> a lot of hate in wisconsin. how would your policies not increase hate? >> i think it will increase jobs, incomes and profits and but there is a lot of hate in
4:46 pm
wisconsin. i looked at those rallies. that tremendous, you know, interaction between groups of people. i said wow, is this in the united states? that was tough. give walker in one way give him credit he was willing to with stand it. in other way i don't give him credit, but you would like to bring people together. i look at his numbers how bad wisconsin is doing that is why there is such hatred. all you have to do is look at numbers. look how poorly wisconsin is doing with jobs and trade and some other things, farming, how they're getting killed, then you understand why there's such hatred and such fighting in wisconsin. >> let me -- >> you said there is no one bigger supporter women. >> nobody. nobody. nobody is bigger supporter of women than donald trump. >> are you worried that this will undermine -- >> i don't think so. >> some republicans. >> piers morgan and many, many
4:47 pm
people saw that tape and they said, got to be kidding. you got to be kidding. again the tape was given by me because my places are very successful and i have cameras all over the ceiling. that tape was given by me. maybe it was political. maybe it was something but when you look at that tape, i guarranty you were pushed around more getting on to this plane than she was pushed around. take a look at this, you folks with the cameras in the small place, you got pushed around more than she got pushed around. i just can't stand by and watch a man's life be destroyed, be destroyed and take a look at her original statement. just look at her original statement, before she knew that donald trump is rich and has cameras all over the ceiling so that we can protect people from standpoint of security, fire, et cetera, et cetera. take a look at her original statement. the first words out of her mouth about her going down and, you know, pulled down or something
4:48 pm
to that effect. she was pulled down. she wasn't pulled down. she doesn't even change her expression. i looked at tape. and by the way, if he was that way i would have fired him in two seconds. i wouldn't have cared, couldn't have cared less. i look at tape there is not exchange of expression on her face. look at internet and look at tweets, people are saying you got to be kidding me. >> let me ask you about wisconsin and mr. trump. >> response to all this? >> i think it is something that is disgraceful. you as reporter and all of you as reporter get probably treat ad lot rougher than that on daily basis. i have never seen anything like it. i can not imagine how they did it. he has a very good lawyer. they will fight it. i told him he should never settle that case. that is not to my benefit about, you think when people see that tape, and they take a look at that tape and take a look at her initial statement, before she knew she was on tape, take a look at that, you have to see
4:49 pm
it, take a look at her initial statement, sound like she got thrown out of a building. look at that, excuse me. >> she did get bruises. who said they were bruises on that? how do you know those bruises were there before. >> that is what the police -- >> i don't know what the police said. how do you know the bruises were not there before. i'm not a lawyer. she said she had a bruise on your arm. if you get squeezed don't you think would yelled out a scream if got bruises on her arm. take a look at her facial expression. her facial expression, doesn't seen change. so, you know, bruises on her arm. how did they get there? who put them there? i don't know he put them there. in any event i'm sticking up for a person because i will not let a person's life be destroyed that somebody we have on tape and, you just take a look what people are saying when they see that incident on tape. no jury in my opinion, no jury would convict a man and destroy a man's life over what you witnessed.
4:50 pm
>> what about latino vote, ask you about that? >> i think i'm doing great with hispanics. hispanics are great people. i have thousands that work for me. tens of thousands over the years, just at doral, i own doral in miami, just at doral, i have probably eight, 900 hispanics working for me. i have many, many hispanics i have phenomenal people. i just say in the case of mexico we're being treated very badly. we have trade deficit $58 billion and they're treating us very badly. they could stop drugs from coming in if they wanted. mexico could stop drugs from coming into our country. i won the state of new hampshire, i said to these people, the number one problem they have is heroin coming from the southern border, i said if i get elected i will stop it. i won in a landslide, saw saw that. when you look at beautiful new hampshire number one problem is heroin, you have a drug problem in wisconsin, everybody does, pouring through the border, i'm only one that will stop it.
4:51 pm
politicians, no action guys like cruz, they're all talk. these people will not stop it. all he can do, all he wan do is talk. frankly in my opinion he doesn't talk very well. he is under great pressure because he is losing badly. he doesn't react well underpressure. i have seen that. take a look at debates. everyone of the debates the polls said i won every single debate. he is politician all he does is debate. >> cruz challenged you to a debate instead of town hall. >> we had 11 debates, according to polls i won every single debate. i don't think we can be asking anymore questions haven't been, same questions, same people. everybody knows. they know what they're getting. with me we will get great trade deals, strong military, take care of our vets, get rid of obamacare. we'll have a great country again. >> no more debates -- >> politicians, very important i'm self funding my campaign. i'm putting up my own money cruz, what do we have left now, kasich, right? they're getting money from special interest groups.
4:52 pm
they're getting money from lobbyists. those lobbyists have total control over these people. what is good for country they often won't do because their special interest group doesn't want them to do it. with me i'm only here -- look, i don't know i think i'm going to win. i'm doing very well. but if i don't, a lot of people said why do you even do this? you have a great life. a great family. you have a lot of money. you built one of the greatest companies in america. my company is phenomenal. i built one of greatest companies in america. they say why you do this? i do it because i want to give back. i'll tell you something we have a country that is this serious trouble. we have a president that doesn't want to say radical islamic terrorism. he doesn't want to acknowledge what is happening with us and all over the world. i do it because i want to give back. because i think i can give back something nobody else can. the beauty i'm funding my own campaign, johnson & johnson, all these big pharmaceutical companies and all big oil and gas companies support cruz and
4:53 pm
all of these big companies have nothing to do with me. you know, i don't need to do anything for them because they gave me nothing. i didn't take any of their money. >> mr. trump, i talked to the first wisconsin female lieutenant governor, margaret farrell, not a feminist but used to teach sixth and 7th grade. some of her students said some of the things you say about men and women they would be in a lot of trouble. >> i became a politician eight months ago. during my life i had a lot of fun. i had a lot victories, mostly all victories. but i had a lot of victories. i had a lot of fun. i go do shows with howard stern who is much different guy in person than on air. do lots of things. never thought i would be politician. believe me if you got a guy like cruz talking to his friends or buddies at table, if you get a guy like kasich, they act like they're so innocent, they're wonderful people, if you got a kasich talking to his friends and buddies at table or on the golf course because he says that is what he does, he watches golf all the time on television which
4:54 pm
is wonderful see what they said, let's see what they said. >> is it presidential? >> nothing is presidential except victory. is victory is presidential. i did say about rosie o'donnell and i said about megyn kelly because she doesn't treat me right. i'm on her show all the time. she doesn't treat me right. she doesn't put me on the show all the time. if she didn't put me on the shower ratings will drop. i think she is successful because she follows bill o'reilly. that is besides the point. i say things about certain people. i'm open about it. you go behind the scenes and see what ted cruz -- i don't know if anybody saw video he made of him and his family praying, doing retakes an takes, lasted for hours. why don't you go study that video and you tell me whether or not he is real. you tell me whether or not ted cruz is real. go get video they made was released. i think you know video i'm talking about. you get video where they were making commercials and using his
4:55 pm
family and in very, not very nice way and you play that video for people of wisconsin, and you tell me whether or not ted cruz was real. because i'll tell you what. he is not real. and i know people. i have made billions of dollars because i understand people. >> a lot of people hear in this state are scared about -- we have huge dairy farming industry. that industry relies on immigrant labor to be sub seg phuts. they tell me if you round up all immigrants and deport them the agriculture in the state will go bust. >> when you need help people will come in. when you can't get people come in, but they will come in through a legal moat todd. when you need help, same thing up in the wine country in california. when they need help, those people will come in, show they can't get them and have them come in legally. it willing wonderful system. they will come in legally. we have people coming in all over. right now we have 179,000 illegal criminal, criminal immigrants, okay? these are people convicted of
4:56 pm
trials and they're all over the united states. we're having whether kate in san francisco or jamil in california, we're having killings, murders, we're having things, the 65-year-old veteran, female veteran who was raped, sodomized and killed by illegal immigrant. we're having killings all over this country. on top of this we're starting to take over people from syria. we don't know if they're isis related, we don't know who they are, where they are, there is no documentation and trump is going to stop it. now maybe people think my stance is tough. i said we have to have temporary ban on muslims. now people are sort of saying wow, that is not bad idea. when i first said it everybody said no way. when i talked about brussels a few months ago as a hell hole. i said brussels a hell hole. "new york times" did major story on me saying what a horrible thing to say about brussels. then you see what happened a couple days ago. and now everybody is paying trump was right. i was right a about a lot of things. i was right about taking oil.
4:57 pm
i was right about usama bin laden because i talked about him before he blew up the world trade center. i was right about a lot of things. i think i have a lot better handle on this i'm right about nate -- nato. we're giving country as free ride. nato is obsolete, it is old, it is fat and sloppy and it doesn't talk about terrorism. we're giving country as free ride. we are taking countries and we are paying a totally disproportionate share. we owe $19 trillion. that will be soon 21 trillion because of that horrible budget just passed, the omnibus budget. i want to tell you what we have with nato is a disgrace. we could go into the united nations. >> paul ryan doesn't agree with banning muslims. >> i don't care if he doesn't. if he doesn't, he doesn't. i say until we find out what is going on -- the man, wise guy, horrible human being that was caught last week, he was living
4:58 pm
with all of the his friends. he was saying a staying few doors down where he grew up. they all knew he was there. everybody admits they all knew he was there. they never turned him in. why didn't they turn him in? they should have turned in him. the cops found him by luck and go in shooting. why didn't they turn him in? why didn't people in san bernanadino who killed 14 people in california, why didn't neighbors say there were bombs all over that apartment. there were bombs all over that apartment. the neighbors saw a bomb, these people are up to really bad things. there happened to be many bombs all over the floor of the apartment. that is not normal situation. why didn't they turn him in? we have really big problem with radical islamic terrorism. until our country realizes it, until our president is willing to talk about it but he is gone now. he is out of it. i don't think he knows what he is doing. our president is goesly incompetent. i don't think he has any clue what he is doing. but until he is willing to
4:59 pm
mention the name of the problem, you can just, we're having a problem, that is getting bigger and bigger, worse and worse, mark my words it will get a lot worse before it gets better. when i'm elected president that will stop the problem. i have to go. thank you, everybody. we'll see you at speech. david: donald trump is doing something no other presidential candidate can do, giving a press conference, impromptu press conference in his own private plane. gets a lot of coverage that way. of course back and forth with the press was truly intriguing. particularly talking about his campaign manager. question of whether this is just a sideshow that will blow over. you heard andrew napolitano with melissa saying moments ago, it was not a significant criminal case. melissa: making point repeatedly he is one provided the types. he is talking about the incident with his campaign manager corey lewandoski and michelle fields
5:00 pm
turned into criminal charges. making comments no nobody is bigger supporter of women than donald trump. david: going after scott walker. is popular with republicans the we'll see how it turns out. >> that does it for us. "risk & reward" starts right now. >> you just saw comments there from donald trump speaking, from his plane. we want to get you right now to wisconsin. my colleague blake burman is standing by with all the pre-primary jitters. blake? reporter. here we are in janesville wisconsin. donald trump rally, soon on his plane is relative. went to rally. then of course the corey
