but depending on which side of the island you are on. much more side on the east side than the west side. much of the damage will be in the keys. not just pleasure boats. but people's home. one is two blocks inland. you have no power, no water. very little cell service if you can find it. what's interesting is we are starting to see the first relief efforts come. i have seen caravans, one from california. this is a mobile command vehicle used by the u.s. customs and border protection. they were prepositioned ready to go. that unit there went down to marathon key. that unit let some of the locals and some of the authorities there get out.

memories and their lives through these storms of harvey and irma. but the president made clear in answer to a question by the press that we are focused on lives and recovery, not money, not shenanigans the congress and the press likes to play at times like this. we are also struck by the non-governmental response. the volunteers, the neighbors, the strangers, the friends, the not-for-prove it operations. and this president knows that recovery and the rebuilding around the corner we cannot see could take months and years, i'm told billions of dollars. i can't think of a time in which any president has had any better partners than trick scott and greg abbott, the governments of florida and texas.
