you've got to believe some of those people potentially did lose their lives. talk to a firefighter before sundown last night. they do expect numbers to go pretty significantly. does that mean 15 more? we don't know. some of these areas are endowed are not moral. we are talking about hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of homes. some older models, but still the house prices here are high but that doesn't really matter. the homes are gone and the people inside in some cases may have gotten out and they have to go back to where the homes were in napa in santa rosa for that matter and take a look at the ruins. right now just trying to ensure it doesn't hurt anyone else in burma houses down. the fire that burned through here is now going over the hills toward the area called green valley, which is towards a town called fairfield. these fires burn in several different directions.

the good news is the winds are going to start to keep more of an onshore flow so that will help things for northern california. improving conditions for northern california. however, southern california is still a high fire danger. long beach, oceanside, palm springs elevated higher for offshore winds. they go through the canyon and that enhances the wind possibility. the fire weather outlook today it's going to be high or elevated across southern california. northern california gets better. the bad news is we are not looking at rainfall in the area at all for any parts of california and the highest they are not excessively high but still very warm. obviously fire danger elevated across for northern california, better for firefighters. the past six hours with no

california killing at least 10 people, injuring 100 others. 1500 homes and businesses completely destroyed or thousands of people forced to leave their homes at the last second. jerry brown has declared a state of emergency in sonoma, nassau county as more than a dozen wild fires are burning through the region. reporter: large fires when driven with winds up to 50 miles an hour push these fires are the same time. resources are being scattered to respond to all of these fires. it's very difficult to send any concentration of resources to one area. cheryl: and massive wildfire also burning in southern california. 5000 homes evacuated there. the fire has destroyed dozens of structures found in orange county south of los angeles. june is telling us locally that northern california will get a bit of a break from the winds come in the santa ana wind.

unfortunately, some of the c. level executives are still in place. somebody like rob corker is planning seems to undermine this president with the most recent commentary and it's not helpful in a dozen advanced to republican party and it doesn't, most importantly, provide tax relief and regulatory relief to the american people. lauren: here's the thing, when it comes to tax reform and almost everybody wants to see the tax cut in new tax policy because it helps americans and businesses. the gop can only lose to republican senators before they have to reach out to democrats for help. are we in a situation now where bob corker can become a maverick like john mccain and we just don't know how it's going to vote on the issue. >> you have to you have to, mccain and corker who could go the other way and look at all of these on anything with health care that didn't work. what is really interesting though it is a progrowth policy. not necessarily perceived

pro-business. it's really pro-american and it's very curious why you would think even on the other side democrats would get behind it because growing the economy, creating jobs seems like something our country needs right now politics aside. cheryl: what democrats can you see getting on board? i am thinking of joe donnelly of indiana. >> that is then forecast by the fact donnelly has traveled with the vice president and the president. you can also look to somebody like senator manchin from west virginia. there are democrats willing to play here in the president has already already articulated if republican leaders cannot get this done, president of the united states president trump will not be having to president. he's going to get something done even if link requires them to engage in bipartisanship and bring democrats to the table. when you look to the polling on tax reform, even democrats overwhelmingly support reforming and working on common sense

solutions to the tax code. the deal can be done with the support of the rank-and-file of the democratic party. we just have to reach out. lauren: we certainly hope so. let's get into some of the details but the framework for tax reform. small businesses are huge jobs responsible for applying 66 million people. if they get a tax cut and cut the rates on tax there is 225% as proposed, how big of a deal with diabetes for small businesses out there? >> is huge. 40% of the taxes pay for business actually come from partnerships, sole proprietorships, all of which are basically taxed at a rate of an individual. another little nugget on small business. businesses of 100 employees in the last several years have created five times more jobs than companies with 1000 employees or more.

it is really small business has the economic engine for this country. when you talk about tax reform, and the truly reforming thing in the blueprint that was seen in the past plus the framework today is lowering the rates for pastors and not taxing them at the rate of the shareholders. lauren: i wanted stay with you. goldman sachs came out with a report saying there is a 65% chance of getting tax reform done in 2018, but then avocado market would move. the s&p 500 at 25 to 44 is closed will raise to 26.10. that is a small move. why isn't the move taker? >> lauren, tax reform has baked into the market from day one and i worry that it would go the other way if we can't get something through the senate. that looks like we could get something based on the way the budget resolution was passed last thursday. the market could react the other way. i think it is baked in simple
