big utility companies and they add to that. cheryl: tracee, thank you very much. we also have the story following for you, samsung saying it expects second-quarter operating profit going to hit a record high thanks to boom in memory chip sales. company estimating it made over $12 billion. up more than 70% a year ago, massive growth and data. samsung, the news coming after the company was force today recall the galaxy note 7 smart phones last year after several of them overheated and a couple of them caught fire. lauren: the biggest economic report of the month comes down in about four hours from now, three hours from now, an hour before the market opens. the june job's report could be another disappointment though. we have seen payroll growth missing expectation in march, april and in may. this what exists are looking for

5:09 am
necessarily mean that today's jobs report was disappointing. however, the trend in the last several months with the job's report has been a little light, so i guess given that trend, it wouldn't surprise me if that one is a little bit light too. lauren: which suggests, rob, good to see you, we've had 200,000 jobs created every month, that is behind us, as for unemployment rate, do you expect it to ever soon go below 4%? [laughter] >> well, lauren, it's certainly within the shooting range. let's put it like that that the unemployment can go above 4%. we are certainly starting to reach a point where economists call full employment where we just can't drive the unemployment lower but i don't think we are quite there yet. cheryl: let's talk about wages, rob, forecast 4.3%, .2% was gain that we got for may. but that seems to me to still be
5:10 am
fairly low if you really want a strong economy. >> yeah, cheryl, do i think that that tends to be low and -- and lies a problem for the fed because they're at a point now where they would like to see a little bit of inflation, they're raising rates because the economy is expanding and that's all good but where is the inflation and i guess the first place we might see it is in wage inflation and we are just not really seeing it yet. lauren: the fed is certainly watching for wage inflation. you look year over year, we see wages going up 2%. i know that seems crazy to say, wages are growing too much, do you think that's something that the fed is watching as they go to control inflation? >> i think that's probably front and center and even in the job's report today, there are items, statistics relates to inflation that they'll be looking at. so it's definitely right at the top of their list, i'm sure. cheryl: before we let you go,
5:11 am
federal reserve, obvious the job's report today will be a piece of the puzzle whether or not they decide to raise short-term interest rates again. third raise this year. how likely is another fed rate hike from the fed in your opinion? >> you know, based on the commentary from the fed governors and the minutes, i think we are definitely going to see at least one more hike, probably not more than that unless, you know, the job's report today falls off a cliff in a negative way, but i think it's kind of baked in that we will see one more hike at least. cheryl: rob morgan, thanks for the perspective this morning. >> thanks u cheryl. lauren: president trump comes face to face with vladimir putin for the first time in just a few hours from now. >> we urge russia to cease destabilizing activities and support for hostile regimes including syria and irrein. lauren: the president talking tough on russia in his speech

5:17 am
of moscow's meddling in u.s. election, he spoke about it a little bit in poland, soft peddle it. do you think he will raise that issue? >> yes, i do. i think for a couple of reasons, one this makes perfect sense to raise it. he's already acknowledge that had the russians have likely played a role. there's no reason why he wouldn't do it in private, but also people have started theory a while back, the democrats pushed specially that president trump wants such a relationship with russia that he'll do anything to get it. that's his predecessor, president trump pushes america's interest first. if he believed that the russians has been aggressive in anyway, crimea, rest of ukraine, syria whatever, elections, he's going to say so. i don't doubt he's going the say that. i don't think he's going to curse him out and have a fist-fight. he already did that yesterday and he did that when te bombed the syrians and showed russians that america is leading again.
