that he'll accept the aid from other countries or us at all. people are facing starvation and disease. they are not getting their medicine. they are already pillaging and looting food trucks. trish: that's the video you are looking at right now. looting food trucks. i wonder if at some point people start saying, wait a second -- let me point out first, if you are near the border with colombia maybe you have a shot at getting that aid. but if you live far far away, you don't have a shot at getting that aid and there is no aid working its way through the country. you start to question whether this is going in the right direction.

trish: this is very real. and i brought the viewer into this story friday evening. and i did so because i have covered latin america for many years and spent some time in the tri-border region in paraguay where hezbollah is very active. when i was there 13 years ago reporting on this, i was getting intel that hezbollah was making their way to venezuela because it was a hospitable environment. they had in common they didn't like america and neither did chavez. in a lawless society, criminal gangs operate. whether it's farc, whether it's hezbollah, if you create that environment you are creating a hospitable, active environment for very bad players. you mentioned the passports.
