not vote for the bill in current form. >> we are open to negotiation but we want to bill to look more like a repeal. we are afraid that when we read the bill that it actually looks like a reiteration or keeping of obamacare. >> i've made very clear that i want to get to yes and the way to get to yes is fix the underlying problems, lower premiums and i will happily be part -- lea: president trump expressing optimism in an interview on "fox & friends". >> there are four good guys and four friend of mine. i think they will probably get there. we have to see. health care is a very difficult situation. if you look. the clintons tried to get it and after years and years couldn't do it. obamacare now failed, obamacare is a disaster and we are trying to do something in a very shift. lea: more of that on "fox & friends" and senate minority leader chuck schumer criticizing

republican measure. >> the president said the bill needed heart, the way this bill cuts health care it's heartless. president said the house bill was mean, the senate bill maybe meaner. cheryl: former president obama saying, quote, the senate bill unveiled today is not a health care bill it's a massive transfer of wealth from middle class and poor families to the richest in america. meanwhile the congressional budget office says it should have an estimate of the price and impact of the plan by early next week. tell you what, u.s. health care stocks posted sharp gains to the upside yesterday after the senate gop bill was announced, many of the stocks actually hitting all-time highs in that sector. lea: a group of democrats meeting behind closed doors on capitol hill to discuss the party's future after a string of special election losses that included defeat in georgia.

some of them say the party back to majority cannot happen with pelosi. pelosi defending leadership and job during a press conference listen. >> i feel confident. my timing is not about them, my comments about the issues that we are here to fight and we are fighting right you. we are paving a way to a new generation of leadership and i respect any opinion that the members have, but my decision about how long i stay is not up to them. lea: she has been around. 77-year-old pelosi has been leading the house since 2003. cheryl: long time. a lot of folks want to see her go. overseas now to north korea, they have tested a new rocket engine. u.s. officials say the engine could potentially be used on an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the u.s. mainland. this comes after washington asked beijing to put more

economic and diplomatic pressure on north korea to help rein in north korea. that meeting is going to be at the white house next week. lea: we are waiting for that. am stone is charging advertisers a hefty price tag for privilege to run ad on new nfl streaming service. herl chrl we have tracee carrasco with all the details on this. tracee, good morning. tracee: it sure is. amazon is paying $50 million to live stream thursday night games to prime customers. amazon is looking to charge advertisers $2.8 million for packages that include 30-second spots during those games. for each game amazon can sell estimated 10-second spots, ad packages are significantly higher than 550,000 to $590,000 that nbc and cbs charge for ads.

both of those networks will broadcast five games each this season. now under the terms amazon is offering buyers may run throughout the football season. live stream games will only be available to subscribers of amazon 99 per year prime service and seen first high profile push. streaming nfl games is latest move of amazon to get customers to website in order they will subscribe to prime and spend more online. big question, how many people will watch live stream games online? analyst estimate that number about 50 million people. cheryl: it's incredible that we are now talking about streaming versus, you know, old-school tv but i'm showing my age. what does this mean for the future of amazon specially the financing of the company?

>> they who knows when that might happen. this just shows amazon is taking the next step to do new things in the market. last week they purchased whole foods so they are really doing big things there. cheryl: food and football. lea: good things that go together very well. good morning to you. first round of the federal rereceiver annual stress test showing 34 big banks have gained strength, central bank says that all of those banks are fortified enough to with stand a severe u.s. and global recession and continue lending. the stress test showing that morgan stanley trails the rest of the wall street in hypothetical crisis and the second critical part of the system is announced next week. cheryl: well, let's get you caught up, the financial sector was certainly a group to watch yesterday, the stock is under pressure, we will talk about about it.

as you can see a mix bag, most of the indices in the upside in japan. hang seng with tinny bit of pressure and korea kospi up as well. lea: one-year anniversary of the uk brexit vote. the dax down by 37. cheryl: still questions about how brexit is going to affect those markets. taking a look here. you do have green numbers on your friday. it's been a quite a week for the dow. dow pointing higher by 16, s&p and nasdaq higher as well and this could be the fifth week of gains for the dow. we will keep it. lea: let's take a look at commodities, oil is higher by 20 cents. we have been watching that, of course, gold higher by 8 at 12.57 a troy ounce. cheryl: talking about this a minute ago, the health care stocks really doing well yesterday, five weeks, senate republicans unveiling that plan to overhaul obamacare.

lea: cristis chief investment officer in capitol management. good morning to you. >> good morning, cheryl, good morning, lee. >> we saw big bump yesterday, what is your expectation? >> there's two reasons why they've moved. the first one more boring fundamentally, they haven't done very much in biotech is certainly part of it and now all of a sudden they were cheap and they have to move. the biggest thing, is really the government, never underestimate the power of government, make a business and break a business and the new health care at least from what i can look at it, as we see it now is that previously affordable care act traded off, you know, 15 to 20 million people getting on health care and then 50 million people having a health care expenses go up 2 to 3 times and now all of a sudden there's a shift back and we will see more spending particularly on the health care sector, pharmaceuticals, whatever.

a good outlook moving forward here. cheryl: yeah. >> who knows whether it passes. cheryl: who knows, that's the big question. it wasn't just health care stock aetna, humana that performed yesterday but you had hospital companies, drug companies doing really well. what names do you like right now? >> i think in the drug companies i look at some of the things that are beaten down. the pure pharmaceutical, bristol myers would be one. in the biotech area i would look at beaten one like gilliad. those would be the areas that i would go into. the hospital stocks, i think, already have had a move and i'm a little cautious on those. lea: as we are taking a look at individual stocks, of course, the senate wants to try to pass the health care before before it heads to july recess. what happens to some of those names if it doesn't get passed? >> i think they come in a bit and i think everything shifts of

course to tax reform if they don't get health care pass. so you're gambling a little bit with that but they were in a depressed level anyway. cheryl: i don't think we are going to get upset if we get tax reform sooner than later. really quick, overall from an investor perspective, which plan do you like better, the house plan or the senate plan? >> i like the senate plan, it's a little bit more moderate and despite some of the opposition statements, i don't think it really hurts a lot of people, i guess a comfortable plan for most americans. cheryl: we are going to be following it. thanks for joining us this morning. >> thank you. lea: senate republican plan is all for all to see, compare that to nancy pelosi's infamous comment about obamacare back in 2010. remember this? >> we have the pass bill so that you can find out what is in it. lea: we will take a look at

cheryl: 52-48 split, you have four republican senators including ted cruz, rand paul, what are the chances now with high-profile names saying they don't want to get involved? >> well, it'll be interesting to watch but what i think we need to do here is we need to slow it down a bit. you can't expect to have a bill come out one day and within less of a week be able to have everyone on board like the democrats did. it took them 14 months to get obamacare passed an democrats tend to follow each other, republicans don't do that. we are actually a party who have lots of different thoughts, ideas and takes a little bit more time to get on the same page. lea: not just building with time but gaining support of senators that are not in favor of it, what are the chances to get moderate democrats on board to try to get this passed. >> it seems to me that the democrats moderate or liberal

aren't really that interested or jumping on board or chuck schumer claims that he does. otherwise, why would we have groups of people being bussed in before bill is even released. they do have this bill on audio played on the bus, are they all speed readers. they were ready to protest no matter what was in it. cheryl: as we look at it now, it's moving things back to the state, medicaid a big discussion, kids being able to stay on the parents plan and a lot of folks liking what they see here. let me ask you this, there's questions whether if mitch mcconnell did you want have the votes, some saying that he's still going take it to the floor because he wants to at least get that move out there, showing that he's behind the president and he won't take the blame if he doesn't get passed. >> well, i don't know about taking the blame but i think that is why. we do need to have negotiations happening here.

i'm not happy with this bill. i can tell you this bill does not help lower my premiums, it does not help lower deductibles, for our family of six, our premiums gone up 100%, copays for specialized doctors, 400%. my son at age of seven had a stroke so in order to take him to one of the specialist doctor, 35 to $150 a visit. lea: that's exactly what senator cruz has said, it's going to come up to premiums. yesterday rand paul said that he didn't run on obamacare like, can they win over some republicans and get premiums downs, ana -- amy. >> they promised us a repeal. this is simply a replacement. this is not close to a repeal. it's wise that mitch mcconnell does bring to the floor so we can start negotiations. cheryl: amy, thank you for being here and thoughts with your son and family as well. great perspective.

the banks are really fazing a tougher test next week when the fed has to accept or reject capital plan. it seems like at least the bigger names are well funded, are you concerned at all right now? >> well, it was all fine and well that everybody passed but just as you implicated, it's a rolling target and i think that those that are on the weaker side of it, are going to be force today -- forced to raise a little more capitol. the best thing of all would be to have regulations of dodd-frank to be sort of eliminating because there's no bigger stimulus than having less regulation. that's the hope. i'm not sure whether they will get it. lea: let's talk about oil, oil prices have been rising for the first time in more than four days but still low since the start of the year. what's your outlook for oil and do you see a slide for opportunity for investors? >> well, there's an opportunity,

it's down the line. i think we will see a little bit of a comeback in oil prices as we get into the end of the year and the saudis want to see the deal and if they could get 50 they would be happy. cheryl: you're talking about the ipo, obviously. >> yes, we are the world-swing producer and the frackers in west texas break even is below 30, look for us to continue to push back. i'm bearish on the energy names, yes. lea: what do you expect about the oil glut, we have opec cutting u.s. producers just continuing to produce, where do you see this going? >> well, i think you'll see that opec continues to cheat, what i think eventually happen is the world demand for oil is still growing so, you know, maybe an 18 months you'll start to see a progression upward. cheryl: i was looking at some of the sectors that were doing well

she should take note that in november it was record all-time high that 63 member that is voted her out of minority leadership. this is not going to be easy for her. cheryl: do you think she's a liability for the democratic party? >> i do. he's a bit of a hypocrite. when she made the comment about the health care bill, you need to pass it before you can read it. what a hypocrite. lea: the people who organize this meeting among democrats, you had representative molton, catherine rice. people who try today topple her before, who would be in line? >> right, you know, that's a really good question. it seems to me that they really don't know who their leader is and they're all kind of in disarray. you know, i will say coming from the state of nevada when we did have former senator harry reid,

you may like him, you may dislike him but the one thing he did well he kept everyone in order. cheryl: dems have had several setbacks including all of the elections that they have lost now, five, georgia, south carolina, the list keeps going. do you think they really need to figure out how they're going to change their message and is that message going to be different than being obstructionist of the republican agenda if they're going to get house seats back in particular? >> yes, they do need to focus on that because it's become a problem. now they are not exactly sure why they are angry or what to be angry at. they are now becoming a party of tactics and they are not even sure if they will be on the same page or not and are you too progressive or not progress enough. do we not like the bill because it's coming from republicans or because we can sit down andrade the bill and go to the table. they are not sure where to go. lea: this has been frustrating for everyone there.
