so that is the big question this morning do investors and traders and people on the floor of the new york stock exchange do they even care about this hearing or is it more likely that we will see volume goes down and they sit around and watch it. i think they will be watching. as a political event but is not an economic or market event. i think investors are can refocus on a lot of other things. there is a lot more to be concerned about in the market. speaking of that. a lot of headlines getting ignored. we had reports of china meddling in the midterms. china's foreign minister is denying it. what does this tell you about the state of negotiations over tariffs. does that mean that we are even further apart now.

i don't think that's true. i think china has just blanked. there is a story out yesterday in reuters. that they're actually cutting tariffs on some manufactured goods and manufactured products. china cannot win this thing. we are making inroads here. i think what the president said in the un to see other day. i think a lot of people in that room would've liked to said the same thing. he was just the one that have the guts to say it. we have a lot of companies now talking about the impacts. this seems to be the important story that is underneath everything. what's going on at the end of the day. what will we see that now is the market so not focus on

rachel mitchell has an impeccable background. she's been a prosecutor for over 25 years in the city of arizona and not only is she the division chief including outstanding sexual assault prosecutor of the year. here's what's important about her as well. she leaves the education around the country. as you know there was some misinformation been being circulated that she was somehow part of the department when it's actually part of the county attorney department. in 2011 when the doj alleged that they were under prosecutions by the sheriffs. they implement a training and identified those that could still be prosecuted. she really has an impeccable background. and certainly she has a long career of 25 years. the big question in today's wall street journal about

rachel mitchell is she tough enough and here's why people say this. she is described as carrying an competent and competent and empathetic. but not. mason. she has not seen as incredibly tough. what i'm wondering today. is that the right thing for this hearing wears at the wrong thing. this is not a trial. this is not a celebrity studded everyone is watching this yes but this is not a trial. this is a hearing. i think is a smart move by the gop because we don't want someone there who's stuck. they lead prosecutions that really encourage the victim to come forward and feel safe while at the same time seeking retribution for these offenders. earlier there were questions on this program about should
