isn't pro will be going to work at amazon. but in our state of wisconsin it will be great for us. it didn't help governor walker, because i don't think everyone understands what kind of economic growth this will offer our state. but they will look back at this and they will thank governor walker for bringing the foxconn jobs and other companies spawned from foxconn being in our state. liz: this is about getting an educated skills workforce. amazon could turn new york city into a version of silicon valley by making it an incubator where amazon workers quit to create other tech companies. >> to be clear. in wisconsin they will train wisconsin workers. they are going to improve their skill set in wisconsin schools. they don't have the skill set

now but they will in a couple years to get the high-paying jobs. when you get high-tech companies in your community it's great for spawning new growth. because the skill set in the communiti' is good as well. liberals argued against donald trump. he reduces taxes and lower regulations. the liberals are hitting him for that as jobs are coming back from jeff seas. donald trump did the same thing and they bash him every single day. lower taxes, less regulation, big companies, small come any, and more jobles for our country. i don't think they understand what impact the taxes and

regulations have. and i think it would be great if amazon had looked elsewhere and we didn't see northern virginia, a suburb of d.c. and new york city. if they had gone to mitch mcconnell or kansas city or somewhere else in the midwest, that would have been great. but amazon was wonderful in making different cities around north america compete for their headquarters. amazon wins. and i think the citizens of northern virginia and new york will win. but it will be interesting to seep alexandria ocasio-cortez fight with other liberals as she fights with governor cuomo. amazon goes against the ideology of the liberal progressive left. liz: let's welcome to the show mitchell taylor, the ce to of

' average income $25,000 a year. needless to say we know there are a lot of challenges in that development. right? down the street there are three more developments. this could be good, this could be great. but folks are saying how do we fit in? one thing i do agree with the congressman about. what they did in wisconsin. they started investing in the schools to train folks to be ready five, six, seven, ten years down the road. liz: do you agree with the tax breaks given to amazon so maybe the people in the' housing projects could get a job? >> i'm not anti-amazon, i'm pro the people who grew up in my neighborhood. my father started in 1961. and we have always been on the

cutting edge of social issues. we are trying to figure out how we can get in and be a part of this new economy. liz: your people really want to work. >> they want to work. this could be a capital sea change for our neighborhood. we have america's largest grocer coming into the neighborhood that doesn't even have a grocery store. we are not asking for a handout. we are asking for a hand up. giving the tools and resources for opportunities. liz: there is off and halo effect when companies like amazon come to town. are you talking about that? >> yes. but you can't eat a halo.

alexandria ocasio-cortez. >> i think alexandria makes some interesting points about corporate welfare. the idea that a targeted tax greek one company encourages an environment where you have jockeying by one company with the the you spngs of zoning laws that don't get to go to other businesses. let's not forget, the taxpayers will be on the hook. i thought i saw $48,000 per taxpayer in new york for these generous tax benefits. i'm tall for insuring companies can set up shops in places like new york city. liz: is this a big fat down payment for future economic growth and jobs? >> at first glance it looks that way. i saw the graphic you put on the

liz: the death toll from the northern california fires death toll is 51. there is a law scoot over the power company. the believe is the power companies are behind the fires. sir, thank you for your service your state. what do you need right now? >> the containment figures are starting to come up. the hill fire is pretty much done. the woolsey fire is 27% and it hasn't grown at all.

the campfire, we are at 135,000 acres with 35% containment. it's still active around different places around the perimeter. we have 9,000 individuals who have come in from 17 states as well as our firefighters and the national guard assisting in this battle. it looks like we are reaching that corner. liz: we are hearing the fire in southern california was moving so fast it was burning through 50 acres in 30 minutes. and you have hurricane-force winds. >> not quite hurricane force winds. but think of the topography. in northern california, we are look at 50-60-mile-per-hour winds. and then through the majority of paradise. so the winds have been blowing like we saw in october and

professors and lawyers say the law is on the president's side with requests for his tax returns. he's saying the law says the democrats can only access the tax returns under the irc code. >> the law is on the president's side here. i doifn this when i was chairman of the oversight committee. but the president has complied fully with his financial disclosures. there is no well requirement to disclose his tax returns. but he has a choice and he's chosen not too. there are only four people outside the i.r.s. the committee on senate finance. theways and means chairman and the president himself.

liz: the committee is saying they should be able to access the tax returns. but the professor says president trump can point to the scotus decision say floition congressional power to expose tax returns just for the sake of exposure. just for a fishing expedition. >> 26u.s.c.2363. you can see where members of congress shouldn't be able to access anybody's tax returns for purely political reasons. we see democrats throwing this around, we have to dive in there. they have to have a legitimate reason to access it. and if they do, they have to go into closed session, and they can't share the outside the group. and yet the democrats are trying
