>> the big story has been the heat in yet again today as we head into the afternoon and evening as temperatures climb into the 90s in triple digits for sanity from the eastern u.s. to parts of the plains and across the southwestern u.s. out there looking at a high temperature forecast to reach of 110 degrees in phoenix. one of three delta and across the eastern u.s. 97 degrees in raleigh, north carolina. factor in with the heat index values will be very hot out there. they will feel at 104 degrees in philadelphia. one of five in raleigh and it's hot out here over the next couple of days as well. you'll notice this little bit of an improvement of specific eastern u.s. temperatures a little bit closer to other spirits though the middleman is out there as far north as new york city. expect the heat to be a big story from the eastern u.s. for several more days. the mid-atlantic and extending
