than donald trump? >> i think everybody feels she is in her better interests. melissa: that is not true, or he wouldn't have any supporters in anything. wall street in particular, how do you, bernie sanders ran on the fact that wall street doesn't like him and he is not cozy with big money. so i don't think that is a selling point for her? >> melissa, here is the thing. hillary clinton money comes from more than wall street. small dollar donors, 30, $40 a pop. people giving $1000 or $250 across the country. here is distinction i disagree with the senator fundamentally. donald trump in primary running a state by state race. runs a continental race, anybody who knows anything about presidential elections they merge the party. donald trump for america americans with the rnc. that means you have to worry about senate races, and house races and state representative races, all those down ballot races. that is where hillary clinton will do exceptionally well. not only raising money for her
4:01 pm
own campaign, raising money for the party and raising money for down ballot races. more you raise money for down ballot races better chance she has taking back united states senate and taking back house and winning back governors mansions with democratic party. melissa: senator brown? >> melissa. david: great points but nrsc, raised 50 million more in that last filing period than the democrats did. you have a, you have a situation right now where a lot of those republican candidates are well-funded on their own. and i guess according to richard's philosophy or premise we may not even show up. i guess they have already won the senate. they will probably take the house and donald trump will get crushed. with respect keep thinking that. that is what he wants and that is what the american people want. good luck. melissa: put a pin in it there. david, over to you. david: thank you very much, melissa. stop trump movement is still alive. group of anti-trump republicans are hoping to introduce a new rule at this summer's republican national convention which would

allow delegates to cast their votes according to their conscience. steve lonegan, courageous conservatives pac spokesperson. steve, how would it work? trump, we remember the 1237 number, the magic number he has that plus 300. how will you stop him at convention? >> the issue not about stopping trump, saving republican party from cat chrisic. david: talk the mechanics. how do you do it. he has 1237 plus 300. >> re remind the republican party the convention represents all of the republican party, not just 12 or 14 million people that voted for donald trump in the primaries who many were democrats -- david: can't discount that, you,. >> minority of the republican party voted for donald trump. david: but do you doubt for a moment that the reason that we had these historic numbers of republican voters coming out in the primaries was because of donald trump. >> what is historic the fact that republican party will go down -- david: just answer the question. wasn't it donald trump who brought all those republicans
4:03 pm
out to the primaries? >> and democrats into open primaries and socialists and members of david duke's neo-nazi party. republican convention is representing entire republican party and our party platform and assuring we nominate the candidate best able to defeat hillary clinton. david: donald trump is not -- talk about hillary for a second. we heard hillary lay out a plan of growing the government even more than we've seen it grow over the past seven years. we've seen our debt go from 10 trillion to 20 trillion under president obama. she has all kinds of spending programs for education. she wants to give this, that, the other thing. you're a conservative. as a conservative isn't threat after hillary presidency and her economic plan worse than a president donald trump? >> that is exactly why we're doing this, because donald trump will lose to hillary clinton. that is abundantly clear. watch people like scott brown and others run the republican party over the edge of the cliff. david: did you say when he first announced a year ago, that he would never be the nominee of the party? >> i didn't really consider
4:04 pm
that. david: karl rove and others have said that. >> right. david: and of course he did end up, so i'm just saying he can defy the odds. he has shown he can do that. >> i will predict republican party, he has no money. scott talked about the fact that how he won new hampshire with very little money. went in leading in the polls. he is trailing in every single poll. david: wait a minute. he did not go in leading at polls a year ago. he was far behind in the polls. >> went into new hampshire leading in the polls. david: he brought a lot of people, record number of people out in the primaries primary because he painted himself right or wrongly, as the guy who is fighting party bosses. you yourself, you spent your whole political career fighting party boss. >> that is not relevant. david: you're the conservative. isn't there something simpatico about his message to you? >> what is important the republican will go down in flames. donald trump will lose and everybody knows it. they are denying obvious. he has no money, no campaign, no path to victory.
4:05 pm
david: you remember people saying same he will never be the nominee. everybody said he will not be the nominee. >> he wasn't up against his hillary clinton's massive arsenal. david: he was up against jeb bush $100 million. donald trump spent how much, a couple million and he won. >> dave he is not red running against jeb bush. david: understood. but he was running against a machine. he was running against the entire republican establishment who did not want him and i won. >> primaries are not general election. nowhere near a general election. david: run against establishment and he beat them. why can't he do the same with the general? >> because he, there is no path to victory here. abundantly clear. has no polling numbers. no money. no organization. he doesn't even have a message. what is his message? he is no conservative. he is half with hillary and half with the republican party. he is more busy telling republican party on weekends i can win without you. david: last word. >> i'm married for 35 years. being candidate is like being married. tell your wife you don't need
4:06 pm
you, you're not going anywhere. this marriage with the republican party. david: steve is a pro. could go on for three hours like this. we have to stop him when we have the chance. steve good to see you. thank you very much. appreciate it. melissa: displaced refugees in record numbers around the world. shocking new report sparking fresh security concerns. that's next. plus two days to the british vote whether or not to stay a member of e.u. we'll take you live to london. that is coming up. >> brits don't quit. we get involved. we take a lead. we make a difference. we get things done the heirloom tomato.

margin. melissa: you can catch the full interview with donald trump. i'm sure it is beautiful. he describes everything as beautiful. campaign is beautiful. fund-raising. all at 7:00 p.m. eastern time, right here on fox business. david: we will be watching. meanwhile there are more refugees on earth now than at any other point in history. melissa: wow. david: a new united nations report revealed this. more than 65 million people have fled wars and persecution last year. that is equivalent to the population of france. u.n. high commissioner for refugees said 24 people are forced to flee their home every minute. melissa: wow. two days until the british vote and migrants in france are violently storming the roads, desperately trying to get into the u.k. before britain decides whether or not to stay in the e.u. charlie gasparino, our fox business senior correspondent is live in london. i'm sure he is out there in the middle of the danger. what do you have for us, charlie? >> well, look at this.
4:11 pm
this shows you nice picture of the sun. melissa, do not obsess about the guy in his underwear. let us in before you vote out. that is what we're talking about here. illegals stormed ferry port, u.k. i will say this my unofficial survey shows it is 50/50. some people want to stay in that we talked to, some people want to stay out. want to leave, known as britain exit or "brexit." i will say this, if they vote out, friday will be interesting day. from what we understand, that there is likely to be a bank holiday. at least what some traders are saying. they're getting that word from the u.k. government. also, listen to what joe randle, a trader had to say about the potential market turmoil. >> if we vote out, there will be a considerable panic in the u.k. markets. we'll see wild moves. we could see moves of to parity between the cable trade. so i think it could be chaos.
4:12 pm
>> how about the u.s. markets? >> u.s. markets will see a significant fall. u.s. dollar will rise but rest of the stock markets will fall considerably. >> there you have it. it is going to be a crazy day friday if they exit. if they don't, you know, i think it will be business as usual and i will be back home on the next plane. if they don't, i'm staying out here because this will be a wild scene. we're going to see a lot of stuff in the streets. a lot of high emotions here. we'll see a lot of crazy stuff in the markets. look for heavy trading in u.k. securities. the pound is obviously going to trade off. it will have some spill over effect in the u.s. markets. then look for potential bank holiday here. at least that is the word traders and investors tell us, that the u.k. government is signaling a possible bank holiday friday. if they vote "brexit" or britain exit. melissa: charlie you will keep everything under control and
4:13 pm
everyone calm. we're glad of that. see you soon. david? >> i got that, i got that picture just for you, melissa. melissa: save it for me. bring it back. bring it back. good stuff. david: charlie gasparino, everybody. millionaire george soros also warning british e exit will hurt the u.k. it will deed to a plunge in the british pound. gary kaltbaum and fox news contributor back with us. what got me about what soros said, it would cost every britain, 3,000 to 5,000 pounds a year. now that hits home. that hits in every brit's pocket. i'm just wondering if that will affect their vote? >> money talks, my friend. david: that's right. >> if, if the currency gets trashed, you lose money just on that. but look it, for me, the big problem is timing. you have frail economies around the globe already.
4:14 pm
if you add unsurgeonty of them leaving who knows -- uncertainty. david: here is what brits say about all this, ones for leaving european union. we have to do all sorts of things not appropriate to us that the euro bureaucrats force us to do. there is sort of anti-establishment fervor in britain just as there is in the united states. just as there is all over the globe. what do you say to those people? >> well, i actually agree with a lot they say. look european union, the biggest problem with it, 2countrys with different motivations and different politics. some of these countries have destroyed their countries with massive amount of debt. guess what, other countries picks up the debt and guaranty it. i think some people are tired of that. i think part of it is, exactly what you're seeing right now. so i get it. for me, there is going to be event you alty of european union. greece will not pay money back. italy is in dire straits. that is being plastered over
4:15 pm
with more debt. there could be trouble down the road. this i think could be an eventuality. david: strong arguments on both sides. there is price to say for both with either decision. we'll see how it shakes out. gary, thank you very much. melissa. melissa: wildfires burning out of control in california. new warnings that flames are currently 0% contained. there are two billion people

this is day six and you know it is about 70% contained. what is happening, and why, when you look around here, almost everyone is left and reassigned to the l.a. fire which is typical during an operation of fire season out west. when a fire explodes like this one did last week in santa barbara there is a massive call-up of manpower. essentially they have to create an instant city. in this case they took over a high school. so in the morning this am pa theater was filled with firefighters and incident commanders from around the state, each one assigned to specific task. where do people sleep? pretty much anywhere they can. this morning we saw people near the beach. sometimes next to their crew vehicle. in this case, a ball field. they have taken over classrooms, air operations, safety, mead rollgy, fire behavior. public information. how do you feed 2,000 people? it's a 24/7 operation as is the fire. this is the mess tent. seven container trucks are here with nothing but food.
