train to the saudi government stepping a bit crackdown with the goal of confiscating cash and other assets worth up to $800 billion. riva gold from "the wall street journal" joins us now. playing out like a soap opera. what is the latest? >> it does seem to be certainly an escalation of the corruption crackdown. around 60 businessmen and officials of being reportedly under investigation at the moment. all of these assets in theory could be confiscated by the state still a good share of them are abroad. the latest in what the government says it needs to do to get the economy back on the front but after taking some pretty heavy losses in with the oil price fell a couple years ago saudi arabia has borrowed heavily from debt markets and is now making a push. some people say it's to consolidate power. certainly an interesting gamble and one that the global community is watching closely.
