handed over to the senate where it will be held we are told in a safe, one copy, once the report does arrive at the senate all 100 senators and a handful of staffers will be allowed to read it upon request. all eyes also on the senate majority leader mitch mcconnell preparing to move toward a vote, critical vote, historic vote on judge kavanaugh despite the constant unrelenting attacks from the radical dems and left-wing activists who it seems in this week took over capitol hill. mcconnell says he and his republican colleagues will not be intimidated. >> i think it's safe to say the national spectacle, the left created around judge brett kavanaugh's confirmation process has now reached some fever pitch, it hasn't been about getting to the truth or giving

anyone a fair hearing, it's only been about one thing, the far left's hung tore bring down judge kavanaugh's nomination by any means necessary, any means necessary. if facts and evidence couldn't get the job done, then intimidation tactics and bullying would have to do. i'm not suggesting we are the victims here, mr. president, but i want to make it clear to these people who are chasing my members around the hall here or harassing them at airports or going to their homes, we are not being intimidated by these people, there's no chance in the world they are going to scare us out of doing our duty. i don't care how many members they chase, how many people they harass here in the halls, i want to make one thing perfectly clear, we would not be

lou: well, nearly all dems and a few republicans are very upset, somewhat triggered by a president who would dare, dare to point out the inconsistencies and the failure to provide corroboration for claims made by judge kavanaugh's accuser, supposedly the president should just be silent on the issue and all of us should ignore the fact that so far there is no corroboration, in fact, there is reputation of by at least one of the witnesses provided a name by so-called witnesses named by dr. hill. this is an extraordinary time in our history and it is clear with every new passing day the fact is there is no case against judge brett kavanaugh unless, unless the fbi, the supplemental

fbi report we are all waiting on would demonstrate otherwise. but that's where we are tonight, our first guest to talk about the dems' shameful smear campaign against kavanaugh, intimidation tactics they have employed, physical, physical tactics as well, joining us tonight congressman jim jordan. he serves on both judiciary and oversight committees, he's also cofounder to have influential house freedom caucus, he's also the man that i would love to see speaker of the house of representatives. congressman, great to see you. there is so much to take up here tonight. let's start with just your reaction to the complaints about the president defending his nominee to be a social justice of the supreme court? >> the american people appreciate and understand basic fairness and what they see happening to judge kavanaugh and his family and to this good man is just wrong, it's not fair,

they get that and that's why you're seeing so many americans say let's confirm this good man, let's put him on the court, the aba ranking -- i mean, it was the highest rating you can get. this is a guy that should be on the court, i hope it happens soon and i hope he gets on the court soon. lou: speaking of fairness and i will throw in the aclu, two organizations, liberal but they have never before entered, entered into a political dispute like the one with judge kavanaugh and dems who are absolutely attempt to go destroy the man. >> well, the democrat party has gone completely crazy. i mean, think about this, they applaud kaepernick when he disrespects the flag, and the american people see it, they applaud kaepernick and they embrace governor cuomo, they cheer on maxine watters, it's

great to hear what senator mcconnell had to say as well about standing up to that, that's how radical the left and the democrat party has become, that's what i think americans see. that's not what the this country is supposed to be about and judge kavanaugh is a good man who has been treated unfairly and that's why you are seeing the people stand strong in the senate and i think he'll be on the court as soon as he possibly can. lou: i certainly and i know millions and millions of americans hope that you're exactly right in that. we have just learned by the way as i'm sure you are aware one of sheila jackson's staffers apparently is now accused of doxing a number of republican senators. >> yeah. lou: this is reaching absurd levels and we still have not heard a single democratic leader just simply renounce this --

>> yeah. lou: these attacks, this language, the rhetoric that they are employing, let alone the the awful tactics against kavanaugh and his family. >> lou, this is a campaign, the radical position the left has taken with outing people's information, applauding kaepernick, embracing cuomo, cheering on maxine watters contrast that with the president over the last 24 hours, economy growing at 4.2, lowest unemployment, gorsuch on the court, kavanaugh going on the court out of crazy iran deal, the embassy moved to jerusalem, hostages out of north korea, think of the contrast, that's how we frame this up, do you want radical left positions or do you like what's happening under the president's leadership and by the way, we still have important things to do that will not get done if the democrats take control. you think we are ever going to get the border security wall if democrats get control?
