kennedy: if you are doing that with everyone you will miss more people like that. >> are you okay with people taking numerous trips to and from the middle east? kennedy: what if someone who is a mutual friend of tours who is a journalist takes numerous trips? some big companies are back out of the republican convention. we'll tell you exactly why. donald trump fired his campaign manager. chris stirewalt explains what it means for the upcoming election.

8:23 pm
you have got one opponent instead of 17 and the shoot from the hip stuff doesn't work in growing vote share in the general. kennedy: you have to appeal to a completely different group of people. a lot of people are saying hillary clinton has this behemoth massive organization. and donald trump has to get serious about raising money. will his organization be able to do that and compete with her? >> i don't think that right answer for donald trump -- if he wants to be able to win, the right answer for him is to be the ross pe -- per d the ross p. talk about trade and deficit spending and takes his half out of the middle. i don't think he can do that by being a conventional republican.

there is not enough time to do enough fundraising. donald trump makes an interesting non-traditional candidate. he makes a weak traditional candidate. there is risk except for this. the path he was on before might have taken him to victory but could have taken him to an astonishing 40-state defeat. i think we are seeing the bets being hedged here. kennedy: moving on to other republicans like house speaker paul ryan. he formerly even divorced donald trump. but is the support less enthusiastic for the noodler? >> the last thing i would do is tell anybody to do something contrary to their conscience. this is a strange situation. this is a unique nominee.
