tmz release photographs of a brick wall being built around obama's new home in washington d.c.. no. really? didn't he say somebody would be imprisoning this country if we built walls and now he is imprisoning himself. there are some who would like to see him do so but there it is. earlier today mr. trump took to twitter to slam the national left-wing media for their reporting on his plans to build that wall on our border. trump tweeting quote the dishonest media does not report that anybody is building the great wall for sake of speed will be paid back by mexico later. so there, turning a former senior adviser to uk prime minister david cameron, steve hilton. steve, it's good to have you with us. i suspect david cameron wishes he had about 30 million followers on twitter and facebook so that he could have gotten through the noise of the

mainstream media, the right-wing media talking about the fact that he would have the temerity to question the product of our access to intelligence services as if he was working, as if he were working for them not pay for them and the nation. what do you think about? >> it's just told -- hilarious. these are the same people who work completely up in arms about the intelligence agencies getting it wrong in iraq and his weapons of mass destruction. he reminds me of again at that saga when i was in uk the dossier the sexing up of intelligence and to be skeptical of intelligence reports. i think it's exactly the most reasonable thing that you would want a leader to be doing and making sure there is concrete evidence, solid evidence to at least see what happens when intelligence is politicized.
8:40 pm
that's what happened in iraq and it's very clear, there's a very clear connection between the conclusions that there were intelligence reports in the political and that they would serve which is to help delegitimize the president-elect. >> information campaigns are nothing new in democracies and i think particularly of all of the misinformation that was used to attack the very idea of leaving the european union and part of the uk brexit and now we are watching them slow walk by theresa made the new prime minister and the establishment is working to make sure this does not happen at all soon despite all of the news since brexit has been not only positive for the uk but immensely so. are they going to be able to slow walk and perhaps even stop
8:41 pm
brexit? >> well if they are certainly trying. look what happened to the people who voted against the establishment and the establishment couldn't cope with the results and try to undermine it in every way. remind you of anything? that happened over six months ago now and all you are seeing is the european union that you're received particular trying to make it as difficult as possible for the will of the people to be implemented. the reason is very simple. if britain leads in a straightforward way they want to teach other countries that if you try to do this you will get punished. the real answer is theresa may very quickly to bring some good news about the economic benefits of leaving the eu and that brings us to the u.s. because if you remember during the brexit campaign part of that misinformation effort actually came from president obama himself who said -- lou: he would never metal.

treatment and the addressing of the issues need to take place. >> let me ask you both, the fbi and i personally believe there should be a standard for anyone who walks in and mentally suggest they would be a threat to public safety that you would do what appears to have happened here, put them into a facility to evaluate them and ultimately treat them but as veterans they should be in my opinion given every possible extra care. what do you think, chad? >> well you know i'm the veteran as well. i served for deployments and i also think are there challenges within the va getting mental health programs to those veterans but all too many times like in the dallas shooting an individual had one deployment to kuwait and claimed ptsd.
8:59 pm
