great sense of urgency. as e-mail, the market has priced in tax reform and so they have to get it done now. cheryl: peter, i may speak as an economist, but you've been watching this play out for years. this is a very aggressive timeline. can they pull it off? >> they can pull it off. three or four senators they really are part of the republican party when it comes to voting on economic issues. collins, caputo and makowski to name three. this would all be easier if we could tackle the entitlements program, l.a. scene adult men perfectly capable of working and refuse to work shouldn't get food stamps and medicaid. if we could make those cuts in entitlement, we could cut personal rates much more than 75 billion it would be much easier to accommodate eliminating solids and lower with enough that people say i'm

getting enough that i can live without state and local tax deductions because my rates are going down enough. when you've got a senator like collins who will vote against anything that touches entitlements, it's hard to get this done. cheryl: that's a bigger question. the devil be in the details later. is your john mccain, bob corker, we'll take a corker, will they go against the president out of spite? mccain is kind of the deciding factor. >> yeah, health care is not the unifying issue for republicans that tax reform is. given that they felt the first time in the two senate on health care, it makes passing tax reform all the more urgent. they will find a way through here. once the house bill passes bill passed its own bill and once that happens to put a conference committee. there's a good chance here. cheryl: i like the positivity. we've been waiting for this for a long time.
