they're not supporters. they're not backers. they're putting their name on the ballot as democrats. very dangerous. liz: this is made-up term. there is no economic model for it. >> right. liz: it is socialism. they're talking about being progressive which is fine, you can be progressive if you want. you talk about socialism, they point to the nordic countries saying the in orderric countries have successful socialist model. denmark, norway, they say we're capitalists with big welfare programs. we're not socialists. knock it off. >> in america, socialism means what the fringe candidates are saying. everything is free. there is minimum wage that will be providedpy the government. there is universal health care. you don't have to pay for anything. problem somebody has to pay for it. somebody has to be making money. the way you make money in america is being capital isic. you go to work, you get paid. you have to work product.
5:47 pm
you stand on your work, your ability to work and perform. this is not in their vocabulary. my question to them is, who is paying? by the way, how do you get the money? liz: exactly, they're turning kennedy's state of the union sentence, that iconic, statement that he made, socialists like they are, they're saying ask what your country can do for you, not what you can do for your country, right, brad? >> worst demand from your country. liz: right. >> this isn't america. by the way in the midterms, using their newfound socialism, look at the difference between donald trump administration and a socialist administration. donald trump is unleashed the power of the individual, reduced the power of government through regulation, put more money in individual's pockets. the best thing for america is changing money between us, not sending money to the post to spend -- liz: what is so infuriating, is our universities have systematically cranked out these students who don't understand
5:48 pm
the economy, economic models, their enumerating. they have people all of sudden think they are politicians. never studied what these economic models mean and the fall out there. i talked to people in socialist countries. they would say to people like cynthia nixon and bernie sanders, come live in our country and see what we endure. >> get a free trip to venezuela, spend a week there, see how you like socialism. socialism is a failed experiment that should be in the dust heap of history that is now being rekindled for the very reason you just fav. they have no experience. they have no knowledge, they have no history. liz: basically an economy at the point of a gun. the military runs the socialist economies. >> absolutely. >> democrat california senator kamala harris blasting critics of identity politics. let's take a listen to this. >> i have a problem, guys, with that phrase. david: identity politics. that phrase is used to divide
5:49 pm
and used to distract. it is used to try to shut us up. these issues that they're trying to diminish and demean, are the very issues that will define our identity as americans. liz: you know kamala harris does have a point. what she is saying is, stand up against racism. stand up against the anti-gay attitudes in this country. stand up for women who have been oppressed. that's okay but the problem is, splitting up people into areas of victimhood and not having economic policies or other policies that would bring people up. it is, and i'm talking about being aspirational here, go ahead. >> sure. all about victimization. always for democrats has to be a victim. not we're all in this together. how do we have commonalty, how do we come to agreement, how do we compromise. never about compromise with agreement. their way or highway, they know
5:50 pm
best. if you're not with them, against them, you're being victimized. they are being victimized. liz: that is a problem. >> that is not what it is. you have to take responsibility which is not something democrats easily take to. liz: exactly. they don't, they shut their ears,. >> right. liz: you can't debate them. i know i have certainly been out trying to debate on panels, they shut their ears, won't listen, then they turn it personal, right, brad? they start attacking. >> politics of personal destruction. that is what has got to end in this country. we're all in this together. we need to find solutions together. liz: brad blakeman you're terrific. >> thank you. liz: antifa a live and well. in berkeley. damaging 21 vehicles. they slashed tires. some bystanders suffered minor injuries. we're bringing that to you, next. stay there. 5:56 pm
arrests after clashes between conservatives and antifa protesters. >> this is one of the easiest things in the world to be against. they are neighbor white he prum sifts. -- white supremacists. they were there to provoke. there is a problem on both sides of the aisle. liz: we only have nancy pelosi condemning it. kelsey, where is the condemnation on the democrats' side? the silence is loud. >> i think when it comes to groups like the white supremacists, people unfairly link them with donald trump. but when it comes down to it, it's hate and violence and none of it is okay. community organizations
