lauren: nicole: we are seeing $.14, $44.19 a barrel, $12.82 of troy else. lauren: the chief executive of double line capital on wall street, a guest of wall street we, predicted early on donald trump will be president. >> i have been predicting it for months. i was on barron's roundtable in early january and they asked who will be the next president. they would say hillary clinton. i said donald trump. people gasped. nicole: you can see more tonight on wall street week. lauren: herbalife ended the day on a good note, shares rose 50% on after-hours trading after the nutritional supplement marketer said it topped the federal trade commission at advanced stage and charlie gasparino reported this breaking news, they have been investigating herbalife over whether it is a pyramid scheme.

to safety yesterday, adding to the 80s fleeing the planes, ahead of "the opening bell," the key jobs report dow futures down 11 points, a tough week for the stock market, two down weeks. lauren: we will watch "mornings with maria" today. hillary clinton, the coal industry on the market, that is only part of it. the obama administration's clean energy regulation kill the ones vibrant industry. adam schapiro has the details. >> reporter: the west virginia coal association endorsement of donald trump comes at a time the coal industry is suffering a big decline. it is cheaper for utilities to burn natural gas instead of coal, hillary clinton says hillary clinton is cleaning up

the decline but since 2009 the obama administration has issued new regulation on the production and use of coal that have in turn made it more expensive to generate power even though the price of raw coal is falling. in 2009 the epa attempted to clean change water regulations that made it harder for surface mines to operate in the eastern united states. in 2000 and the agency changed sulfur dioxide standards, making it more expensive to run call, it changed regulations on the disposal of coal ash making it more expensive for plants that burn coal. in 2012 the federal government ordered power plants to cut mercury emissions, natural gas-fired plants from new regulation saying mercury emissions from those plants were negligible. finally the clean powerplant announced in 2014, they would cut emissions of carbon dioxide as part of the global commitment to cut emissions of global greenhouse gases. this was challenged by 29 states

canadian officials began evacuating 8000 people from the area by air yesterday. more than 80,000 people have fled fort mcmurray in the heart of canada's oilsands. firefighters say the wind shifted. new areas are being threatened. >> the situation is the winds of changed over the last three hours, the winds of changed from a northwestern direction and are going southern, eastern, they are moving and we have implemented a mandatory evacuation. lauren: the alberta government has declared a state of emergency because of the fire. nicole: investors awaiting the april jobs report due out later this morning, economists predict 202,000 jobs were added compared to 215,000 in march. unemployment rate, and average wage growth is expected to raise

yesterday adding 80,000 who already fled those flames. check stock market futures on jobs day, awaiting a big number at 8:30 eastern time, stock futures for the tao down 22, s&p futures down 3. nicole: a warning for residents in california, scientists say the san andreas fault's most dangerous -- has been quiet too long. all signs point to a massive earthquake. jonathan hunt has more from los angeles. >> reporter: their hasn't been what experts would consider a major earthquake on the san andreas fault since 1857 but it is coming. globally there has been a great deal of earthquake activity recently, the frightening pictures from ecuador just one example of the kind of devastating earthquake scientists say is long overdue in california. the san andreas fault runs 800 miles in all but the southern section close to los angeles now

concerns scientists the most. in his keynote address thomas jordan, director of southern california earthquake center said, quote, the springs on the san andreas systems have been wound very tight and the southern san andreas fault in particular looks like it is locked, loaded and ready to go. the center released a simulation showing the shaking los angeles and the surrounding area might experience in a magnitude 8 earthquake. in 2008 the us geological survey released a report detailing potential effects of a 7.8 earthquake along the san andreas saying it would likely cause 1800 deaths, 50,000 injuries and $200 billion in damage. since then, many southern california buildings have been retrofitted. earthquake resistant building technologies have advanced
