stien in which he botched the hillary clinton investigation. however, during nbc interview, the president said he would have fired comey regardless of that memo. he also described comey as a s showbo. nicole: utah senator made a formal pitch to white house officials including vice president mike pence that they should try to appoint judge merrick garland to ap-- replace comey. lauren: last summer comey testified on capitol hill, that's a decision not to pursue criminal charges against clinton and her team from mishandling classified information was unanimous on the case but the new acting fbi director andy

huma abdib were also on anthony weiner's computer. huma abedin didn't live up to her end of the bargain and though it's null and void and we will move forward with the investigation again. nick anything should these people be nervous, the statute of limitations has not run out; is that correct? >> if i were them i would be very nervous because the investigation was so slip shot, why wasn't a grand jury impaneled. why was cheryl mills that was top adviser, she was the one determining what was personal and what was work related and could be turned related to work. she was also a target of that investigation. i would never allow two suspects to sit in the same

interrogation. what you're looking for as investigators is those mistakes to show a story that was concocted. lauren: we have to see who president trump nominates as fbi chief, any thoughts who might be in line and best suited? >> we heard the names chris christie, rudy giuliani, giuliani old nypd commissioner. he's 69, i don't know if he would do it. he's a bipartisan figure. he's really a legend -- lauren: merrick garland? >> terrible idea. i can't imagine somebody who has more beef to this administration than anybody. nicole: he wants to know if president trump sty -- spied on

nicole: will democrats get a special prosecutor? >> they won't unless they take back congress and start to subpoena enough documents to make life unpleasant for the trump administration. i mean, no, a special prosecutor would take what is a legitimate investigation and blow it up into a political circus. what saves law enforcement agencies is a whole al gsmia of procedures, precedents, organizations like the justice department and the fbi have on the books so every step of an investigation their next move has some precedent. they know where they are going next. trouble with the special prosecutor is he's a law onto m or herself. they make it up as they go along and a little bit that's what james comey got fired her doing. lauren: i get it, andrew, some representative are calling for a special prosecutor too and also whose decision is it, is it congress or the deputy ag that appoints the special prosecutor in.

>> it would be the justice department. >> the administration could nominate people to but now it's ad hoc decision. it would definitely be their call. nicole: how is the trump campaign, the whole trump administration going forward? >> well, look, you know, i think this -- there's no smoking gun yet. there's no evidence of collusion. my personal view is that the evidence of people whose votes were swayed by what was in podesta emails is extremely small and i think genuinely they see as political weapon to hurt the administration with. yeah, go ahead, please. lauren: blake berman report that had donald trump was told three times by jim comey that he was not under investigation, why won't this russia story go away? >> political weapon. regardless of -- regardless of

launch on a mission. in the words of one pilot i spoke with, inherently risky business, you may not come back each time you take the airborne but the navy and marine corps should give you a better chance. episodes is when a pilot becomes impaired with symptoms that jeopardize their flight, some say it feels like being intoxicated, they are generally caused when life support systems fail in the plane causing oxygen loss, according to record, at least three pilots have died in crashes where this may have been a cause and four f-18's destroyed. the pilots i spoke with the alarming situation is getting worse and they are seeing firsthand how its affecting the mind set of our military elites, they all echo the sent men of a pilot who faced this emergency and said, quote, when i go
