i'm jamie colby. thanks so much for watching "strange inheritance." and remember -- you can't take it with you. [ whistle blows ] kennedy: the president taking credit for the nation's booming economy. plus robert mueller. it's time to get kicking. sometimes it seems the president can do no right. but that doesn't matter as long as business is booming, wages are up and people are working. remember when candidate trump said this? >> if i could snantd middle of fifth avenue and shoot somebody and i wouldn't lose any voters.

it's incredible. kennedy: love him or hate him, if the economy continues to do well, not only will he not be impeached. he will get re-elected in landslide in 2020. people didn't vote for a republican. they voted for a parachute from a burning plane with decades of broken promises from self-serving politicians. people aren't tethered to a party anymore, they are looking for their own bottom lines. wages are up 2.5%. unemployment is up to 1.4%. people are feeling it. and if the thanks plan does half of what's promised, the economic engine is primed to go from zero to 60 senate seats by mid-term. this is not by virtue of what

carnival barker donald trump saying we are still in charge. oz is over here. we are the ones make this good stuff happen. the truth of the matter is it's simple stuff like him hating red tape and eliminating all that stuff that federal government does just to monkey with everybody's lives. my favorite thing he does is when he holds up a snow chart and a makes he slain chow hold of of d makes elaine chao hold this thing up. he shows what they reduced it to. that's a big deal for people actually building and making things. that's the less they have to go through. kennedy: there are statists who claim nor regulation is required because human beings are such awful people, if the government doesn't regulate their behavior, no one will and they will
