some people who might have been on the fence and not caring so much? they saw that. what does it equate to in their mind. >> i think the american people saw how broken washington, d.c. is and how partisan it's become. i think back to the speech lindsey graham made. he said he voted for two democratic nominees to the supreme court because they were qualified and able to serve in their capacity. the fact that the democrats besmirched and destroyed the brett kavanaugh family. when he said that his 10-year-old daughter prayed for the woman who accused her father of these things, that tells you the type of man he is. i think the american people are smart. they saw that and they saw the politics of personal destruction, which is what they did to him and his family. the president stood by him and the republicans in congress stood fast.
