after demonstrating at the supreme court. but they are trying to physically intimidate republicans? voting for judge kavanaugh in restaurants. they are attacking him and an airport hallway. and it goes on. it's as if they made a big mistake. they are finally attacking the very people who do write the laws and who do make the decisions on supreme court justices, and there is a price for that. at least there was today. >> there is and there should be an even greater price. we can't tolerate this behavior in a civilized society. there is no excuse for acting in ways to intimidate public officials and verbally assault them. there are federal statutes governing this kind of behavior. they need to be enforced. congress needs to tighten up its rules for conduct within those buildings. those are official buildings where government officials are

doing important work. they should not be ground for physical assault and threats of intimidation by paid protesters or thugs. they can stand outside and have their protest. but if they are going not halls much congress they should be behaving in a professional manner. lou: i don't understand how they were allowed to take over floors of that u.s. senate. i want to turn quickly to the dnc and the law firm perkins, coie, and they appear to be at the center of much of the efforts to bring the fraudulent dossier against trump, part of the deep state's efforts to subvert his presidency, his campaign, andj why isn't there more being done right now to

stop it? how do you prosecute a law firm? >> individuals in that law firm are responsible for these actions. in fact the firm has thrown mr. sussman under the bus, saying he wasn't acting on their behalf or within the course and scope of his employment when he was meeting with officials relating to the steele dossier. he's kind of hang out there on his own right now. lou: but that doesn't explain why the firm, its attorneys were involved with the dnc, the clinton campaign, and the gps fusion smear merchants as well as christopher steelee, the former mi6 dossier author. >> because it was all part of the careful are you orchestrated plan. i think we are going to find that mr. sussman and mark e lirks as who was lead d and mark

but what vice president pence did in calling out the chinese in the strongest of term that any government official has ever used in dealing with china is really long overdue. after 8 years appeasement by the obama administration in dealing with china's aggressive and malign behavior that's been going on for 10-15 years. finally we have an administration that's looking at them clearly and has stated unequivocally that in their national security strategy and national defense strategy, that when a big power company with russia and chain ka, and they have got it exactly right, that the long term strategic threat is china to the security of the american people. that's a mouthful, baits everything driving the implementation of a strategy to push back on china now and do it

near-term objective is to control and dominate the indo-pacific region. and they have been make something significant gains there. their long-term objective, somewhere around 20 years to replace the united states as a preeminent global power in the world. what we have had them doing, conducting -- they call this unrestricted warfare. what that term means to them is they will pursue their geopolitical objectives i just mentioned, control and domination in the near term and replace the united states, and do that with all the means at their disposal short of war. they don't want to go to war with the united states. but -- so economic warfare. 's tariffs. the high interest loans with emerging nations where they default. and we have seen this.

massive influence campaigns where they are meddling in our elections. that's what vice president pence is doing. lou: when president trump pointed out they were meddling in our elections, carrying out a propaganda campaign in our own country, he was met in some quarters with derision because they said it couldn't be. and sure enough, we are looking at the des moines register with inserts. we are watching the national media and local media outlets taking all of this nonsense from the chinese minister in this country as well as beijing and just simply spreading it around without any comment. it is -- it seems to me we are right now, this president promised we would have a smart government. and i have to tell you, that means a very, very smart military, and i just see us

lou: breaking news. the radical dimm operative who leaked information about three republican senators had a secret twitter accounts in which attacked republicans. his name is jackson costco. he used his account to tweet, republicans are bad and dumb. he also questioned department of homeland security. leland keyser who was thrust into the national spotlight told fbi investigators she was pressured by ford allies to change her statement regarding ford's accusation. her first statement said she didn't know kavanaugh and couldn't recall attend tag party

what's up next? >> right now we are on the clock hurtling toward this confirmation vote presumably before 5:00. we got word lisa murkowski is expected to speak on the floor shortly. we expect the senate to be in session all night. she was a no. the lone republican no. and she expressed her reservations about brett kavanaugh. she said she liked kavanaugh but she wasn't sure if he was the right man for this job at this time. kavanaugh got the yea votes from susan collins of maine and joe manchin, the lone democrat who will vote for him. it will be 51-49 for kavanaugh. steve daines, the republican senator from montana is supposed to be in montana to walk his

daughter down the aisle for her wedding. his vote doesn't appear to be necessary. and he said he'll come back if it's necessary. and they might hold this vote open very, very late. if they are going to start voting before 5:00, it usually takes 45 minutes to wrap up the vote. so the longest roll call vote in history took 5 1/2 hours on the economic stimulus package in 2009. sherrod brown came back to cast the decisive vote after his mother died in cleveland. we are not sure if they will keep the vote open that late for steve daines. lou: it all looks positive. that sounds like a new associate justice to the supreme court. chad, your work is outstanding.
