>> call h&r block. >> too sleepy for me. >> a lot of people need it out there that is it for "forbes on fox", what wonderful weekend keep it right here number one business continues with eric and "cashin' in". cas. >> while you are watching us on cashin in, who's watching you. wikileaks released document saying the cia can listen to conversations through smart tvs even when the tv is turned off. apparently the government also has tools to hack into other everyday devices like phones and cars. should a company selling us these devices guarantee or privacy or can they guarantee or privacy? welcome to cashing in. welcome everybody.
7:31 am
it's very difficult for companies to guarantee or privacy. what is going on here? should we be worried. >> of course we should be concerned. it's no wonder you have the technology giant acquiring e cyber security firms. you have microsoft acquiring to israeli security forms as well. i think when it comes to the matter of this issue, security experts have said it's not if you're going to be hacked but when you're going to be hats. they really can't guarantee the fact that you are not going to be hacked. that's reality. >> forget the guarantee, are we concerned about the government snooping in when we think were just watching tv or when were not. >> i'm really conflicted on this. on one hand i want the jack powers of the world to have all this technology so they can get the bad guy. on the other hand, over the last few months, i've had my trust in the ability of these agencies do not use these tools against the american people or whatever and that you wrote it. by the way, just this morning,
7:32 am
he was on fox news saying he has proof that he had his phones illegally tapped will he was a congressman. if the congressman can have this happen, it can happen to anybody. i guess it's up to the intelligent agencies to restore our faith and i think the way they can do that is by finding the leakers, prosecuting them, making examples of them so we can have faith in our institution. >> you and i may be on the same page. i'm a fan of edward snowden because we found out he was data mining every american without a court order. i'm concerned about this. >> i'm not a fan of edward snowden because i think he should come back and face the music. i'm starting to wonder is it really broken or can i just not watch it.
7:33 am
i agree with everything mercedes said that there has to be some sort of balance between protecting our privacy and giving government and intelligence agencies the tools to get the bad guy. >> that's an easy thing to say. there has to be, where is the balance.ç >> here's the problem. we developed the technology and then we have technology to supersede that. it's going to be constant game to perpetuate that. to some extent i don't know there is a balance you can create. >> lisa, two things scare the heck out of me. when the fbi director james comay said he puts tape over his camera on his computer and then you see mark zuckerberg, the
7:34 am
founder of facebook doing the same thing. these are people who should have the best security and they are worried about people hacking into their computer. >> it's very scary. i think we should also be concerned that the information and the way the cia conducts the business is now out there. that foreign government can figure out now, based off the information that has surfaced, some of the things the cia has done and look into what they're doing. if the government is snooping, what about the technology companies? there's been multiple companies of samsung smart tvs being able to watch you, being able to watch individuals that have the software. there's a court case within arkansas murder within amazon echo the fact that we know amazon is storing this data on the server. cannot not be hacked? what are they doing with the
7:35 am
information. the fact that there's also been information out that labor can track your location after you get out of the car. we are concerned about the government snooping, what about these technology companies themselves. what are they doing with that data. where's that being held? >> let's talk about how this information got out. where did this come from? who leaked this? i'm sure there's a massive investigation going on. if there are leaks of this caliber, we have to be concerned about our security. >> we need to be concerned about the fact that wikileaks has so much power in exposing so much information whether it was from hillary clinton's campaign or the cia. this is our national security at risk. the fact that they have released this information and bad actors can figure out how to hack into our smart phones and into american systems is very concerning. >> but we are not concerned with wikileaks as we should be with the actual leakers. >> that's right.
7:36 am
>> so it's the mall within the cia, fbi, from these intelligence services. this isç a huge problem. this is breaking the law and they have to come to the bottom of this. this is why an investigation is critical. >> are you okay with wikileaks posting critical information. >> absolutely not. i think julian assange, going back to the hillary campaign, they decided, for no reason whatsoever, to release raw data. >> so they shouldn't -- >> luck they can do whatever they want, but the reality is the responsible thing is not to jeopardize people's lives. >> this is a big conversation. the first amendment, should they be allowed to release the document. >> he's not an american citizen, he's in ecuador so this doesn't really apply to him. >> the website that release
7:37 am
leaks, they're just reporting what they're being given, they're not big hacker. >> yes, the issue is not so much julian assange although i wish nothing but bad stuff for him but the bad actors are the people who had the faith and trust of the government placed in them and gave it to julian assange through a cut out or directly through other means. let's be very clear. julian assange never releases information to the chinese or the russians or anyone else who are bad state actors. he releases stuff in the west that affects democratic institutions and democratic countries. that tells you something about his motivation. he's not releasing kremlin data. he's releasing it from washington. that's what's so concerning. >> there's a good chance that a conservative might win.
7:38 am
there are political people within those intelligence organizations. we need to get them. there are proper avenues for whistleblowers. >> is snowden the whistleblower. >> i guess, but the way he did it was treasonous. there is a proper way to do it. there are members of congress, rand paul, my own husband who care about privacy issues who would get to the bottom of this in a way that doesn't put our intelligence and human beings in danger. >> my concern here is if snowden was not allowed to do what he did, we would never know about the datingç mining -- data ming by the officials.
7:39 am
>> we are having cyber security concerns as well as hacking. having these secrets and the way the cia does their business is not good for americans and it's not good for the country. i think it's a joke to give technology companies advance notice of this to try to protect them when they are also collecting data on so many americans in various ways and where we also talked about that. >> we will leave it right there. as vice president mike pence pushes to repeal and replace, lots of bickering going on in congress. dear predictable, there's no other way to say this. it's over. i've found a permanent escape from monotony. together, we are perfectly balanced. our senses awake. our hearts racing as one. i know this is sudden, but they say...if you love something set it free. see you around, giulia

tort reform so the problem that we are facing is the fact that republicans don't have a filibuster proof majority so they have to use the budget reconciliation process so there is very strict limitations and what they can do with that process. they can include things like selling across state lines and tort reform. i don't think this reconciliation bill and whatç republicans do move forward is going to be perfect. it won't include everything that republicans would like to see get done. she brings up a good point that this is a budget reconciliation. you are limited to what you can do with this bill. when you look at what we are looking at in phase one, the health savings account is very beneficial. it allows them to decide where they want to spend the healthcare dollars. it does bring up the fact that individuals who are not on employer-based insurance can

have to figure out where to spend their money and what plan they want to buy. >> my problem is paul ryan presented this plan. the republicans have had six years to put something together. paul ryan also told donald trump he was going to deliver the freedom caucus, and he didn't. >> i need to understand this is a legislative process. there will be amendments to this bill. the conservatives are making their case but i know for example you have congressman walker who is from the republican study committee, there are over 100 conservatives who basically say, look if we fret freezer medicaid expansion and go with a refundable tax credit we can be on board. this will be a negotiation process, something trump is familiar with. >> julie, i won't allow anyone to call this trump care because

it's not. >> why not. >> he is a dealmaker. he will make deals. this is nothing along the lines of what he ever wanted. i'm more in line with the freedom caucus but i think this is a terrible bill and i've advised and said don't sign on to this bill. >> i love you. i can agree more. this is a terrible bill but the day the president signs a spill it will officially be trump care. the problem for the president is, he has to make a choice. either he goes along with you and the freedom caucus and therefore probably not get any bill passed in the senate, forget about 60 votes for the filibuster, he may night have a majority design because he has senators saying they won't sign on to it, or he will have to go along with what paul ryan was suggesting in which case you and others will not go along with it. for six years we've been saying we want to repeal this. >> agreed. for election cycles.

they need to have something that's acceptable to everyone. here's my thought. i know this sounds crazy, it's crazy to talk in the circles, but this new healthcareç prop proposal, bring in the tax reform. do taxes now and come back to obamacare later. honestly it's the only way to get this done. otherwise it feels like the jamming it through the way nancy proceeded in 2009. >> absolutely not. listen. as paul ryan said, this will be the last chance they have to turn this vote around in terms of obamacare. this is the last chance. what is it you don't like? is it the refundable tax credit. >> i'm looking for one thing that makes it cheaper for the american public. for the general public, this does none of the above. you know who has the best deal in this bill, the insurance company. i have a hard problem with that. >> i know the freedom caucus is
