rallying conservatives to get out and vote tuesday. swearing? skier step nielsen -- swearing in kirstjen nielsen as the new homeland security secretary. president trump: we want great people coming into our country. we want a merit-based system. we have to get rid of chain migration, all the things we have been talking about. reporter: the white house dismisses the notion that tonight's campaign-style event has anything to do with roy moore. >> it's a campaign event for donald trump. he won florida when many pundits said he wouldn't do it, couldn't do it. and the people of pensacola helped put him in office. this is a thank you to him.
1:03 am
reporter: roy moore says he won't be in pensacola but is grateful to have conservatives rallying near alabama. the white house continues to maintain the allegations against roy moore are troubling but it's up to alabama voters to make a decision about him. a revelation that his main accuser embellished a signature in her high school yearbook. a white house official tells fox news there was nothing in the president's prepared remarks about roy moore or doug jones. but at campaign rallies the president often goes off script. he was tweeting his full-throated support for moore.
1:04 am
the republican national committee has gone all in for moore. the rnc transferring $50,000 to moore's campaign and this week adding $100,000 for phone bangs and other get -- phone banks and get-out-the-vote efforts. president trump also point out the unemployment in manufacturing dropped to 2.6%, the lowest ever record. staffing changes announced. dina powell will be leaving early next year to move back to her family in new york. in a statement h.r. mcmaster called powell one of the most of talented and effective leaders with whom i have ever served. while the white house press another was invited to watch the

swearing? of kirsten kneel step. but the press was ushered out before being able to ask the president questions. as he left the white house the president who more frequently has been coming over to talk to the press simply waved and walked to the helicopter. questions about roy moore and other issues were fired his way, but the president just ignored him. gregg: tonight's rally in pensacola a welcome reprieve for the president. it comes on the heels of a major victory for the pments allies. the house ethics committee cleared destrip nun else of accusations that he disclosed classified information opening way for him to resume full

month-long probe into the surveillance of americans through the fisa courts. >> i think we have evidence that abuses have occurred. catherine: he points to the conversation between mike flynn and the russian ambassador. >> i hate to use the word corrupt. but they have become so dirty, that who is watching the watchmen. who is investigating these people? there is no one. catherine: nunes says he will call the department official who was recently demoted over his contacts with fusion gps to testify. he says james, and loretta lynch may have valuable information. cnn misreported that donald trump, jr. coordinate with

wikileaks to obtain hillary clinton emails. the house ethics committee also cleared jeff sessions. the federal judge who oversaw general flinls guilty plea will no longer handle case. he also sits on the national security surveillance court. the flynn case has been randomly reassigned. and the judge also sits on the fisa court. gregg: there is evidence that mueller's legal team is nothing more than a bunch of attack dogs with ties to the democratic
1:09 am
party. andrew wiseman attended the hillary clinton election night party. mueller's right-hand man previously represented a former hillary clinton i.t. aide who destroyed children tons blackberries with a hammer. another investigator represented former national security advisor ben rhodes and the clinton foundation as well as hillary clinton herself in a lawsuit seeking access to her private emails. what about all of that? joining me to talk about it, chris farrell from judicial watch. there are so many highly qualified, experienced and skilled lawyers across america who do not have a political ax to grind. had mueller chosen them, it would have lent credibility and integrity to his investigation.
1:10 am
he chose not to do that. are you concerned that the mueller team, including mueller himself, have extreme political bias and corrupt motives? >> the credibility is less than zero. the unlawful or highly questionable investigative tactics that have been employed so far, and i have reason to believe chairman nunes from the intelligence committee has been lied to over and over again with respect to this unmasking issue. in large part the same cast of characters, the same inner circle who are willfully blind with respect to the clinton foundation and mrs. clinton's server and uranium one, but they have excruciating attention to detail on minor matters. their credibility is shot.
1:11 am
arguably there are people involved who aren't just making administrative errors or failing to dot is and cross ts. they are involves in criminal misconduct in the abiewflts criminal system. there needs to be a special counsel for the special counsel. gregg: a watchdog looking at the watchdogs. i wrote a column titled "robert mueller and his politically biased team of prosecutors must go." let me quote, mueller deliberately assembled a team of partisans with a history of political biased who appear to be determined to undo results of the 2016 presidential election and drive president trump from office. he transformed what was supposed
1:12 am
to be an impartial investigation into an illegitimate and seemingly corrupt one. to restore integrity, attorney general jeff sessions should unrecuse himself for limited purpose of cleaning up mueller's mess. what do you think about that? i looked into the law and regulations. there is nothing to prevent jeff sessions from stepping in and saying wait a minute, this is illegitimate, it has the appearance of impropriety, bias and corruption. i'm going to remove mule per and all of the partisans on that team and replace them are -- replace them with people who are not. >> you are right. they need fresh blood from the outside. the abuse of process and investigative powers and authority as i said before i believe is criminal. no one believes anything they are doing.
1:13 am
they spent $7 million to go after paul manafort with a no-knock pre-dawn warrant and charge him with spending too much money on suits, and go after general flynn with the thinnest of 1001 false official statements charges. no other charges like conspiracy. no one can name what the criminal predicate is. what crime occurred? no one can tell you. no one. gregg: no one had legal standing to challenge the allegations until someone is charged. let me tell you about andrew wise man the so-called pit bull prosecutor. this is a guy who was there at donald trump's opponent's election night party. he's also a guy who wrote a
1:14 am
fawning letter to sally yates which is a clear anti-trump bias. an has close ties to chang. and there she is protesting trump outside the white house posting it on her facebook page proud lire. >> it's a disgrace that anybody thought he could pass the sniff test on this. this guy is so far anti-trump and pro-hillary clinton. i would like to see if there is video of wiseman in the javits center crying. his own colleagues referred to him as a legal terrorist.
1:15 am
this is a guy -- gregg: in an ethics complaint 100 pages long, he's accused of hiding evidence and threatening witnesses in a thug i shall, unprincipled way. but robert mueller sabotaged the credibility of his own investigation. >> they are done. gregg: president trump is about to arrive in pensacola at any moment. president trump is set to hold a make america great again rally in pensacola, florida, just days away from the alabama special election. >> we don't want a democrat controlled by shuck schumer and nancy pelosi. we don't want that for alabama.

trump's rally in pensacola, florida, nine miles from alabama where a heated senate race is getting hotter by the day. republican roy moore is leading democrat doug jones by 2.4% two days before tuesday's election. never-trump conservatives are waging a war against moore. a pac is asking to reject moore on tuesday and are spending $500,000 on ads. matt, roy moore after the revelations dropped down in the polls by 10% to 12%. he bounced back considerably.
1:21 am
is that due to the fact president trump warmed up to him or is it just a coincidence? >> so many republican leaders in washington, d.c. castigateed him. and they don't want to have the personal moral choice to be told to hem how they should vote. gregg: moore who was leading substantially took a precipitous drop after the allegations. but a month has gone by and all of this has sort of settled in. people have had an opportunity to look closer at the accusations and credibility. what do you make of it: >> the polls are saying he's up
1:22 am
2, maybe 3 points. i think it's more than that. matt and i both know the polls are not always accurate. when donald trump was up for election i had so many suburban moms couple to me and whisper, "i'm voting for trump." they felt comfortable telling me that, but didn't feel comfortable telling the pollster. the information that dropped about beverly young nelson saying she in some way changed the yearbook. this was proof he had been sort of courting these young high school girls. if you were on the fence about that, that might make you feel more comfortable casting the vote for roy moore. but i spoke to some prominental baprominentalabamans and they ad
1:23 am
about the supreme court. they understand this has consequences for the supreme court and they want to look long term at that. gregg: what about the other revelations of sexual misconduct on capitol hill. al franken announcing he's stepping down. has that affected them? >> this issue has changed society all over in all these different sectors from hollywood to media to politics. i think a lot of women are coming forward and have a story to tell and i applaud them for doing it. but i think it put the democrats in a precarious position. as rachel knows with her husband serving in congress, and they are relatively new to this game. they have some explaining to do. john conyers had some explaining
1:24 am
to do and there are probably 20-30 others who will hear about it and i don't think this story is over. this is arguably fairly clever. he's going to have an alabama audience but he's actually in florida where he has a huge amount of support. he's going the talk about roy moore tonight, isn't he? >> he might. but the smarter thing to do is to talk about his agenda. he has so much to brag about. unemployment down. the report about hispanics. the lowest inemployment ever. under the obama administration 2 million to 3 million hispanics had fallen into poverty. there is good news all around. isis on the ropes because he unleashed mattis on these evil terrorists. he can brag and convince them
1:25 am
agenda is more important. he has a lot to brag about. >> my guess is if he goes through all of the things he achieved the first year, it will be an hour-long speech. matt, good to see you, thank you. be sure to vote in tonight's poll. do you believe the dems and their deep-state allies are starting to see their smear campaign tactics backfire? cast your vote on twitter @loudobbs. like the show on facebook and instagram on "lou dobbs tonight." stocks closing at record highs on a strong jobs report. the dow jones scoring 118 points. closing at all time highs. happy friday. the nasdaq up 27 points. the dow and the s & p posting

from santa barbara down to san diego. the firestorm tearing through everything in its path. >> the embers are coming. the empty field caught on fire. there was a propane explosion. >> as people were trying to evacuate the fire was being and by santa ana winds and people could not get out of their homes fast enough. reporter: and neither could these horses. a scene of horror and panic as they tried to help the horses escape. the flames moved faster and the animals did. and two dozen didn't make it. when the santa ana winds come in twhribs no stopping them. president trump ordering federal aid to the areas where six fires have destroyed 500 structures.
1:33 am
the region's biggest blaze, the thomas blaze in ventura county is in its fifth day with 200,000 people still under smand tory evacuation orders. >> with how fast things change, you have to be alert. reporter: while the winds are supposed to drop down over the weekends, it doesn't make it easier for firefighters. >> it will be train driven, so crews will have to be very careful. reporter: the winds have not yet come back which is the good news. it gives firefighters precious time to hammer these areas.
1:34 am
you see the engines. they are finding the hotpots in the burnt out areas to tamp those down. if the winds were to come back over this weekend all it takes is one little spark to start a massive blaze. gregg: we are awaiting president trump's rally in pensacola, florida. we'll bring you the president's remarks when he takes the stage. there are folks in the venue armed with trump/pence banners. we'll be right back. stay with us. president trump vowing to build the wall. president trump: we are going to get the wall. gregg: we take up president trump's efforts to build the

gregg: joining me to talk about israel and the president's recent decisions to recognize jerusalem as the capital is pastor robert jeffress, pastor of the first baptist church of dallas. it was a bold move. it's something no other president has done. recognizing jerusalem as israel's capital. it sparked a predictable day of rage and clashes by palestinians. how do evangelicals feel about this decision? >> they are ecstatic. i sent a note to the president and said he's a modern day profile in courage. devout christians and jews
