lauren: do think the london terror attack would overshadow trumps domestic agenda. saying that it might have something that luke olmert said to fox news i think yesterday. fired up saying what these terror attacks do is strengthen his base at the middle of the country elected donald trump because he saw another terror attack in a senate fight against it. does this strengthen him? >> the president has always got to stand with our allies come against enemies and for the people of the united states of america. it does have the rallying component good for the administration. the word for the week is focus. there are so many things coming up in this week. most administrations get into trouble because of their lack of focus. they regularly tout ronald reagan as the great communicator. it wasn't just because he could give a great speech. he knows he could weigh in on just a couple of issues.

if the president can be disciplined and focused on the core of his agenda, to see him get momentum. if he's distracted by every shiny object in every crisis or self-inflicted wound that comes then, that is where they will be in trouble. he can get some things done but it requires a different level of focus. just because he could weigh in on anything through twitter doesn't mean he should. cheryl: if you think about it though, infrastructure spending is the one thing we should have bipartisan support on. everybody loves to spend money especially in their states. but there is concern he's going to have a tough road on this one. why about things with infrastructure? >> at the complex issue. affects every single state and district differently. republicans have the majority. if they don't do it midterm elections will have to look at that. i think you'll get some traction on appearances and inept
