mainstream as democrats, we'll fail in 2020. trish: briefly,en i have to have you back to talk about venezuela. you wrote a book on chavez. what was your thinking now and what are the similarities? >> i started work as a consultant in venezuela in the late 70s, early 80s. it was a democracy. chavez corrupted the economics, the political process, the military, involved in as you discussed, drug trafficking, supporting terror. and look, we see the result of it now. socialism doesn't work. free markets do. sure there are problems. but we can't fall for this seductive embrace of redistribution of radicalism and left-one politics which will only hurt our country and hurt our nation.
