11:06 pm
ohr . the other reason, there is evidence that federal statutes may have been violated. you look at christopher steel, whether he was honest with fbi, and jim comey leaked his memos, wok of which very likely included classified information. you take this start from hillary clinton investigation, take that through conclusion, and so fall russia investigation, all the way to appointment of mueller, yes, the fisa abuses are a big part of that. but i don't think it is exclusive to that. >> the only way too get at the truth, correct? but the problem with it is it stretches out over a long period of time, this is round the country's neck are in for a long time to come. >> issue is that sessions said he would appoint inspector general. the inspector general would work much slower than a actual special counsel, the inspector
11:07 pm
general does not have subpoena power, he could not bring in steel, or mccabe or comey. so, you would get it done quicker, then also, yes, there have been special counsels that have run amuck. that is fault of those supervising it, there is nothing to say, you can't give a special counsel narrow grounds and say, look at this stuff, charge people if they violated the law, if not stop, we don't want it a fishing expedition, that is what the mueller thing has become. >> who makes the call? who says yes there will be a special counsel? >> attorney general of the united states jeff sessions. >> are you expecting him to say yes? >> well he is moving in that direct, i think he should have said yes, a long time ago, he announced he appointed a prosecutor from outside of the

11:09 pm
brought have nothing to to with trump campaign and collusion. it is things that happened long before campaign with manafort or process crime, like, michael flynn, and papadopoulos. to me because when rosenstein appointed mueller he did not identify a crime to investigate,ly just said investigate links, that pretty much gave mueller a mandate of just find something, i think this is part and parcel, he is trying to fine something, that is not the way that investigations are supposed to go. there should be a bases for doing it, i am not sure that the case. >> a grand fishing expedition, right, let me go back to jeff sessions, he is considering, the use of word there, whether to fire mccabe at the fbi. can you spell out for our audience what mr. mccabe has allegedly been up to. >> inspector general, investigating how hillary case
11:10 pm
has been handled for over a year now, his conclusions is that mccabe was engaged in misconduct during the context, the course of that investigation. and his recommendation, this is a nonpartisan ig, he has recommended that mccabe be fired. so my view is that, if that is who inspector general recommends if you think that mccabe has committed misconduct, then i think that sessions needs to fire him, american public are sick of people in government who are not held accountable. you can bet your bottom dollar if a citizen got out of line they would be first to pounce on them. >> mr. sessions has a lot of big decisions to take, and soon. >> congressman ron desantos thank you. >> thank you. >> coming right back with more. stay with us. >> president trump slamming the national left wing media over claims of chaos within the white house.
