taken a defeatist approach to his implosion, he has done what every lazy loser does in the aftermath of defeat. he's blaming someone else. we assumed seething republicans had a shiny, happy plan they could snap into plan on inauguration day. but it should be long enough to turn a lump of crap like obamacare into a friendly plan that doesn't affect the economy. apparently the legislative process moves slower presidential ice. he says the president has excessive expectations. his experience and intellect too low to understand and shepherd

quality legislation. they had no problem catering to the voters' excessive expectations. there was a sense of urgency to get the party back on track because both parties and leadership failed us. the president tweeted out, can you believe mitch mcconnell who screamed repeal and replace for seven years couldn't get it done? yes, i can believe a power hungry politician lied. now it's interesting to see how voters reacted to mitchell's failure. i have a feeling they will channel the blame at the ballot box. i vote for you. i'm kennedy.

this afternoon the president was asked if mitch mcconnell should resign. here is what he said. >> i want them to get repeal and replace done. i have been hearing repeal and replace for 7 years and i have only been doing this for two years, and i have been doing this for six months, but i have been running. kennedy: here with a tale of the tapes is my heavyweight party panel. lgbt for trump founder chris baron. and joe concha joins knee. how did mitch mcconnell not realize the comments he made at the rotary club in kentucky would be turned around? >> if you mean that pain is

temporary? that sounds where he says expectations were too high. seven years you are the guy who set those expectations. there are sound bites of you on the senate floor talking repeal and replace day one. kennedy: what is mccouldn't's strategy if he's going to avoid a prolonged fight. this is just the kinds of enemy he likes. whether it's hillary clinton or the media, mitch mcconnell and his clumsy comments are taylor made. -- tailor made. >> this is such a prime example of what's wrong with washington. we heard for years repeal it. no, let's do anything we can to stop this from happening. it goes to the supreme court. we are angry it wasn't taken down there.

now you have got the president, you have got majority, and what did they do? screw it up again. there is no defense for this. i hope the voters, they are the ones being told no you are not getting what you want. come out and vote these guys out. kennedy: i don't understand how mcconnell explains the boring concept of the legislative process when it's simple for voters. they have been given a mandate. >> this is why trump won. this dirty little game washington played, they are saying it behind closed doors about tax reform. guess what, i heard it, they are not going to do tax reform. they are happy to have the political issue to fight over. what they weren't expecting was a president who got elected who

wanted to follow through on his promises. trump thought i have got this republican house and senate, they have been talking about repealing obamacare. get it to my decks on election day. they say you actually expected us to do it? kennedy: if they go through the same process and find the same fissures in the party it will be difficult for them to get it done if they come up with the same road blacks between moderate and conservative groups. that's one thing to have philosophical differences. it's another thing to have a majority leader who can't wrangle people and figure out how to get everyone on the same page. >> we noticed politicians talk and talk. when push comes to shove, they

don't want their name actually on something that could be used against them. so they sit there and do nothing. >> the devil's advocate argument is he can only lose 3 votes. that's a very tightrope to walk. you have to bring democrats in to tax reform because they will say no to everything. they would have got healthcare if they got mccain. when people say republicans failed. didn't really mccain fail? kennedy: i disagree mccain failed. he did exactly what he said he was going to do. he said enough of the nonsense. this is the boring process mitch mcconnell was talking about. if mcconnell was smart and did that from the beginning and honor the process he claims to be a part of, then you would have seen a vastly different bill that would have been free

market. cowardly skinny version that would be a franken bill by the time it got to the house. >> every time they moved the bill to the right, every moderate who moved for repeal before hid under the covers. >> that's hypocritical. they voted to repeal obamacare and they have the power and ability to positively affect the healthcare conversation and they didn't do it. if they had gone back and been true to their word instead of being slimily politicians who are worried about getting re-elected instead of doing something meaningful that would benefit people's lives. >> the slogan skinny repeal? how about stage one repeal.

kennedy: that's like going up to a bar as a guy at a bachelor party and ordering a gin margarita. >> it doesn't sound good. kennedy: does mcconnell survive this? >> who knows. we are uncharted territory at this point. i hope that the voters come out with that passion they had in the presidential election and start calling these guys out. who wants to be in charge. who wants that job? >> ted cruz? kennedy: i don't care. someone has to. it's the friggin' senate. they have a country club cream puff life. the president was asked about his fire and fury comments. watch. >> the people that were questioning that statement was it too tough. maybe it wasn't tough enough. they have been doing this to our country for a long time, for many years. it's about time somebody stuck

up for the people of this country and for the people of other countries. if anything maybe that statement wasn't tough enough ken there are that after a north korean general put out a statement saying they were planning to lawn much four missiles into the watters and territory of guam. they said sound dialogue is not possible with somebody bereft of reason. that general is charles schumer. the plan to launch the rockets will be presented to kim jong-un in mid-august and he will decide to watch the launch then. how concerned should we be? let me bring in former cia officer and host of buck sexton.

a lot of people are freaked out by this. there are people who feel like the president went too far and was declaring nuclear war on north korea. i'm the kind of person who says the president was using a smart psychological strategy. i don't agree with a lot of the stuff he says and does. but i agree here. >> he is confronting a bully which is what the kim regime has been for everybody in the region. now these missiles have a longer and longer trajectory and the nuclear warheads get smaller and smaller. if you are going to confront a bully, you have to convince that state that you will throw a punch. oh, they know we'll escalate and use force if we have to. i don't think that's the case.

i think the kim regime can do what they have been doing, which is swindling us. agreeing to ramp down their rhetoric and taking food aid or taking whatever it is at a given time. so they are getting closer and closer to what they want. the acceleration in the usage of missiles in the testing of missiles and the way they speak about kim jong-un versus kim jong-il. they are heading towards an actual conflict with south korea based on the propaganda. the timeline is not in our favor. kennedy: a lot of the solutions the people have suggested take too much time to implement because it is an accelerated timeline. but there are two sides to the story. it almost seems like north korea wants a con flirktd. why would they want a conflict?

>> north korea wants a conflict. the entire legitimacy of the state is premised on uniting the peninsula. we always think of the kim regime being crazy and it is to an extent. but also there are some -- there is some support among the north korean people. part of brainwashing is you are hard wired to think a certain way about some issues. and they believe they are and siege from the west. kennedy: they believe attack is imminent and the united states, the imperialists are going to invade their country and they have no choice but to defend themselves. >> they think they are going to be anile yaition if they don't d annihilation if they don't stand up.

before the break i asked how many state don't have an income tax. the answer is lucky number. one of those states happens to be the evergreen state, washington. the federation for freedom says the plan is unconstitutional, they cite a state law prohibiting taxes on net income. they don't have an income tax. that's the war of businesses and individual to -- that's the lure of individual and businesses to places like washington state. gerri: florida as well. this is a big draw for a lot of people. but the people in seattle are saying that's not fair because there is a.5% sales tax people pay.

so when you are out spending in the world. but the reality is most of of that stuffy vaids the tax because they don't make you pay the tax on the necessities of life. kennedy: including food. seattle though they talk about the economic health of the region and have a lot of billionaires who live in the area because of companies like microsoft and amazon. but they also hate them and despise their wealth. and this is another example of the city trying to punish wealthy people they are envious of. gerri: they want to impose an income tax.

so they are capturing more than the hugely successful technology folks it's a broader net they are throwing people into. the freedom foundation says it's unconstitutional because the state constitution says you can't do that. kennedy: they can't set their own income tax. gere require has gone to the supreme court and the court says your state constitution says you can't do this. in new york city, deblasio wants a millionaire's tax to pay for the nonsense going on with public transportation. you see the left in the big cities, pedal to the metal. and state like confound if you do this, the wealthy leave. kennedy: when you have money you

have mobility and you can hire a bigger u-haul. hillary clinton may be out of the woods physically or she is not yet when it comes to benghazi. a federal judge ordered the state department to reopen the search for hillary's emails related to the 2012 attacks that killed four americans. >> we have four dead americans, was it because of protests or because some guys went out for a walk and decided to kill americans. what difference at this point does it make? kennedy: the judge ruled it didn't go far enough because the state department never bothered to check their own servers for messages that may have been sent from the seem accounts of her top aides. if hillary's missing emails can be found? is there hope for jimmy hoffa?
