wow, that's deep. he didn't mention the fact that this country has run trade deficits for 43 straight years. and by the way, mcconnell was echoing paul ryan's comments thursday when he claimed new tariffs aren't the solution to economic growth. i don't think anybody said was. what is the solution to trade deficits crushing this country days after the chinese government urged u.s. companies to lobby the american government against the president's trade tariffs. at least ryan and mcconnell were listening to one leader who just happened to be xi jinping rather than donald trump. on wall street stocks closed higher. that's right. more trade tensions. the dow up 96 points.
