immigration, but we have a problem with illegal immigration. >> eventually it's the average american that has to pay for that. what is the solution at this point? >> what gives me a little bit of hope is the president does have some smart individuals work on this. you have got steven miller in the white house who always worked on the policy end, immigration policy send with senator sessions when he was in his office. you have jared kushner working on the immigration issue. there are intelligent people who have background in business and the policy work on this issue. there are some solutions. you can look at what secretary nielsen is doing with the migrant program. if we can expand that across the border and have border patrol

homeland security secretary kirstjen nielsen has said. why isn't congress happening? what do they think is happening at this point? >> we have one of our parties be the democrat part i says there is no problem it's a manufactured problem. in the quiet moment they say we can't let president trump have a political win. they are playing politics versus national security. and within the republican party we have people who don't understand the magnitude of the problem. that's why i take congressmen down to the border every chance i can so they can see what's going on. susan: the latest news is we don't even detain them anymore. it's catch and release. once they come in they are released. they don't go to their court date, and they are inside the border and you can't track them anymore.

susan: freedom of speech. that's in the constitution. i don't understand why there needs to be an executive order to enforce this on college campuses. >> it was great to meet so many other young people who had their free speech rights violated. there is a culture and college campuses everywhere where conservatives are pretty much not allowed to express themselves. susan: how did we get here, head be? freedom of exchange, isn't that what college is about, having an open forum where you can talk about different ideas and accept different views? >> i believe so. college campuses are where the free exchange of ideas should happen the most of. we got here over a long period of time with speech codes and political correctness kind of ramped up the non-sense and

censorship around this culture. >> let's talk about that incident on u.c. berkeley's campus. obviously something we discussed on fox and fox business. take me through that day. what happened? >> i was invited by some student to help them recruit, and they wanted to protest against this hate crime hoax that targeted conservatives and trump supporters even based on a lie. we were out there peacefully protesting, and these two individuals didn't like what our signs had to say which was pretty timid signs. god bless america, we support our president, this is maga country, hate crime hoaxes hurt real victims. they tipped over my table and it was a frightening experience.

students about their rights and why it's wrong that we should -- we shouldn't accept this as a standard. we need to hold -- especially in academia -- to a much higher standard. as president trump said they receive billions of dollars every year. berkeley alone receives a quarter billion dollars. i think we spent almost $30 billion in 2017 just on research dollars from the federal government to the institutions that aren't upholding the rights of people on campus to express themselves whether they are conservative or otherwise. susan: i think you should go back to u.c. berkeley. you don't need to wait for the invitation. get back out there and stand up for your conservative rights. >> it's encouraging and it's good to know we have the president on our side it's

could the pressure be getting to maduro? >> what maduro is trying to do is disassemble guaido's team to weaken guaido. one is to weaken guaido and the other is maduro is testing the international community's response to this. if it's just words and tweets that come out of this, it will embolden maduro and he could be preparing for a bigger move against guaido himself. we need to make sure senate we can back up the international community, the international community can back up the words and tweets with some type of diplomatic concerted action, a sophisticated response that can show the venezuelan people that maduro's days are numbered.

susan: right now i assume guaido is protected and untouchable by the u.s. >> that would be the assumption. but i never underestimate the enemy. maduro and his forces are continuing to dominate and repress, and i would not underestimate their ability to get a cheap shot in as they have done on maduro. susan: basically intelligence officials who are loyal to maduro, they used a grenade at the location and took him to an unknown location. >> you have got to believe the chief of staff, one of the most of trusted advisors of guaido. he's probably being tortured. >> we are showing now pictures of the chief of staff's apartment after being taken in
