china will be the first to give concessions, but they're starting under very different place or they can can get a lot more to the u.s. than the u.s. really needs to get to them. we have a much more open economy. we've always allowed a lot more trade from chinese companies in our markets, which china has not. but you know, the other side of this is china has been taking steps to make all this happen. if you look at the financial sector in which we play them, china has been taking steps for the last two years. trendy they've been stealing intellectual property for decades but none of that is addressed in these negotiations or tariffs. do you really think the president in china's going to want to have his own people think he's getting pushed around by president trump? >> no, that is absolutely the

point. there is legitimate gripes we have against the technology hijacking that they engage in. the unfair trade practices. but they're a diplomatic ways to go about this. publicly saying they are going to blink first in all this autocratic tone out of washington is not helping. the trees, the terrorists and testosterone coming out right now is not a good mix for economic policy and it's not a trade policy. that is why you see america's declining. if we knew this could have a more peaceful and calming a gradual clearing of the noise coming you can see the stock market resume its upward climb. train to look for instance at zte. not just from u.s. businesses, which trump says he's not going to engage with u.s. businesses. i'm paraphrasing the president. he doesn't care if businesses are upset because he believes so much in the fight with china. at the same time, looking at potential trade wars with

europeans. nafta is far from solved. this is the timing of all this. could we just do one thing at a time. >> i mean, it's no secret trump has a different negotiating style than most politicians. it's because he's not a typical politician. he's going to do a lot of things that are unconventional. the other difference with china especially is the chinese have more of a long-term view on things. if you look at concessions the chinese give, which i believe they are in, you will see the chinese give some short term gains for us, but these have a much more long term when it comes to trade negotiations. >> by this something we've known for a long time. we showed the graphic earlier. the exports to china,

they keep saying there was bias, but no political bias. all of these text messages between strzok in page, unidentified fbi agents and lawyers that wanted to take down donald trump, no bias to see here. >> exactly. republicans on the committee is called into question what they claim is the refusal to ascertain whether decisions made with the most effect did. rather that they were reasonable. there's a huge manager that there is now a confirmed investigation into whether the bias was actually were clouding than originally reported in the original report. as republicans from the committee said what is critical is to know what was not in that report. cheryl: repubns have bee screaming about this for months, emily could hillary clinton e-mail probe was not handled and now we see peter strzok taken out of had orders investigated.

what does this mean for the russia probe? if we find out there was bias when it came to the hillary clinton investigation, that means there's likely a lot of bias with the investigation of donald trump. >> exactly. that is partly a spot with some congressmen have called for. this would mean that the entire tree is poisoned. you cannot start from the beginning point and expect there to be any kind of faith or zero conflict in any results of the entire investigation. it absolutely can impact the entire investigation into russian election meddling if it were found to be held with the decision to bring the midterm campaign. i want to know for viewers quickly that it was in keeping with fbi disciplinary procedures. his attorney has article on the record in cnn stating it is clear that the impartiality of the investigation has been called into question and it is

so it is very possible that we may come out of this meeting without an agreement. the iran oil minister is very upset that president donald trump seemed to interject his feelings on the cartel and said hey, we are not part of the u.s. department of energy. we are independent. this is a red-hot meeting. gerri: normally expected to go smooth. not this time around. president trump claims is opec's fault for hitting a three-point five-year high. but isn't it kind of unusual for the white house to weigh in before one of these meetings? >> it is publicly. traditionally white house in the past have gone behind closed doors. it would opec should do. always some blowback from the

cheryl: we continue to follow market reactions. the escalating trade were between the u.s. and china. michael huson fd&c market. do you think that maybe china has got more to lose than the united states does? >> i certainly think peter navarro seems to think so. if you look at the chinese economy and the fact that the chinese do have a significant deficit. ultimately you could make the argument given the chance that the chinese economy does appear to be slowing down while the u.s. economy appears in fairly good shape. we are getting a little bit of a rebound here in europe and that is on the basis while the rhetoric is being dialed up, the delivery of further terrorist will take quite a bit longer. as is the fact that the initial tariffs still being delivered by the sixth of july. there is a perception that there
