to vote for someone who might not throw national security off by her off-the-cuff comments. kennedy: at least one of them mathematically will be your president. is there anything useful about what they are doing? >> no. it's like offensive to me as a writer when he says you make a deal with the devil. hillary is the devil. and that's of course the sad exclamation narkt tweets. there is not much to do. i'm not going the vote for either. but i do think another gloss on would you just said is do you want the sneaky liar, or the crazy thrier? sneaky versus crazy might be our election. kennedy: exactly.

not trusting her. kennedy: program on that server are only supposed to be read on a alpha numeric code on a closed system. warren buffet taunted donald trump over his refusal to show his tax return. buffet offered to show his if trump would do the same. what do we make over this battle of the billionaires. do you think it's important for somebody running for president to release their tax return? >> i do only because it's based on expectation. i think in general too much is made of it. there was a gradual rollout and it became a kerfuffle. there is usually nothing in there, oh, my god, they made their money on crack. that's not going to show up in the tax return.

but the idea that there is going to be a smoke gun in there is probably not right. but the refusal to adhere to standard operating procedure when you are running a national campaign is worth noting. kennedy: it allows people to create conspiracy theories that might not exist. because he hasn't released his tax return people are saying he has ties to the mob and russia. and we would know this for sure if he released his tax returns. isn't it better to release it? >> i don't give a damn about trump's tax returns. i don't know why anyone cares about this. do i suspect they show's not as rich as he says. yes. do i think they will show minimal charitable donations? yes. >> the main point especially after the convention. you see people harden on both sides of the aisle who they are

going to choose to vote for. and i don't think whatever is revealed in the tax returns would turn the strong voters off. it's just not going to. kennedy: is there enough that can be made. obviously people dead set against them, it's not going to change their hearts. >> the undecideds, the independents, those economic all hurting, those who disavowed party affiliation. >> if the texas returns shows he's less rich than he's claiming that would turn into a big story. kennedy: thin would stop writing him letters asking for money. coming up millions of americans are student loan debt are avoiding those pesky phone calls demanding payment. will the left bail them out? is that what they are waiting for?

kennedy: over 7 million americans are in default on their student loans. many refuse to make payments at all. hillary clinton's plan will provide free tuition to any family making $85,000 a year. with an estimated price tag of

$85 billion. let's ask the party panel. kirsten, i'll start with you, there are a lot of millennials who entered the workplace and they want what you say is instant gratification. >> that's the culture millennials have grown up with. they want to go to college immediately rather than taking a couple years off and saving money. as soon as they graduate they want to have the very best job. and none of that is realistic. to say i'm not going to pay my student loans because i don't want to deal with them. now when they are faced with this escalating debt, it's becoming a major problem that tack pairs will have to bail them out. if they do, that might be the on solution, but it's treating what the symptoms are. it's not treating the roots. kennedy: it doesn't deal with

the root cause at all it's very expensive. there is no such thing as free tuition. but telling a group of people, it's okay to default on your debt because you have good intentions. there is something wrong with that it seems. >> they are defaulting to the federal government. we switched to a system where the federal government is the lender for these student loans. when you borrow money from somebody and you don't have the money to pay it back, you avoid them. people now have that relationship with the federal government and that's not healthy it's not a good outcome to say ebb owes the federal government cash, it cannot be foregiven and it cannot be discharged in bankruptcy. that's didn't than housing debt. >> they never should have gone the into the business of doing student loans in the fir place

and it contributes to rising tuition costs. kennedy: you have massive administrator's fees and those salaries are on growing. there is no free market to keep schools or encourage schools to keep tuition costs down. they keep raising them because they know there is a guarantee, a pot of federal money where student will dip in. >> that's common sense. you so you throw that out the window and not talk about it. i'm a little hurt you didn't go to me for the millennial perspective. i am an honorary member of every generation. i was reborn after 1980. i think it's a little unfair to blame this on millennials. he millennial wants to go to college and go to the best school. i think he generation has wanted
