>> security for the u.s. government. >> i like it but i like boeing more. >> that's it for "forbes on fox". thank you, everybody for watching. the leaks continue. now, some are worried that is weak for further undermine the world confidence in the united states of america. are they right or wrong? i'm trish and we have three. welcome to you. rachel, are these leaks more dangerous now because of things
7:31 am
with north korea are getting worse? >> absolutely. the situation is is important and that present need to speak to the allies and advisers in an open forum where he's not going to have that information in those conversations leaked into the newspaper and on the media. this situation is dangerous and i think these ever come that are inside the government that are leaking this will have a patriotic question for them. do they care more about obstructing the president in undoing the selection that they care about the safety of americans that are living in guam. these weeks someone needs to be arrested and walked for the cameras and made an example of or it won't stop. >> we are seeing many more now,
7:32 am
the we've ever seen before. president obama had to go after the lakers but the leaking situation has reached a level that is unprecedented. >> i agree that is dangerous. the transcripts of the present phone calls with other world leaders were leaked last week which is calls into question whether four leaders will feel it's a safe place to call the president of theunited states. >> were trying to deal with china and north korea. >> i would say the president himself on sunday retreated a report that used classified information that nikki haley said she wouldn't comment on about north korea. it's not that we should it does have week but the president of the united states should not be taking things based on five i want to focus on the overall administration because larry, i'm looking at this and china we need to come on board here. we need chinas help and we've got to pressure china to help us
7:33 am
with the north korean situation. they are not doing what they need to do, clearly, but you imagine, larry, there's backroom conversations going on and if china or anyone else for that matter can't trust that that information will get leaked out to the press and potentially put them in a bad spot, how did that influence our ability to influence and resolve this issue. >> this is volatile and national calls for unity. it doesn't call for partisan divide, bickering and leaks. job one from the new chief of staff is to stabilize the white house, stop the leaks and get unity. russia, china, iran, they would like nothing better to undermine a democracy which is exactly what we are seeing with these leaks. we have american life that seeks not to think butin korea and the only way to protect them is to stop these leaks into speak with one voice. that's not happening five you mean speak with one voice. that's why have with the members of the left, and said the president is being bombastic, irresponsible et cetera,
7:34 am
jessica, when he directs his language at the crazy man in north korea. it seems to be that the level that we have heard from north korea needs to be matched. we have spent years and years of trying to work with them trying to be diplomatic and not say the wrong thing and now someone is talking tough and instead of unifying the high that tough talk your members of the left criticizing it. >> it also members of the right, john mccain, those who are ready to take them on the party after the health care bill come out against it. colin powell is on record as they were concerned about the rhetoric from donald trump that about a militarized north korea. the comparisons to kim jung-un are dangerous five and wrong and unpatriotic. trish:
7:35 am
>> be added to the donald to take to see if he left his own cabinet members high and dry having to depend fire in fury. they say we talk about the mood or whatever he was going to say but not specific words. specific do it in words do matter. trish: i would point out is that everyone has the same message. we are all on the same page within the administration. i am taking issue with is as a country, we need to be on the same page in certainly people say things differently and this president has a certain flair, shall we say, with how he does things but everyone is saying the same thing. do not mess with us, north kor korea. >> absolutely. i don't have a problem with fire in fury. it's all the other options have been exhausted. we tried everything else. barack obama gave pallets of unmarked bills to the irradiance and they are still pursuing their nuclear weapons.
7:36 am
this is not greatest be solved in the old way. we are running out of time. they are very close to being able to do the things they want to do to our country that will cost american life. we need national unity and we need people to decide their rancor and bad feelings about the last election and unite as a country against a common enemy. [inaudible conversations] trish: go ahead, larry. >> election season is over and this is decades of placement and it has gotten us nowhere. it is time to change the tone, the dialogue and to take action and stop the countries around the world who are watching this with baited breath to see how they will pursue their nuclear ambitions. maybe not everyone likes the tone but it is appropriate. trish: you must and you'll have real problems. in the story. that in many ways, frankly, should be obvious but jessica, no one was willing to say it for the last eight years and then some.
7:37 am
>> it's not thelast eight year years. it's also with george bush and bill clinton. the bipartisan problem in dealing with north korea election point. tell the president of the united states that he won that hillary clinton is no longer sent to me it's just a lady writing a book. it's up now. don't talk about the popular vote anymore. he won the electoral vote and. trish: that has nothing to do with north korea both rachel and larry have brought up an issue that we are still relitigating it. [inaudible conversations] >> i do think the left is out there trying to say that he won because of russian interference. that's a fair estimate not a fair point but a fair point for
7:38 am
rachel to make. they continue to this over and over again in an effort to undermine the president of united states if you want to link back to north korea, larry, we need strength. we need believe in our system right now and we need everybody on the same page, a united country as we deal with an international threat. it is inappropriate to be continuing to talk about the election cycle and whether or not he should be legitimately president of the united states in a time like this. >> lives are at risk here and north korea is the -- here talking about world turmoil if we don't write the situation. we can't go through this for decades in the future. we need to step the situation right now and take a stance road dictatorship. it's not a popular situation but only by national unity will we take action.
7:39 am
trish: absolutely. >> can't unite her of something like this with lives at stake for american soldiers, what can we write? trish: think so much guys. give the mayor and the money growth. one city now calling for a past on. hike to squeeze more cash from hike to squeeze more cash from taxpayers. restlessness... extreme anxiety... pacing... a constant urge to move. if someone you know is suffering from schizophrenia they may also be struggling with akathisia: a common side effect of some schizophrenia medications. learn more at myakathisia.com. the u.s. needs to develop more renewable and clean energy resources because there are limits to the amount of fossil fuels that we can burn. since 1925, we have depended on diesel generators, burning approximately a million gallons of diesel fuel a year.
7:40 am
we're going through an energy revolution. our mission is to make off-shore wind one of the principle new sources of energy. not every bank is willing to get involved in a "first of its kind" project. citi really stepped up when we needed them. citi saw the promise of clean energy and they worked really closely with us, financing the first off-shore wind farm in the united states. the wind farm will lower power prices. we're polluting the air less. businesses and homes can rely on a steady source of power. block island wind farm is a catalyst this will be the first of many off-shore wind farms in the u.s. with some big news about type 2 diabetes. you have type 2 diabetes, right? yes. so let me ask you this... how does diabetes affect your heart? it doesn't, does it? actually, it does. type 2 diabetes can make you twice as likely to die from a cardiovascular event,
7:41 am
like a heart attack or stroke. and with heart disease, your risk is even higher. you didn't know that. no. yeah. but, wait, there's good news for adults who have type 2 diabetes and heart disease. jardiance is the only type 2 diabetes pill with a lifesaving cardiovascular benefit. jardiance is proven to both significantly reduce the chance of dying from a cardiovascular event in adults who have type 2 diabetes and heart disease and lower your a1c. jardiance can cause serious side effects including dehydration. this may cause you to feel dizzy, faint, or lightheaded, or weak upon standing. ketoacidosis is a serious side effect that may be fatal. symptoms include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, and trouble breathing. stop taking jardiance and call your doctor right away if you have symptoms of ketoacidosis or an allergic reaction. symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, swelling, and difficulty breathing or swallowing. do not take jardiance if you are on dialysis or have severe kidney problems. other side effects are sudden kidney problems, genital yeast infections, increased bad cholesterol, and urinary tract infections, which may be serious. taking jardiance with a sulfonylurea or insulin may cause low blood sugar.
7:42 am
tell your doctor about all the medicines you take and if you have any medical conditions. so now that you know all that, what do you think? that it's time to think about jardiance. ask your doctor about jardiance. and get to the heart of what matters.

watch the foxbusiness network for the various latest news. >> today, i am calling on albany to pass a millionaire's tax to support the ncaa. [applause] it is a modest increase in state income taxes for those who make half a million or more. trish: the millionaire's tax but they are making five again. another making a debate about taxing and spending and this is your new york mayors bill diblasio and subsidize for the
7:44 am
sum subway system is a mess these days. the solution seems to be just tax, just tax the people that are earning money and spend it and no one is talking about the fiscal responsibility such as maybe we should look for places in our budget where we can take the money that is already there. >> let's call this what it is. it is a tax hike on the middle-class families of new york city who already can't afford to live in the city and higher spending, higher taxes are not always the answer. look at our education system in this country. we spent more than any other nation but we lack in math and science. i live in a top-ranked school district and the municipal politicians encourage us to vote for tax increase for smaller sizes and classes were 50% greater. that's we have to show for it. trish: i would point out 500k. that's a lot of money.
7:45 am
right, larry? you're talking about how the split middle-class families. >> it starts off at 500k but we know they will run out of rich people to tax. it's ultimately the middle-class who always winds up paying the bills because there aren't enough rich people to tax. they run them out of state. general electric move, at the moved and the middle class always winds up paying the bills. trish: the wealthy have a choice, jessica, they don't have to live in new york city. they could say i will pack up and move out of state. they have a choice here and what bill diblasio inadvertently is doing and this is always a consequence is he's decreasing the amount of tax revenue he will get because he will send everyone packing. >> i'm not sure everyone will bolt over this but i'm not sure it will pass quite frankly.
7:46 am
after taxes, in new york city, we love hearing how it gets you to that 250k which if you are supporting a family can be difficult in the city because it's a astronomically expensive here. trish: let's hope you're right. this is the bernie sanders socialist arm of the party, bill diblasio included that thanks the more money you make, rachel, the more we should take. >> absolutely. this is a typical liberal sponsor problem. throw other people's money at it. build a positive note doesn't want to do the hard work of finding wasteful programs in his budget that might upset certain constituents and special insurance voters that he has. here is the deal. he set aside $16 million of new york taxpayer money for legal fees for illegals just this year. since 2009 new york has paid more than $30 million for shakespeare in the park, the shame play that did the assassination attempt parity of donald trump. there is a lot of waste and
7:47 am
programs out there. infrastructure and public transportation is. trish: jessica is shaking her head and we all know that shakespeare in the park is relevant. >> i am happy to pay for that myself because i need to be able to ride the subway. you have to. >> rachel went to two things that's new yorker strong feel stronger about. we protect our legal immigrants were not committing crimes by the initial that they committed it from here. trish: that is a whole other conversation. we'll get to that coming up you also brought up in culture and i think the city does believe in their being funding from the state for those type things. [inaudible conversations] trish: rachel, your bottom line
7:48 am
is prioritized. why can't our lawmakers prioritize and spend the money well just like a private investor would? >> if you have a family, you get this. i like to take my kids to the movies and plays but if my car is not working and i can't get to work that's a bigger priority. that's what people are asking a mayor diblasio. by the way, there's rats jumping into strollers in the subways. there's a lot of problems. >> for decades we had complete info structure in this country and local politicians wasteful bureaucrats have diverted those funds for political game for other purposes. of course we need a projector spending but it never goes to infrastructure. it goes to special interests and we don't see those improvements. that is what will happen here if we pay the tax increase. it'll only heard middle-class families. trish: well put. thank you so much. coming up, mayor rahm emanuel

the city of chicago may be the first to bring a lawsuit but i'm confident we will not be the last. trish: in a showdown over sanctuary cities heating up. rahm emanuel is suing the trumpet ministration this week. his city wants to detect illegal immigrants. the white house wants to stop please stop to it by pulling the federal funding. larry, who is right here, federal versus state?
7:53 am
>> never let a good crisis go to waste. this has nothing to do with centricity or even the important immigration reform but everything to do a chicago politics that is what he is doing here. he's had low approval ratings and struggled in the polls and the way to bolster a port is to pick a fight with the white house. trish: you think it will work here? legally speaking i wonder because doesn't the federal government have a responsibility to ensure everyone's safety and to ensure that we are a country with borders and why are they giving money to chicago so that chicago can basically fly in the face of that smart. >> is putting his political ambition ahead of the safety of the streets of chicago, ahead of the schools of chicago and his priority is only his political grandstanding here. we need to recognize that chicago is a bad reputation as one of the murder capitals of the world.
7:54 am
trish: worse than la and new york combined. here he is basically using this for a political chip. >> i think that rahm emanuel is interested in being a leader in the resistance it has been clear about that from the beginning. i do agree with larry insofar as that is what he is trying to do. i also think he's trying to protect the illegal population of chicago because we know that president trump has set down orders that ice should now pick up those on the suspicion of committing a crime and i would also add it looks bad that the federal government is learning to take away funds while the murder rate is so high. you can make the garment that that doesn't go only to -- obviously, the police in the department and those in chicago have a lot of work to do to make sure that it is a safe city again but it does not look good to funds from a murder capital.
7:55 am
>> i think that larry hit it right on. this is about politics. this is all about rahm emanuel trying to court a specific part of the vote and he's doing so in a way that is detrimental to the health and safety of his own citizens there in chicago. >> yeah, and many of the poor people in working-class people. this is a war on people because rahm emanuel, when there's violent crime, can move to another neighborhood or pay for security to keep them out. it's people who are trapped in many of these neighborhoods where there are violent felons can't. i will say this. so interesting that rahm just discovered state rights. i love state rights and i fight for state rights and i vote for state rights but you can't have 50 immigration policies. it has to be done at the federal level. trish: don't panic over north korea, the one name some say you should be fine when everyone else is copd makes it hard to breathe.
